Chapter 8

Investigator Clordi was going up to see who was living in that apartment. When he reached, the door is open. So, he was pushing the door to get inside. He was taking out the gun from his softshell jacket and ready to shoot. He was slowly stepping inside the room and covering himself with the indoor plant, wall, and everything. He was walking carefully and found someone in that apartment. At last, he reached the room. He looked around the place and find under the bed and also in the closet, the dressing table, and everywhere. He found no one. But the light blub was lighting up the room. He felt strange and thought that she is running away from here. He said, "Smart girl but you can't hide anymore". He was putting his gun back in place and leaving. When he took the elevator, someone is watching his steps from the dark corner. He wasn't seeing that person because the end of the floor is too dark. He was pushing the down button and then he stand there for a while. Suddenly, he felt cold so he put his hand in his pocket and sneeze a little. He said, "What's that strange feeling?". He looked around and there is no opening window there. At that time, the elevator door opened so he get inside quickly. He scared the ghosts and spirits. He felt like someone was behind him and watching his back. He felt terrified and scared. Then, he left that building and head straight to his car. When he got in the car, his phone was buzzing with messages again. He was opening the phone lock and take a closer look. After that, his eyes widen up, and said, "No, you can't come here". Then, he drove his car back to the motel. The person who watched him all over is still there. But it wasn't being the human. It was the demonic spirit who assist the demonic soul inside Rain's body.

In the storeroom, Rain was getting busy cleaning and placing her stuff. At that time, she saw the scenes in her brain. She couldn't take those out. So, she was lying down on the floor and stabilizing her mind by focusing on breathing in and out. When it stopped, she said, "Not again". She was looking at her face in the handheld mirror and said, "Why are you still disturbing me?". The voice in her head appeared by saying, "That guy tried to mess up our business". She said, "Not your business that's my life". That voice was laughing in a scary voice and said, "Rain, you are still under my control so your life is not yours". Rain said, "I will find the main source and clear you out of my brain". That voice said, "Try again Rain because your mother can't save you from me right". Rain said, "Stop talking about my mother". That voice said, "If you dig the truth and find the source, I am sure you will hurt the most". Rain said, "I don't care because I have people who trust and care for me". That voice said, "the white-blonde hair guy seems like a crush on you but be careful he is the womanizer". Rain said, "You are so into my matters". That voice said, "I am in your brain and your soul so I know how you feel". Rain said, "stop reading my mind and leave me alone". That voice said, "Okay, you will need my help to catch people's minds still". Rain said, "I can do this alone". Then, that voice disappeared and she go back to normal. She was looking again at hand hold mirror and said, "You can change and live as you want". She was putting her bags on the bed and placing everything on the desk. And then, she was opening the door and found the bathroom. On her way, she bumped into Zac again. Zac said, "Ouch it's hurt". She said, "Sorry". And then, she looked at the person carefully again. Zac said, "Rain why are you here". Rain said, "I can't sleep well because of changing the bed". Zac said, "Where are you heading to". Rain said, "Oh, I am finding the bathroom". Zac said, "Turn right from the staircase and go to the end of the hall then you will see the bathroom". Rain said, "Okay". Then, she was headed there with the scissor. Zac saw it but he don't understand her all the time. He was heading out by opening the back door. And then, he was smoking outside. An hour later, he went back inside and meet Rain again. Rain was cutting her firey red long hair and turn into Rocker's style. Zac asked, "Rain where is your beautiful hair". Rain said, "I want to change my style and start to live as a new person". Zac said, "That suits you well but you need a little touch to get smarter". Rain said, "Okay, can you help me". Zac said, "I am good at it so trust me". Rain said, "Okay, where are you heading now". Zac said, "Follow me". Then, she was waiting outside until Zac appear. Zac was taking the trimmer and let her sit on a bench outside. She was looking up to the sky and see the sky have full of stars and a crescent moon. Zac was holding her head and said, "Don't move". Rain said, "Okay". He was carefully trimming the leftovers. Minutes later, he was blowing all her hair from her neck and she feel weird because of his touches. She felt the breath and hot air around her neck. And then, their eyes met in the middle and feel electric. Both of them moved their face away and said, "Now, it's done and you have a look at the mirror". He was putting the mirror at the back and she take a look. She was saying, "You are a nice hairstylist so you have done all your member's hair". He said, "No, I don't but I do my hair all the time". She was holding his hand and said, "I feel so glad to know someone like you". Her eyes were lighting up like a star and clear and innocent like a child. He couldn't look away from her at that time.

Ms. Molina was driving her wagon on and trip to Seattle. Nora and Eugene were supporting her on that trip. Nora knew about Rain a little. Also, Eugene was being her friend at the same hospital.
