Geale lay curled at his side on Marnthe's bed. He bitterly thought about how awkward and terrible his first date with Marnthe went. He ruined everything by picking up Lapiz' scale.

They returned to the restaurant bar just as the crew was packing up. Quin insisted they leave everything to staff so the two of them proceeded to prepare for bed in the second floor. Marnthe bid everyone goodbye before taking a shower, leaving a newly showered Geale to lounge around in his bedroom.

None of the crew prodded him for updates, which was good. They did leave a message on their group chat telling him to share how the date went once he was ready.

Did Marnthe's face show that the date went terribly wrong?

Geale grumbled and buried his face on Marnthe's pillow. He should have just changed the topic of their conversation on the way home instead of following his urge to satisfy his curiosity.
