Chapter 3

Nora asked, "Then, what next". She said, "the cop was calling someone to ask me many questions and show the photos". She continued, "I think they continue to investigate the area for getting enough evidence". Nora said, "So where did they take you to". She said, "They take me to the child care staff and I live at that center for a while". Nora said, "You must face hard times at young age". She said, "Yeah, I was nine years old". Nora said, "Jesus". She said, "Jesus never stay by your side whenever you need him". Nora said, "What about lord?". She said, "I was praying to him more than thousand times for save me from demon". Nora said, "Are you saying all those cause by demon". She said, "Yes, it's still here inside of me". Nora said, "No way". She said, "Yes, I know you won't believe me". She continued, "I lost my mind and act like someone else because of it". Nora said, "You learn to control it well at the hospital right". She said, "I am always trying to control it but in some case I lose control upon myself". Nora said, "Can you continue your story". She said, "Sure".

She was spending at the child care center during an investigation. Her mother came up there to see her and make sure of her condition. She was looking outside whenever she heard her mother's voice. But they didn't allow the child and mother to meet. It took more than a week. Then, the police released her. She was going back home and stay with her mother as before. But her mother scared her all the time. She noticed it well. Therefore, she ignored it and live like nothing happen. One day, her mother came home early and she is cooking in the kitchen for herself and mother. Her mother was getting into the kitchen without making noise. When her mother saw her, she is holding the frying pan and stir fry the vegetables. She was smiling like a fool. So, her mother was saying her name, "Rain". She was looking at there and see her mother. She said, "Welcome home". Her mother said, "What are you doing Rain?". She said, "I am cooking now for dinner". Her mother was coming closer to her and said, "Stop it and let me do it". She said, "What are you worrying about?". Mother said, "just give that". She said, "wait over there or have shower and come back later". Mother said, "Why don't you listen to me?". she was staring at her mother and said, "I am learning to grown-up". Mother said, "Okay then, I will shower now". She said, "I will prepare for your dinner now".

Drake was coming up to their home for meeting her mother. She was cooking for two of them. Suddenly, she heard the doorbell ring. So, she was going there for opening the door. She opened the door and see uncle Drake with flowers. She said, "Why are you taking flowers here?". Drake said, "Give it to your mother". She said, "Okay, come in and have a seat". He said, "Oh, smell nice what are you cooking now". She said, "I am stir-frying the cabbage with egg". He said, "Wow, you can cook". She said, "Yeah, I am spending most of the time by myself". Uncle drake was softly touching her hair from the back and said, "I know you are clever daughter of Mist". Her mother Mist Blanc was coming out from bathroom with towel. And then, she looked at her mother and shout, "Go to your room and change this outfit". Rain's mother hurried back into the bedroom for changing the clothes. Drake couldn't hold himself so he laugh out loud. Rain was glarring up to him by saying, "What's funny". Drake said, "You look like mother of Misty". Rain said, "My mom always does the same when stranger are in the house". Drake said, "Are there someone come to house?". Rain was looking at him with raise up her right eye brow and said, "Yes, the detectives who come here for locking up our aparment with police tape and take me away". Drake said, "Don't keep it in mind still". Rain said, "I try to forget this but I can't". Drake said, "Have you talk about this to your physician". At that time, Misty said, "She hate to go physician". Drake was looking at Rain's face and asked, "Why?". Rain said, "It cost too much and Mom can't handle that". Drake said, "Don't worry, uncle Drake pay everything for you". Rain said, "Cut it out, you worry about my mother not me". Drake and Misty looked each other and said, "Why you say that?". Rain was looking at them and said, "Seriously". Misty said, "You shouldn't tell like this to your mother". Rain said, "I am not the child anymore Mom". Misty said, "Okay, tell me what do you want to do". Rain said, "I want to end up discussion with psychiatrist and physician". Drake said, "You can't because investigators won't believe you and catch you back". Rain said, "If I spend my time at a psychiatrist's office, it's just a waste of my time". Misty said, "You should take the medicine and make a discussion with the psychiatrist normally". Rain said, "You think I can't get better like this". Drake said, "It's not what your mother says". Rain said, "So what". Drake said, "We all want the best of you". Rain said, "Okay, stop it right now and come and join us for dinner today". Drake said, "I am ordering the dinner today at Moroccana restaurant". Rain said, "Is that so go with him". Misty said, "Are you okay". Rain said, "I am fine". But Rain was gripping her hand tight and crack the plates down. Her mother heard the sound of cracking plates on floor. So, she headed back into the room and walk forwards to the kitchen. In the dining room, her daughter was cleaning up the floor with the broom. She said, "What happend". Rain said, "Go and date with him and don't worry about me". Her mother was hugging her tight in arm and said, "What are you saying to your mother?". Rain said, "You should find your happiness so I understand". Drake was waiting for her mother at outside the apartment. Her mother was walking up there and say, "Sorry let's stop it right now". Drake said, "Why". Misty said, "As you see, my child's not well enough to left alone at home so she needs me". Drake said, "You need to leave her some time to grow up herself". Misty said, "You don't understand".
