Chapter 15

Rain was getting too tired at there so fell asleep in the backseat right next to Zac. V and Eve were talking about their performance today. And then, Tim was making a call to someone else. Mike was also holding the phone to answer. Zac was looking at Rain when her head lean upon his shoulder. He was moving her hair which cover her face. At that time, V saw his eyes are fulling up with passion towards Rain. Rain was sleeping well on his shoulder without notice the environment. V was trying to disturb this situation. But Eve was taking V's hand to say, "Don't disturb them". V had feeling on Zac since he was dating with lead vocalist. Zac never seen her as the woman because they are being the siblings from different parents. V's father was dating and marrying Zac's mother and they become a complex relationship. V was seeing him all the time as a man. So, she was trying to be brave once to confess her love to Zac. At the Princeton college, Zac didn't accept her love. But she still followed Zac all the time. After graduated from Princeton, Zac wasn't accepting the job and he jump to become a Rocker. When her father tried to tell him to choose wisely, Zac said, "We are adult now so we have right to choose the ways by our own and don't force your daughter too much". Then, Zac left that home. V was finding him everywhere after he left. Until she heard the sound of Zac at summer rock festival at LA. She was following Zac and his band since that time. And then, the lead vocalist accepted her to join in the band. The band needed the female drummer. Her skills and talents matched with their need. After Zac's girlfriend left him and get new boyfrend, she try to get closer to Zac. But Zac went on trip all over. When he went back to Seattle, the red hair girl is with him. V couldn't hide her madness anymore. While she held back, Zac kiss Rain's forehead. Then, she gripped her hand tight and shout up to him. Zac was looking at her by putting his hand on lips and said, "Shh...our goddess is sleeping". She was saying, "Why are you caring her too much?". Zac said, "She is new here and she ned help". V said, "Grhh...I can't understand the relationship between you and her". Zac said, "We are nothing but I interested in this mysterious girl". V said, "I see her in simple and traditional". Zac said, "she is different and she has many knowledge and experience". V said, "Stop acting as you know her". Zac said, "I don't know her but she had many more". Mike said, "I agree and we need to wait and watch how much our brand rated on online". Tim said, "Yeah". Ned said, "Sorry V, I can't stand by your side because they are right". V said, "Woah....so you guys are standing by her side". Ned said, "Yeah you even heard what the manager say right". V said, "Cut it out and I don't want to listen anymore". Then, she was grabbing the blanket out of her bag and hide her face under the blanket. Ned was driving the Ven carefully on the street full of street lamps.

Mike's girlfriend and stylist came to their group home and she cook for them at midnight. When they got back there, they were surprised to see her welcome message at the front door. She looked friendly. So, she wasn't treating Rain like a stranger at all. She and Rain were getting in touch like Eve and others do. So, V who was being the childhood friend of Mike can't stand to see them. V decided to break their good relationship somehow. And then, V got an idea. Mike saw V's weird face so he run-up to her and said, "Stop it and not today". Then, Mike was going to his girlfriend Jenny and take her to his room. Mike, Zac, Ned, and Tim were staying on the first floor and the girls were staying at the second floor. There had the attic right next to the Rain's room. Rain hasn't found it yet but she hears from Zac. Now, they saw Mike hug his girlfriend's waist and close the door. They understood they need to go to the dining room for finishing the midnight dinner. They were getting too hungry after performing on stage. The claps of people were making them feel full already. But they still needed to eat. When they all took their seats at the table, Rain said, "I feel not well so I will go upstairs first, I am sorry guys". Then, she left. Zac was looking at her again. So, V said, "If you want to take care of her, go ahead". Zac was heading towards Rain already. When she turned her face to Zac's chair, she see the blank space.

The band Manager Wallace was accepting the call from an unknown caller. The unknown dailer told him, "Do you know the girl tonight on stage?". The manager said, "I don't know who are you trying to say". The unknown dialer said, "The girl with red color short hair". The manager said, "Oh, the new vocalist of our band". The unknown dialer said, "She looks like Billie Elliot but I know it can't possible". The manager said, "Can you tell us yourself instead so I can tell you about her name?". The unknown caller said, "If I tell you, you will lose your mind". The manager said, "Rule is ruled, please tell me about your name, company name, etc first, and we will contact back later". The unknown caller said, "I am Jefrey Caig from Troy distrubution company". The manager kept silent. And then, the unknown caller said, "Can you please tell her name?". The manager said, "I am sorry Mr. Caig, I would like to ask you something first". Mr. Caig said, "What would you like to know?". The manager said, "Would you like to work with them?". Mr. Caig said, "What a fool question?". The manager said, "So, I must keep it as Yes". Mr. Caig said, "Take them to my office tomorrow and we will see". The manager said, "Yes, thank you for contacting us". After hung up the phone, the manager can't stop his excitement. That's the reason why he jumps like a monkey. And then, he said, "I must call them or call later". He said to himself, "Mr. Caig want to see them tomorrow so I must call them". When he called them, no one answered the call. Therefore, he kept calling the landline phone. And then, someone picked up the phone. The manager said, "Hello, it's Wallace, and who is there". That person was Mike. Mike said, "Mike's speaking, Mr. Wallace why are you calling us". The manager said, "You all get the big deal". Mike said, "Huh, explain it to me". Mr. Wallace said, "Do you know the Troy music distribution company?". Mike said, "Yes". The manager said, "I just get contact from the founder and CEO of that company and you all must go there and meet him tomorrow". Mike was shouting out loud, "What? is it true". The manager said, "Yes, it's true". Everyone came out of their rooms and head toward him. Mike was hanging up the phone and tell Zac about it. Zac's eyes was wide opening and said, "Oh, we did it". Rain appeared at last and she said, "Why are you speaking too loud at two AM?". Zac said, "We got the great deal Rain". Rain couldn't understand. But their faces were fulling up with smiles.
