Chapter 56: Sword Training

It's been 3 months since Lukeas was accepted in the demon slayer corp. This past few mouth Lukeas name grew. With him killing demons left and right and absorbing every single one of them.

He also wields a custom nichirin blade which the black smiths made for him. And he asked for a very unusual equipment which is a nichirin gauntlet with spiked knuckles and it covers his entire arm up to his elbows. And no its not his main. Because he could just control the shape of his flesh and make a weapon out of them. And so he only use the gauntlet when he doesn't think he needs a weapon.

And as for the staff he have before coming here, well he gave up to it as the Slayers couldn't find a thing back in that mountain.

And besides that he also learned all the available breathing and what's more, he didn't really need to be taught by it, he just needed to watch the hashira perform each technique in front of him. But that doesn't stop there.. Because Lukeas received a criticism from each hashira.. Not because he copied them but because his swordsmanship suck.

And from then on he was taught the essence of swordsmanship and whats incredible was he was receiving 9 different teaching from 9 different styles.. So he was learning a LOT.

And after a few more moths it finally been a year since he got in here. And alot have happened since then, first of. He finally defeated sanemi in sword fight. He can now use sword technique properly and not just mimicking his enemies. Whats more with his new knowledge in swordsmanship he successfully created his own breathing techniques called storm breathing.

His breathing style contains all the breathing techniques and created a chaotic, unpredictable and destructive breathing technique that unleashes a barage of attack and destroys everything in it's path just like a storm.

And he added that storm breathing in his Martial Arts collection and further made his style even more deadly. And after Sanemi got defeated by him Sanemi got even more fired up and started training once again promising he won't lose next time.

And since then Lukeas and Him became a rival that fights in a regular basis.

And whats more Lukeas inspired many others to take a secondary breathing style just to make their arsenal better. Just like Gyomei who took his time and learned wind breathing.

Giyu who trained wind breathing as well. And Sanemi who started training water breathing. Never have been the corporation this lively.

And for a bonus Kagaya, the head master have completely learned mist breathing in under a year without any cheat ability like Lukeas. Making everyone respect him even more.

Combined with Kagaya's intuition and foresight fighting him was akin to fighting in a misty mountains who would play around with your mind, make you get lost, and read every move you performed. Lukeas couldn't even defeat him with his breathing style alone.. Lukeas was forced to use his blood art just to bait Kagaya in a bad position and this only resulted in a tie.

And of course Sanemi pretty much laughed his ass off and started making fun of him. Which made Lukeas chase him around. And everyone started playing with them as well just having fun and celebrating their master's success.. And of course Gyomei is watching on the side like a proud dad he is, while Giyu and Obanai stands in the corner and looked at each other in complete confusion.

3 days later

Lukeas could be seen standing in the garden inverting if the master's porch. And unlike in the anime where Kagaya stayed in the shade inside the house right now he was swinging his sword tirelessly and continuing his training under the sun's heat. While his wife watch in the sideline and would occasionally bring him water and wipe his sweat.

"So you're leaving for the Final Selection as you planned?" Kagaya asked as he sheaths his sword and faced him.

"Yup, I have to make sure of something" Lukeas replied.

Right now Lukeas was wearing a black haori with a thunder, wind, tornadoes and pretty much a complete depiction of storm woven in his cloack. He was also wearing the famous Slayers uniform underneath the haori.

"Is it about the future?" Kagaya asked. Which Lukeas nooded to.

And although Lukeas told Kagaya all the major happening in the fute he didn't include some of it, like the fact that a young boy will be the center of everything.

"I see... Then dont let me hold you back and go forth Hashira of the storm" Kagaya chuckled.

"I will, thanks for everything Kagaya" Lukeas said as he nod at the master to show his gratefulness. And kagaya of course returned it and replied.

"And I thank you for giving me a body that can fight and protect more of my children"

And with that Lukeas turned around and made a shrugging gesture with his back.. And suddenly a huge eagle like wings sprout out of his back and stretch up reaching about 8 meters of wing span.

Kagaya of course didn't show surprised as he have known this ability of his. And with a swift and powerful flap of Lukeas wings he took off, sending dust and gales of wind all over the place.

"Lets get back to training shall we?" Kagaya turned around and unsheathed his blade.

"Of course husband" his wife replied and back off to a safer distance.

About an hours of flying Lukeas suddenly dived down and landed into a small clearing in a forest, sending debris of dirt and rocks flying on impact.

On the way here he saw a small house in the foot of the mountain and realize it's Urokodaki's hutt. Confirmed it after seeing a dozen of traps and all kinds of training equipments in the nearby mountain.

"This should be the time Tanjiro is fighting with the spirit of those dead children I believe." Lukeas said as he calculate the time.

"A half year later should do it.. What should I do while waiting for it then?"
