Chapter 28

Rain was seeing the black face in front of her for the first time. She asked, "Who are you?". That person wasn't answering her. She looked around the place but can't see any further. The room was getting dark and only the small light above the ceiling. The door and windows were closed tight and the room is filling up with smoke. She couldn't even see anything clearly just his face. He hadn't eyes, nose, and mouth. But she started to hear his voice clearly in the deeper side of her eardrums. She couldn't believe it because she just heard the familiar voice. She was reaching out to his face to uncover the truth. Then, she was shocked to see the real face of that man. She wanted to throw something to hit to disappear. But she couldn't move a bit. That person was staring at her with a blank face and moving slowly. She said, "Don't come up to me". She was shouting out loud and crying. But it kept moving up closer to her and grabbing her mouth. She was biting her lips with her teeth to shut them. It went into her mouth without her willingness to swallow it by opening her mouth. She was thinking why is this happening to me. That voice said, "You should ask your mother about what she does in the past". She was thinking, "My mother is dead and I have no chance to know about it". However, she tried to vomit it out by putting her finger into her throat. It didn't work actually. The truth was she wait for her mother to come back home as her childhood. However, the voice was saying the right thing. She was fighting with the demon soul in her brain. She said, "Leave me alone and I am the only one who allows you to get in at that time". The voice was laughing out loud by saying, "You want to do such a dirty thing with dirty thoughts with that guy". She said, "no, I need to focus on my job and a chance to live as a normal human". The voice said, "You aren't normal and you know that". She was growling by saying, "Don't talk when I speak to you". The voice kept silent after that. And then, she woke up. She looked around the place and see her band members around her. She asked them, "What happen to me?". They said, "We don't know". The sound director said, "Are you okay?". She said, "I am fine, and let's get back to work". The sound director and mangar said, "We think you should take a rest first". She said, "I am fine and I need to work". Then, they said, "Okay". The band opened the door and headed into the recording room. Afterward, they focused on the song lyrics and musical notes. Later, she was clearing her throat and raised her hand up to the outside to say she is ready. Then, the sound engineers and everyone in the studio started working. The sound director was supervising them all along the time. At last, they made it. When they went out of the recording room, their manager show their time schedule today. She said, "Do we have time for filling up our stomachs?". The manager said, "No". She said, "Alright then, what can you prepare for us". The manager said, "Hotdog, burger or something". She said, "Choose whatever you like and we will have it on our way to another destination". Their manager said, "Roger". They went out of the room and walked forward to the elevator. V was staying beside her and held her hand. She asked, "What happen to you V?". V said, "Don't scare us like this". Eve said, "Have you feeling unwell?". She said, "No, it's just a bad feeling that appears in my mind sometimes". Ned said, "Don't be like this again when we are on stage". She said, "I will try". Tim said, "Looks like she is getting nervous for the first time". Zac was following her without saying a word.

In town, Christina was heading to her past apartment again. This time, she met the strange shadows in the apartment. When she looked outside, there have dark clouds covering the whole sky. She felt the strange coldness in the apartment. So, she was heating up the room temperature and looking around the apartment as she ever did. She also did test the dark magic there for meeting her brother and sister-in-law again. She was placing the black candles and books on the carpet and also remove the carpet. There had the symbol she draw for calling their souls back. She wanted to ask them directly so she learn the dark magic. She was settling up everything and getting ready. Suddenly, she saw someone in front of her near the fireplace. She couldn't understand what is she really seeing now. She was following to watch the strange shadow. And then, the candles were lit up by themselves and the board is moving. She was looking at there and said, "What the hell?". Then, the strange shadow came up closer to her and she is steeping backward. She saw the awkward smile on that person's face. She said, "You are not my brother who are you". That person said, "I am the demon and you are dead". She was trying to escape from that room. But it was being too late. The inspector was heading there again because he see her head into the apartment building. When he was there, the door is open. So, he went inside and see her dead body beside the candles. He knew that he need to call to cop right now. But he didn't want to get the mess in his case. So, he ignored her and leave. The dead body was opening its eyes and mouth beside the candles. The board was moving. However, the inspector didn't see those things.

On the morning news, Rain saw the unbelievable face. Rain said to herself, "Why is she dying there?". After fighting with her soul, the demon's soul seemed like going back there. But she couldn't understand all those situations. She tried to close the tv and head back to her room. When she closed the tv with the remote, someone is standing behind her near the stairs. She glanced up there and see no one.
