Mistakes.

Kaguya was floating above the surface of the moon and a questioning look appeared on her face as she heard Tendo call her name. There shouldn't have many people alive who knew her name in this current time, especially someone as young as this.

Kaguya: "Hmm. You already know my name, creature?"

Tendo: "Why wouldn't I? You've been here in my mind for a while."

Kaguya: "So you've noticed me before..."

Tendo: "Well, of course."

Kaguya: "Tendo Senju....a part of your chakra reminds me of my son, Hagoromo. It looks like a bit of himself is being formed inside of you. But, the rest of that chakra you have, that cannot be apart of the chakra I gave out to the world. My chakra was never so....destructive."

Tendo: "I'm not surprised that he's there. And you're right, this chakra isn't yours. I've created it myself. Now, what was your purpose in bringing me here?"

Kaguya was immediately interested in the process Tendo used to create his own chakra because as far as she knew, that could only be done by consuming a chakra fruit.

Kaguya: "You created your own type of chakra? Did you make a new chakra fruit in the time I was gone? What have you done to the world?"

Tendo: "What have I done? Nothing. There was just never someone such as myself to create it in the history of the shinobi world. My body is made for it. Even if you tried to take it from me, it will just end up destroying your own body. I'm asking again, why am I here?"

Kaguya was almost infuriated by how he answered her but in the end, managed to regain her calm as even if she tried to attack, it would do nothing. Of course, she didn't believe that the demonic chakra would destroy her body as she still believed that she was the mother of all chakra. Deciding to put her inquiries into the back of her mind, Kaguya continued:

"I just wanted to see the owner of the body I would be taking over face to face. I don't have anything else to say."

Tendo: "All of this just to stop your family from coming back eh? A sad existence indeed. Why don't I give you another body that you can take over for now? That way, we can achieve what you really wanted in the first place."

Kaguya's eyes opened wide when she realized what exactly Tendo was talking about. Her suspicion of him rose immediately as she feared that maybe he was endowed with the seal of another otsusuki who was giving him all of this information. Even though she was sealed and couldn't use any of her powers, she got into a battle stance just in case he attacked, hoping that her body could withstand whatever he was going to throw at her.

Kaguya: "W-who are you?! Are you part of the main family?!"

Tendo: "Relax, Kaguya. You can just inspect my body. No reason to get hostile."

Kaguya: "How can I relax when you know information that not even my most trusted ally has access to?!"

Tendo: "Let's just say, anyone who tries to enter my mind gets their minds infiltrated also. So everything you know, I know."

Kaguya: "Impossible! You couldn't have! Damn creature!"

Tendo: "Princess, again, relax. Why don't you use your will to control a body in the shinobi world so that you can see my real intentions? I'll help you achieve the peace you wanted for the world and in turn, you give me your strength."

Kaguya: "Why don't you just take it? There's no need for all of this if you can devour anything just like how you devoured that toad right? Although devouring the toad is one of the reasons I wanted to talk to you. He is the one that taught my sons how to use natural energy so that they could rebel against me. I wanted to destroy him myself."

Tendo: "Because you Otsutsuki are abnormal. I need to get accustomed to your abilities to live past 'death' and reincarnate. I don't act recklessly."

Kaguya: "...alright, leave. I'll call you back here when I'm finished thinking about it. But...before then, prepare a body that I can control. I'll take you up on your offer to see if you'll truly go through on what we agreed on."

Tendo: "Alright."

Tendo then found himself on the bottom of mount myoboku once again, his body still walking towards the land of demons. He was glad that Kaguya had finally decided to show herself and that they could agree on something like that. Tendo didn't even know that at this moment, something was set in motion that would change the course of his life forever. He was ready to go meet Shion, who he was sure had completed her mission and was waiting on his arrival by now.

[Several hours later, In the forests of the land of demons.]

A young wounded girl was breathing frantically as she jumped through multiple trees with a dead body on her shoulders. She was trying to shake off her attackers and find a place to hide as she didn't expect the protectors of the person she killed to be so strong. The girl, of course, was Shion and on her shoulder was a dead Yakumo Kurama. The girl had already wounded her quite a bit with her genjutsu but even though Shion managed to kill her, multiple jounin level shinobi from the clan suddenly showed up and started attacking her immediately. She had managed to escape temporarily multiple times but they always found her tracks and the chase started again.

She tried contacting Tendo before but the White Zetsu on his wasn't responding. Although she felt slightly discouraged by him not answering, she continued on her journey as failure wasn't an option. Even if she died, she wanted to at least make sure that Yakumo's body made it to Yomi's hideout as Tendo ordered. She continued running away as multiple poisoned weapons flew past her body, some of them scratching her and the rest completely missing their target.

Medical ninjutsu was used to slow down the poisons as she kept moving. She kept her mind focused on her goal. Suddenly, she jumped out in a clearing of the forest and the opening of a cave finally showed up, causing her to let out the brightest smile she had in a while. The cave was, of course, Yomi's hideout. As soon as she arrived in front of the cave, her body fell down on the ground motionless with her red hair flowing in the wind, and her once vibrant purple eyes were now dulled out in dark shade of grey. The poison had finally gotten too much for her weak body. Tears were flowing out of her eyes as she said with her last breath:

"T...tendo...i've...completed...my...mission. A-are...you...proud..o-of....me...?"

The clan members from the Kurama's arrived shortly after and when they saw the body of Shion, they couldn't help but sigh in relief. They thought that she had escaped once again from their sight. They were short on supplies so one more night of chasing her would've become even more dangerous if she did manage to escape. The leader then walked out to go retrieve both of their bodies when he suddenly found both of his hands rolling on the ground, detached from his body. Blood was spilling out of his sockets endlessly as he started to scream in terror.

He couldn't see where an attack even came from, much less one strong enough to mutilate his body to such a degree so quickly. Looking around, he was astonished to find a young man wearing black robes standing over Shion's body with his blood-covered sword drawn. The young man's face was calm as his long dark hair blew in the wind, his sights not even departing one bit from the body of the girl in front of him.

Tendo: "Mission accomplished, Shion, you did well. It seems I made an error in my judgment when I sent you on this mission. You weren't ready for such a grueling task at all. But... I will still reward you. For every wound on your body, I will dismember the bodies of those involved the same number of times. That is your reward."
