Chapter 29: Even more bizarre training!

Deep within the treacherous expanse of the jungle, a solitary tent loomed ominously amidst the dense vegetation. Its weathered canvas flapped gently in the humid breeze, a testament to its hardy construction. The surrounding terrain was hostile and unforgiving, yet the tent stood resolute, a beacon of hope and shelter in an otherwise hostile environment.

Within the confines of the tent, two individuals could be seen, their features barely visible amidst the gloom. They appeared to have just completed an intense conversation, each eager to establish a rapport with the other. As the discussion drew to a close, they clasped hands warmly and exchanged pleasantries, their smiles betraying a sense of mutual respect and admiration.

It was clear that the two had taken the time to introduce themselves to each other, their initial interactions paving the way for a potentially fruitful relationship. Despite the dangers that lay beyond the tent's flimsy exterior, the two seemed undaunted, united in their quest for money and growth. For in the jungle, where the unknown lurked around every corner, power and companionship were the only weapons one could rely on.

Peach grinned widely at Lukeas, his new boss. "Ah, so I suppose you're my boss now, Lukeas," he said, his tone playful. "If you ever need anything, just let me know. I'm at your service~ for a price, of course." He winked and stood up, smoothing out his shirt as he made his way out of the room. Lukeas couldn't help but smile in response, having grown used to Peach's cheeky personality after chatting with him for a while.

As he watched Peach exit the room, Lukeas' thoughts drifted back to their earlier conversation. He had been fascinated to learn about Klianism, Peach's religion. The goddess Klia, whom they worshipped, embodied love, lust, longing, and beauty. Peach had explained that in their faith, sex and pleasure were viewed as sacred aspects of life. They aimed to spread these ideas to others with their motto, "Feel good, life's good."

Lukeas found himself intrigued by this belief system. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to belong to a faith where sex and pleasure were considered sacred. Peach had also mentioned that Klianism's followers were immune to STDs and excelled in the bedroom, making them dominant in the sexual industry and one of the wealthiest religions. It was all fascinating, and Lukeas made a mental note to learn more about Klianism in the future.

With a sigh, he returned his attention to the task at hand. As the new boss, he had a lot of work to do, and he couldn't let himself get distracted by his personal interests. But still, he couldn't shake the thought that there was something deeply intriguing about Klianism and its followers. Perhaps it was something worth exploring further

"hehe... Boobies.." Lukeas chuckled like a perverted brat. His mind might have been 18 by now.. But his physical body is at 15 years.. And is still suffering from puberty.. Making him crave something.... Exciting..

" yup.. Well guard his body for 50 points each time.. Thats already 10 points more than the price of our current quest which is 40 points. And for me thats already a good deal.. What do you guys think?"

Just outside the tent the 3 are discussing the results of the negotiations while Lukeas was still inside.

" Not bad.. At least i dont have to be dirty.. " Rueen said as he shrugs his shoulder.

Julie also expressed a pleasant response as she nods in agreement. "Thats fine with me.."

"since everyone is fine with it.. It's official... He's now the leader of this party!"

"EHH!!??? WHAAAT!?"

It has been two weeks and a half since Lukeas began his journey towards physical transformation. By pushing his body to its absolute limit, he has trained his muscles to grow at an incredible rate, developing lean and powerful tissue that can withstand even the most intense physical challenges.. To further accelerate his progress, Lukeas has enlisted the help of Julie, a powerful sorceress with a gift for healing and rejuvenation and also by making use of the life support features. And by the use of healing magic to quickly replace damaged or aging body parts with new enhanced and adapted ones, he effectively skipped the recovery process and maximized his gains.

Through this combination of intense physical training and magical healing, Lukeas has made incredible strides in just four short days. He can already feel his body adapting to the new challenges he faces, becoming stronger, faster, and more resilient with each passing moment. Though he knows there is still a long road ahead, Lukeas is more determined than ever to achieve his goal of physical perfection.

Whats more noticeable is his new abnormal skeletal system. His rib cage, instead of consisting of a series of long, curved ribs, which are connected to the spine at the back and to the sternum, it has now merge together and fused to his spine, creating a solid, rigid structure that further enhances their overall durability. This fusion means that their chest cannot be compressed, protecting his lungs and heart from damage even in the face of extreme physical pressure.

After undergoing this transformation, his bones have become significantly denser and stronger. This is due to an increase in the amount of mineralized tissue within the bones, making them more resistant to fractures and breaks. Additionally, the bones have become more flexible, allowing them to withstand impacts without sustaining damage. This increased flexibility is similar to that of rubber, allowing the bones to bend and absorb the force of impact without breaking.

His teeth have also undergone a significant transformation. They have become one with the skull, resulting in a seamless and integrated structure that is incredibly strong. To break a tooth, an equivalent force to that needed to break the skull would be required. The skull itself has also undergone significant changes. While it may appear similar to a human skull, it is now much stronger, thicker, and more flexible. Rather than fracturing upon impact, it will now dent and bend, absorbing the force of impact and protecting the brain. Additionally, to provide further protection for the brain, muscles inside the skull act as cushions, minimizing the force of impact on the brain.

Overall, these changes have resulted in an incredibly resilient and durable individual, able to withstand impacts that would be catastrophic for an unmodified human. The combination of denser and stronger bones, integrated teeth, and a stronger, thicker, and more flexible skull with internal cushioning, make this individual exceptionally well-suited to survive in extreme environments and situations.

The suffering that Lukeas went through to obtain his enhancements was nothing short of grueling and harrowing. Julie and Rueen, his new friends, couldn't help but tag him as a masochist due to the extreme measures he undertook. However, Peach, another acquaintance of his, was pleased with the news and even commented that he could "relate" to Lukeas's perspective. According to Peach, suffering was just another form of pleasure.

This conversation deeply unsettled Lukeas, leaving him feeling slightly uneasy. But despite his misgivings, he continued with the process of obtaining his adaptations. To do so, he pushed his body to the limits, jumping off cliffs and descending mountains without using his limbs, instead relying on rolling down.

And if that wasn't enough, Lukeas also fought fierce monsters. One creature had thick tails and arms, and Lukeas allowed himself to become a living punching bag, taking blow after blow in order to strengthen his body and adapt to the monster's attacks.

All of this was a testament to Lukeas's determination and commitment to achieving his goals, no matter the cost. The level of pain and suffering he endured was a testament to his resolve, and he was willing to go to extreme lengths to obtain the power he so desperately sought.

It's not just his skeletal features that he worked on; he pushed himself beyond his limits in other ways as well. One of the most impressive feats he accomplished was developing an incredible resistance to poison. He achieved this by intentionally consuming poisonous plants and substances, repeatedly subjecting himself to the brink of death.

Despite the dangers involved, he would dance with Lady Death time and time again, pushing himself to the very brink of oblivion. When he regained consciousness, he would seek out even stronger poisons to consume, determined to make himself even more resilient. This took a toll on his body, and he came dangerously close to permanently damaging his vocal chords because of how much he screamed and beg for it to stop. However, even this organ adapted to his rigorous training regimen, and he now possesses the ability to scream louder and more powerfully than ever before. And it also became more durable enabling him to scream amd beg for a entire night without causing any damage to his vocal chords

He have also repeatedly drowned himself. With each attempt, he would remain underwater for longer, forcing his lungs to adapt to the lack of oxygen and the presence of water.

The process was grueling, and he had to endure multiple drownings to achieve the desired result. However, he persisted, pushing himself further and further with each attempt.

Over time, his lungs became larger and more efficient at extracting oxygen, and his heart adapted to the increased workload, pumping more blood and oxygen to his enhanced organs. The result was an incredible ability to survive for extended periods without the need to breathe.

Even if he did find himself drowning, his lungs were so well adapted that he could quickly expel any water and resume breathing normally once he got out. This made him virtually impervious to drowning, and he could survive in even the most challenging environments

Through his unyielding dedication and intense discipline, he has achieved a level of physical and "mental toughness?" that few can match. His feats are a testament to the incredible things that can be accomplished through hard work and perseverance.

Although.. He became even more... Playful? Naive? Dumb? Childish even.. It's as if his mind is making its own adaptation.. And making everything more like a "game" to keep himself from going insane.. And why does he even do this? He himself doesn't know... There's just this thing in his mind that was almost urging him to get stronger.. Whispering... it's so ethereal and looming it gives him goosebumps whenever he recall it...

Lukeas lay sound asleep on top of a massive boulder that stood out in the midst of a vast green landscape. The boulder was located just outside a dense jungle, and below it was a small camp where his companions had spent the night. The campfire still smoldered, emitting faint tendrils of smoke that rose lazily into the sky. The morning sun was just starting to peek over the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the land.

As Rueen and Peach emerged from their tents, they noticed that Lukeas was still sleeping on top of the boulder, apparently oblivious to his surroundings. Rueen, puzzled by Lukeas's lack of vigilance, turned to Peach and asked, "Why is he sleeping? Isn't he supposed to be keeping an eye out for monsters?"

Peach responded by picking up a small rock and hurling it at Lukeas's face with a well-aimed throw. To their surprise, Lukeas caught the rock in midair and opened one eye, glancing down at his companions before closing his eye again and drifting back off to sleep.

Peach shrugged and went to fetch their traveling bag, while Rueen shook his head in disbelief and retreated to his tent, muttering to himself about the odd behavior of his companions.

As Peach set about preparing breakfast, the others began to take in their surroundings. In the distance, they could see the towering walls of the kingdom rising up against the sky, with the gate leading directly back to the academy clearly visible. The camp was surrounded by a few scattered trees, but beyond that, the landscape was mostly open, with rolling hills stretching out to the horizon.

And finally Julie woke up and the 3 eats breakfast. Peach paused.. "Hey Luke.. Dont you think you kinda made the wrong decision?" Peach asked.

"... So were in the nickname phase now eh? Also what do you mean?" Lukeas who was just sleeping answered.

"I mean.. Back when I'm a junior the school pretty much taught the basics at he first few weeks.. Shouldn't you have stayed there and learn the basic first before going on you own training?.. I mean.. [Mana convertion] .. And [Manadation] is quite a hard skill to learn if no one is guiding you... "

Suddenly Lukeas sat up straight.. " what? "

"... Uh.. I'm saying they teach the basics of magic.. And stuff at the start... And since you went out the very first day... Hmmm.. I'm thinking they're currently at the topic of converting mana into spells... Or maybe just some neutral spells... I dunno.. They might have changed that thought it'd been a-

"WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOOO!!??" Lukeas exclaim.. 'my magic lesson!!'
