Kurosuki Family.

The next morning, Tendo could be seen sitting leisurely in the middle of a burnt clearing in the forest with multiple clones surrounding him. He then dispelled all of them and closed his eyes to receive all the experience they gained overnight. A while later, Tendo opened his eyes once again and a dark purple flame emerged from the entirety of his left hand, looking like it came from the depths of hell itself.

Tendo: 'I've achieved this much with one night of training. It seems that I can only use it with my left hand for now though. Using it in higher concentrations than this would make it unstable so until I master it more I can't overdo it. Alright, time to get to that village, I'm can't spend too long in this country right now, it's too close to the Land Of Fire.'

Tendo deactivated the flames, left the area, and walked slowly towards the village. As the village came into view, he noticed several villagers standing by the gates peering into the forest. In front of them was an old man who looked like he was in his late 60's. He was wearing a slightly tattered brown robe and he held a walking cane in his hands. Tendo guessed that he was probably the leader of the village. As Tendo came out of the forest, they all saw him and the leader called out to him in a slightly fearful manner. A stranger

Village Leader: "H-hello young man, my name is Masashi Ki-"

Tendo: "Burn."

Tendo kneeled down on one leg, putting his hand on the ground as the flames of desolation rekindled itself. As soon as it touched the ground, Tendo sent it towards the villagers and the entire village. They didn't even have time to scream before the flames broke down and absorbed every part of them, including their souls. The flames spread across the village extremely fast, destroying and absorbing everything in its path. In no time at all, there were nothing but burn marks left on the ground where the village was. Every part of it was annihilated. He waved his hands and the flames were put out immediately, stopping it from spreading even more.

[Ding!]

[Hosts soul strengthened. Hosts body strengthened. 60 people killed. 60 points gained.]

Tendo: 'It's done then. I can finally go to the village Ranmaru is in. But this might take a few hours, so I can train my Power Release and Flames Of Desolation as I go. I haven't been doing much with it other than slightly augmenting my abilities and I know it does much more than that. Water Style: Water Clone Jutsu.'

Tendo used one water clone as he didn't want an entire squad of clones behind him as he was traversing the country. He would practice the Power Release while the clone would practice the Flames Of Desolation. Red lightning appeared all over his body as soon as he used the Power Release. It was powerful, but it was just raw power, Tendo didn't have much control over it. His first idea was to apply it like a type of 'permanent buff' to himself by using the lightning on his nervous system and muscles.

This would increase his physical abilities dramatically once again and increase his reaction time greatly. He decided to start with that first because it'll also help with his control over the Release in general. The duo then left the spot, heading towards the Katabami Gold Mine, the mining town where Ranmaru was located.

[A few hours later]

Tendo and his clone arrived on a cliff overlooking a valley. In the valley was a reasonably sized town with a waterfall flowing down through the middle of it. Villagers could be seen working hard all around the village, making it look very organized in it's setting. But he knew what was really going on. These people were enslaved by the leader of the town. This was Katabami Gold mine. Tendo dispelled his clone and merged with the ground, moving down into the valley to gain access to the village.

As he arrived he saw several men with black robes carrying a coffin. He knew that the one responsible for this was Raiga Kurosuki, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, the companion to Ranmaru. He liked burying people alive because he had a psychotic joy for funerals and burying people was his own way of gaining satisfaction. The first thing Tendo did was to look around the village for Raiga and his minions who called themselves the Kurosuki Family with his Byakugan.

It didn't take long to find them but for some reason, he couldn't find Raiga and Ranmaru. Tendo knew that Ranmaru's dojutsu could block out the visual prowess of other Dojutsu's so that was probably why he couldn't find the two of them. Instead, Tendo made a hand sign and used his sensory abilities to track them down. This time, he found them, but they're chakra seemed agitated.

Tendo: 'That boy must've sensed me coming with his Dojutsu and he's probably informing Raiga that I'm here right now. Alright, then I guess the time for hiding is done.'

Tendo traveled through the ground once again until he arrived in front of the headquarters of the Kurosuki family. There were a few guards around the place but it wasn't heavily guarded. Tendo exited the ground in front of the guards and they were taken aback immediately. The guards brandished their weapons but before they could even move, Tendo ran through them with his Wraith Execution. He got his usual system notifications and five points for killing them. He got their memories of how the inside of the headquarters are built and how to avoid any traps that were set.

Tendo still had his senses locked on to Raiga and Ranmaru as he traversed through their headquarters. It was only a large mansion so it didn't take long for him to make his through it and into the room where everyone was located. He heard lightning strike the mansion at the location of the room he was heading to so he guessed that Raiga was setting up for battle.

When he arrived, all of Raiga's men were standing by the door with their weapons drawn. Raiga was standing behind them with both of his swords drawn, coursing with lightning. The roof of the room was destroyed and the weather had already changed drastically from a sunny day to a sudden thunderstorm.

Raiga: "Just a teenage boy? Do you think you can just walk in here by yourself and do anything you want?! I'll teach you a lesson that you will never forget! Men, kill him!"

Tendo: "I'm already tired of hearing you talk. Just die already, that boy on your back can't save you anymore."

Raiga was surprised at what Tendo said but the latter had already moved towards his men with blinding speed. Tendo didn't even bother to use a weapon as he just used his bare hands to crush all of them. It only took hit each for him to break whatever part of their body they were hit on. Raiga saw his speed and already decided that this opponent could not be beaten easily. He tried to flicker out of the room, but Tendo easily caught up to him and grabbed him by his face, ripping Ranmaru off of his back. Tendo then took Raiga's face and slapped it into the ground, almost bursting his skull wide open with just the impact alone.

Ranmaru was a small purple-haired boy. He was wrapped in some kind of material that Raiga would tie around himself to keep Ranmaru on his back. Currently, the boy was crying profusely, screaming Raiga's name in grief and despair. When he noticed Raiga wasn't answering, Ranmaru turned his attention to Tendo and started pleading with him.

Ranmaru: "S-sir, please let...him go, I'll...even trade his life f-for mine...if I have to."

Tendo ignored Ranmaru and was going to finish Raiga when the boy suddenly stretched his hand out to hold on to Tendo's clothing.

Ranmaru: "Sir!...please..l-listen!"

Tendo: "Sigh, alright, I will indulge you. You want to trade your life for his right?"

Ranmaru: "S-sir?! Yes, I will! Thank you!"

Ranmaru was ecstatic because Raiga was one of the only people who ever treated him well in his life. For him to give up his life for Raiga would be payback for everything he had done for him. Ranmaru took one last look at Raiga's unconscious body on the ground and waved at him.

Ranmaru: "Raiga, t-thank you for all you've done for me. Sir, please! I'm ready."

Tendo saw how the boy didn't fear death one bit and would be lying if he said he wasn't impressed. He was still going to take his Dojutsu, but maybe he would use his soul in the future to create an ally for himself. Of course, Tendo also had a plan for Raiga after Ranmaru's death. He wouldn't die but he will definitely serve an important purpose.

Tendo: "Alright boy, you will rest for now. Wraith Execution."
