Chapter 7

In Portland Oregon, Ms. Molina who's in charge to watch and care every patient had dreams about Rain. Rain's eyes turned and dress a scary smile on her face like a puppet. Rain was standing on stage and waving up to the people sea. The stage was being fully red like blood and Rain's hair also red like a flame. Rain was dancing along with the guitarist and the other band members follows her movements. Then, Rain was holding the microphone to sing a song. Rain put her leg on the soundbox and lean her face up to the people. At that time, she heard the loud voices of people who said the name, "Red....Red.. Red". Then, Ms. Molina woke up in her bed. She felt horrible to see those things. Ms. Molina said, "No, I can't let her control the people so I need to find her and grab back to here". Ms. Molina and everyone at Cedar Hills hospital knew Rain has a talent for singing rock songs. Rain often entertained other patients in the common room. No one could stop her when she use her mind-controlling power upon the people. Once the psychiatrist and brain doctor noticed that accidentally on the people who fell in love with her rock song. That person's brain scan turned out abnormal. So, the doctors traced the problem that caused him this. At last, they found the possibility of Rain's vocal. Rain owned the sound of God which is big and strong. Rain also loved to listen to punk rock songs and soft rock songs the most. One day, they decided to create a good place for Rain which cover her voice. During that time, they moved Rain to the other place. That place was making up for the serious patient who hurt the others and attack someone. But Rain was singing there too. She didn't scare the dark and cool. Everything showed her condition isn't normal. After they finished, they take her back to the room and wait. When she got back to her room, she doesn't notice any changes yet. But she didn't sing anymore. Therefore, they all think the problem was gone. Now, she must follow her dream and sing as much as she wants. Ms. Molina was stop thinking and then she pick up the phone. Molina thought she need to tell this investigator Clordi. But Mr. Clordi wasn't picking up her phone. She looked at the alarm clock and said, "Oh, it's too early so I need to tell him later". Then, she was heading downstairs to take a glass of water. There, she saw someone move around like a ghost. Molina asked, "Who's there?". Then, it disappeared. Molina said, "Gosh, what's that thing". Rain's fellows were living still there. They could report to Rain anytime via telepathy.

At the same time, Rain was having dinner with her new friends. The team wanted to hear her song. But she said, "Can I do that after having a shower". They looked at each other and said, "We want to hear to judge your vocal rate". She said, "Okay then, what will I sing". She said, "Oh, right, I will choose Evanescence - Bring me to life". Zac said, "Give her a hug clap first". She was clearing her throat and put in the mood and start singing. The Rock band who already worked with the other vocal over years was stunned by her voice. They already followed by her voice. In the end, they said, "You have a beautiful voice Rain". Rain said, "Thank you guys". Zac said, "We don't have enough time to go to the championship". Rain said, "What do you mean?". zac said, "Look we need to go into the championship three months later". Rain said, "No, we have enough time to beat those bands up". The others said, "Wow, our youngest member has full of strength in her tiny body". Zac said, "Follow me and I will show you your room". Rain was carrying her bags and followed him. At the end of the upper floor, there had a tiny room that they use as a storeroom. Zac opened the door and let her in. She said, "Oh, it's messed up with full of spider web and dust". Zac said, "Will you be okay with that?". Rain said, "Sure did". Zac said, "If you need anything, the girls will stay by your side". Rain said, "Okay, then". Zac said, "I will take my leave now because I need a lot of work to do". When he turned back, he was focusing on his steps. However, he can't control his mind which drags him to try to look at her again. She was closing the door immediately. So, he just saw the closed door. He was gripping his hand tight and headed back downstairs. His friends said, "Dude are you falling in love again". He said, "No, I found her for our band". The girls said, "Hey, tell us the story first how do you notice her and where". He said, "As I told you, we meet at Portland station and also I get the next seat to her". The girl was looking at him as a bad guy by saying, "Oh, you did a trick right". He said, "No, I just change my seat with another guy". Ned said, "Don't we say so". He said, "Shh...don't get loud". The girls said, "She is not sleeping yet". He said, "I know but let's talk about this later". They said, "Duh..why don't you have sense".

They left in the common room while watching tv. He gets into his room and put his bag and guitar on his bed. And then, he took out some clothes from his closet and change it. At that time, someone was knocking on the door. He said, "Yes, come in". That guy was being Ned. Ned said, "I am coming here for asking you something". He said, "have a seat over there right next to the desk". Ned said, "Thank you and tell me now why are taking this girl to us". He said, "Should I explain over a thousand times?". Ned said, "it's not that". He said, "Then, what". Ned said, "I feel something dark inside her voice and I can't explain it but I have a bad feeling". He said, "Drink some and go to bed because we have a lot of work to do". Ned said, "Are you sure her background's clear". He said, "What else do we have to care about?". Ned said, "Alright, you are the leader and you know those things right". Zac said, "You don't need to teach me". Ned said, "Alright and take a rest now". Zac said, "I will". And then, Zac put a do not disturb sign on his door and close.
