Chapter 62: The War in the Infinity Castle Ends

In the heart of the Infinity Castle, an otherworldly space of wooden rooms and endless halls, Kokushibo and Lukeas found themselves standing on an open field. Above them, an endless expanse of rooms loomed, defying the laws of conventional architecture.

Kokushibo's presence was commanding and fearsome as he donned his purple-and-black hexagonal patterned nagagi kimono and black hakama pants. The eyes on his fleshy katana and its additional blades seemed to watch every move, making it clear that this demon warrior was no ordinary adversary. His three sets of eyes with yellow irises and red flesh sclera gave him an otherworldly aura, a testament to his immense power.

On the other side of the field stood Lukeas, wearing a tattered kimono adorned with a depiction of a raging storm - tornadoes, rains, and floods swirling across its fabric. His dark brown hair cascaded down his tall and athletic frame, but it was his vibrant golden irises that captured everyone's attention. Like a dragon's gaze, they held an air of ancient wisdom and strength.

As Kokushibo challenged Lukeas, the atmosphere crackled with tension. "Show me more of your cards," he demanded, a new determination burning in his three sets of eyes, eager to push his limits and conquer this formidable foe.

"Sure," Lukeas responded with unwavering confidence. Another weapon materialized from fron his palm into his hand and flesh like flesh thread slowly weave a staff in existence, demonstrating his Biokinesis.

He struck the ground with the end of his staff, and the Infinity Castle trembled in response to the sheer force of his power.

The two warriors locked eyes, each gauging the other's strength and resolve. With a burst of movement, they lunged forward, and the battle reignited with incredible intensity.

Kokushibo's massive fleshy katana, now augmented with additional blades, slashed towards Lukeas and Lukeas responded by jumping far back to avoid getting hit.

Lukeas wielded his staff with masterful finesse, channeling the power of Storm Breathing through it. Kokushibo, the master of Moon Breathing, met his opponent's challenge with a fluid grace that mirrored the tranquil beauty of the night.

Lukeas initiated the clash once again with [Storm Breathing's First Phase: Second Form - Distant Lightning]. In a burst of motion, he propelled himself forward with a dash akin to a lightning strike, covering an incredible distance in the blink of an eye. Closing in on Kokushibo, he delivered a powerful thrust, akin to a lightning bolt unleashed upon his opponent.

Kokushibo's movements were almost ethereal as he stepped to the side and avoided it then he executed the Moon Breathing's First Form - Dark Moon, Evening Palace then he performs a singular horizontal slash towards Lukeas following a crescent shape, creating numerous chaotic crescent blades along its path, their gleaming edges reflecting the moon's radiance.

Unfazed by Kokushibo's moonlit assault, Lukeas dissappeared from his position and appeared behind the demonas he used the [Obscuring Form] but the moon blades seems to have shifted direction and followed him he could also see Kokushibo's eyes looking at him.

Still, he flowed into Storm Breathing's [First Phase: Third Form - Spiking Wind Pressure]. His staff became a blur of motion as he launched a rapid barrage of 20 circular slashes by spinning his staff around. Each strike gathered strength like a whirling gale, enveloping the battlefield in the fury of wind. And destroying the moon blades that is heading towards him and at the same time launching an attack towards Kokushibo.

Kokushibo's tranquil demeanor belied his extraordinary skill as he countered with the Moon Breathing's Second Form - Pearl Flower Moongazing. three crescent-shaped slashes while releasing a multitude of crescent moon blades along with them as it danced around the battlefield with grace and precision, creating an aura of celestial beauty.

As the battle intensified, Lukeas activated Storm Breathing's [First Phase: Seventh Form - Sudden Lightning Flash]. In a heartbeat, he dashed in a new direction with the speed of a lightning bolt, leaving after-images in his wake.

And then launched a basic slash towards Kokushibo's head. His swift and unpredictable movements kept Kokushibo on the defensive.

Kokushibo, a master of adaptability, countered with Moon Breathing's Ninth Form - Waning Moonswaths. The crescent moon-shaped blades surrounded him like a protective shield, allowing him to parry and redirect Lukeas' rapid strike with finesse.

Undeterred, Lukeas fluidly transitioned into Storm Breathing's [First Phase: Fifth Form - Strong Gale of Wind] . With a wide horizontal arc slash, the force of the wind breathing combined with the swiftness of sound breathing, intensifying the impact of his attack.

In response, Kokushibo unleashed the Moon Breathing's Seventh Form - Mirror of Misfortune, Moonlit. Multiple slashes expanded outward, a dazzling display of moonlit attacks that challenged Lukeas' balance between offense and defense.

And so Lukeas chose neither as he jump up once more and shifted into Storm Breathing's [First Phase: Ninth Form - Rain Drop.] His staff descended like a water droplet from the heavens, delivering a precise and powerful thrust that carries his entire weight aimed at Kokushibo's feet, seeking to disrupt his stability and create an opening.

But once again Kokushibo's serene mastery of the Moon Breathing allowed him to counter Lukeas' attack with Moon Breathing's Third Form - Loathsome Moon, Chains. And he performs two extremely broad crescent-shaped slashes directly in front of him aiming at the falling Lukeas, from which a storm of smaller crescent moon blades are released. Making a storm of moon-shaped blades flow in a Cresent arc infront of him.

Seeing this Lukeas stop his assault and in midair he spun and redirect his fall to avoid the two slashes.

And once he landed he expected the demon to rain down more attacks to him but it didn't come.

"Huh.. I was sure you would use that annoying technique of yours that keeps fooling me to avoid that last two attacks." Kokushibo muttered.. Not a single fatigue was heard from his voice.

"And what? Get trap by those moon blade again?" Lukeas replied, he too not showing fatigue. And just as he said the moon blade that the two slashes made make a turn and flew towards Kokushibo's back but since Lukeas wasn't there it hit the ground instead.

Suddenly Kokushibo chuckled deeply. "Not bad.. Lukeas.. Not bad at all!-" he didn't even finish his own sentence and quickly dashed forward and once again perform the First form:Dark Moon, Evening Palace.

And once again the chaos ensues.

They fought like ancient demons and mystical beings, their powers resonating with the very essence of their surroundings. The wooden tatami room beneath their feet seemed to tremble with anticipation, bearing witness to the incredible clash of these titanic forces.

Each strike, parry, and dodge held the potential to determine the fate of the battle, and perhaps even the Infinity Castle itself.

And at this very moment all the hashira have now banded together as they have already defeated their enemies.

And each of them have suffered many injuries.. Muichiro have lost his hand.. And is in the back of the group..

He is holding his severed hand in his bloody wrist.

"Cover me till while I fix my hand!" he screamed towards the others.

"Heh.. So the demon slayer have stoop this low just to defeat me? HAHAHAH" Muzan laughed as he heard Muichiro he was sure he severed that kid's hand is he's sure he can't just "fix" it so there's only one answer..

"But unlike you we dont need to eat human like a piece of trash.. Because unlike you.. We're the true perfect being!!" Sanemi said putting his trash talking skill to use.

And whats more, he touch a sensitive subject.

And it didn't even took a second for Muzan to get enrage as his arm turned into whip like limb and starts rampaging once again..

His speed was too much for the slayer as most of them are pushed back... Even the Earth hashira was force to step back and even suffered some injuries.. But nothing fatal.

Although if it was the previous him.. It would have been quite problematic as he would have bled to death.. But no.. After Lukeas injected them with something 2 years ago they have experience a major boost in all categories.. Even their regeneration have been boosted.

And now they can fighting even more fiercely and more carelessly.. But of course.. They never bring their guards down. But still, the demon king prove to be too fast and powerful.

And while they are getting more desperate to their dodging everyone heard gunshots.. But not just one.. But an entire group of people are shooting gun at the demon king..

And the one leading them is Genya. "Dont stop shooting! And be careful not to hit the hashira you got me??!! If you hit them I'll kill you my self!!"

The demon king who was the target of this was force to defend himself giving the hashira a chance to unleash their own attacks.

And so instead he abandoned the defense and used his left hand-whip to try and kill gunners while he use the rest of the whip to keep the hashira at bay.

"Its just like what Lukeas said!! Everyone dont abandon your position and switch gun!!" Genya ordered.

And they did and even with the blade like whip is about to hit them they shoot every ammo they have and since Muzan have abandoned defense

Almost all the bullets hit their targets.

" Who the fuck miss those!! I'll beat you once this is over!" Genya yelled. "Those bullets are fucking precious you shit heads!" and hearing this the gunners felt their world crumbling...they feared him more than the demon king itself. "We're sorry!!" suddenly 2 slayer came forward and apologize.

And as for the incoming whip Tanjiro and his new gang and also inosuke have already intercepted it "The Great Inosuke has arrived!!!"

The Demon king was angered seeing him failed to kill those fuckers but he ignored it anyway and focus on a much powerful threats.

"Everyone Hold out a little more! And get ready for an all out assault!" Kagaya who was desperately jumping and rolling around encourage.

And the hashira worked even harder to keep each other safe from the demon kings attack. And slowly but surely they noticed that the demon king is getting more and more slow.. And his hair have turned whitter.

"what is this?" the demon king muttered.

"What? You like our little present you shit!?!" Genya taunt.

'Those bullets' the demon king look elsewhere.. But as he expected.. The gunners have left.. 'Is it a poison?'

And suddenly Obanai appeared behind him and sliced him in half. But it didn't do anything as it regenerated instantly. "Tsk.. Lukeas was right."

The demon king was about to retaliate when he was suddenly forced to block the income spiked iron ball.

"NOW!!"

A fierce clash just ended. Lukeas and Kokushibo could be seen standing on a lower level of the field because the floor they were standing on have long collapse from the fight.

'now that I think about it this is a different place where Kokushibo fought in the anime' Lukeas mind wanders in thought.

He was now completely topless with the bits of his uniform hanging by his waist. His baggy pants is also badly damaged.

And huge number of his weapon can be seen through the battle grounds floor. And right now he was once again using a sword.. But this time it's a bit longer.. He's using an Odachi...

'I'm running low on Biomass... If this fight continues I'll most likely lose' he curse in his mind.

Meanwhile Kokushibo is showing some bruises and small cuts. His clothes were also in tatters and is now also completely topless .. 'I'm spending too much of my energy to regenerate... I need to eat some flesh to get my strength back.... Or i might lose'

With both fighter's thinking of the same thought finished their small breaks both of them gripped their sword tighter before engaging in another fight.

With both trying even more desperately to kill each other as both are starting to near their limits.

In the middle of their clash Lukeas suddenly jumped away without any visible reason.. So Kokushibo perceive it as a weakness and quickly followed Lukeas.

But suddenly he saw Lukeas changed the way he gripped his sword and through the Transparent World he saw his breathing change completely.

Even his blood flow and hearth beats changed in a even more vibrant and clear way that reminds him of something.. 'Brother?-'

But Lukeas didn't give him time to think of such thoughts as he quickly fought back when he noticed the demon hesitate.

'[Storm breathing: 3rd phase: Tranquil Sunny Sky: 5th form: Sunshine] ' then Lukeas perform a slice that looks like a plain normal downward strike.

But when Kokushibo tried to look at it his eyes kept trying to look in a different place. Making him get hit by it.'W-what?' Kokushibo looked at his shoulder.

'Its the same as his feet when he's moving around!' he thought as he recognized it.

That's right he was using the same principle as the Death March that make use of over visual stimulation to overwhelm the enemies making it seems like their staring at the sun.

Lukeas taking this surprised in his advantage he switched to another form. [3rd phase: 1st form: Hot Rays] then he performed two horizontal slice so fast that it look like he did it at once.

Kokushibo couldn't get a proper look at it once again making him choose to defend against it. But much to his surprised his sword was sliced apart.. And another 2 wounds appeared on his stomach.

Not believing this he swung his sword and performs 3 Cresent shape slash that was followed by an even more moon blades than it used to have. 'Second Form: Enhanced Pearl Flower Moongazing!'

Lukeas grit his teeth and performs a back roll before standing up right and putting his sword infront of him. [3rd Phase: 10th form: Calm breeze]

And the moment the small crescent moon blade reach him he parried it casually and redirected it, and then the next, and the next, and the next.

But Kokushibo didn't waste this opportunity and he himself step forward to cover the distance between him and Lukeas and he performs a downward strike.

But Lukeas easily parried it putting him in a vulnerable position.

[Storm breathing: 3rd phase: 10 form variant: Ripples on The Calm Waters] and with a swift and powerful strike Lukeas ignored the other incoming Moon blade and Struck Kokushibo's neck.. Throughly cutting through it.. I'm turn the rest of the moon blade have turned his body into a swiss cheese.

"w-what?" Kokushibo muttered with a look of loss in his six eyes.

"A bit too greedy, my friend..." Lukeas said with a sense of relief and sadness for Kokushibo. But the latter felt the opposite. 'I lost?.. No thats not right... Yes.. I wont lost.. When I so much think about loosing.. It makes my blood boil...'

Suddenly.. The bleeding in his neck stopped.. And what follows was a hideous head regenerating back in his head.. 'Fuck! It's the same in the manga!' Lukeas thought as he re gripped his sword and took another form...

On the other hand Kokushibo took on a complete transformation, with protruding fangs and mandibles, large white horns on the front and back of his head, pointed nails, red outgrowths on his face, his pupils looking at different directions, shorter and messier hair, several thin tubes poking out of his body, and numerous black and red scorpion tail-like appendages haphazardly sprouting all across his entire body.

"Lets end this for real! Michikatsu Tsugikuni!" Lukeas screamed in desperation as he was now literally two digits away from zero Biomass because of regenerating those multiple holes in his body.

Hearing this Kokushibo thrust his hand and elongated nails towards Lukeas and peirce Lukeas in the very center of his torso.

Hearing his name he was once again surprised.. 'How did he know that? I never told him about it!' Kokushibo thought. When suddenly he noticed Lukeas' form..

'What?' he thought as he found it surprisingly familiar.

[Storm breathing: 4th phase - Here Comes The Night - 1st Form: The Night Falls] and with that.. Lukeas sliced down.. From the demons shoulder down to his waist in a diagonal cut. Before bringing his sword back up to perform another cut but this time going upwards in a diagonal way making a slanted V cut on Kokushibo's body and severing his head once again..

'I-it has the essence of moon breathing!...this kid... He learned my style throughout the battle?!..' Kokushibo was shocked.

But Lukeas didn't stop there as he once again performed another cut horizontally and sliced the demons head in half.

And finally.. Lukeas stops and lowered his sword.. And because of this Kokushibo cought a glimpse of himself from the sword blade.. And slowly he started to fade away in ashses as if he have accepted defeat.

"Dont worry.. Your sword style wont at least die with you" Lukeas said while Looking down at the last remains of Kokushibo's eye..

And soon it too faded away...

The Upper Moon One have Lost

"THE UPPER MOON ONE HAVE FINALLY LOST!!" these words were repeated 3 times in the battle field where the hashira have gathered. Lukeas own Kasugai crow flying around and sending information across.

Currently they're in a middle of a town. Some still dont remember what happened as it happened so fast... But around 7 minutes ago the platform they are standing onto have collapse and they found themselves here..

Thankfully the demon slayer in the Infinity Castle managed to get here by jumping in the hole as well..

And ubuyashiki's son was also manage to quickly send more troops replacing the slayers who got buried in the rubbles.

And currently everyone have a surprised face except one.. 'WHAT??!!? THAT KID KILLED KOKUSHIBO ON HIS OWN??!!' Muzan curse as he felt the dwindling morale of his enemies once again burst to life. "FUCK!" he curse aloud before whipping his deadly arm whip towards the group.

'Heh.. No way that bitch would lose' Sanemi thought as he jump towarda Muzan after avoiding his attack with a renewed vigor.

"Incredible! Good job Lukeas!!" Ubuyashiki cheered with a bright face.

"As expected.. Seems like I have to train even harder!" Inosuke yelled. "I wont loose!!"

"I woont Loose tooo!!!" Mitsuri yelled together with the boar head.

"HAHA! LETS GO EVERYONE!! LET'S NOT DISSAPOINT LUKEAS AND MAKE USE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY HE GAVE US!"

"All Units!! ATTACK!!"

Kagaya being a good leader he is raised the morale even more. As hundres of slayers who have been waiting nearby launch an all out attack..

Some shoots the demom king and annoyed the shit out of him. Others gave the hashira some openings by disrupting the demon king's attack..

And some saving the hashira and helping them with their injuries by handing out pain killers and medicine.

And slowly.. The demon king was getting overwhelmed by everyone and all of their attacks.. The Slayers of the Butterfly Mansion increasing the doses of the poison in his vein and adding all kinds of poison.

And this battle went on.. With the slayer fully overwhelming the Demon King.. The hashira would take their turns running out of the battle and resting while hundres of slayers would take their place. But of course this rest was only around 2-3 minutes before they are force to jump back into the battle... And soon.

The sunrise came.

"Where am I?" Lukeas thought as he look around.. He just took one of the doors of the Infinity Castle and he found himself in a random town in japan..

"... Huh.. I guess Imma pass out a little" he said as the last bits of biomass he have turned to zero.

And the world fades to black....
