Chapter 14

The Band went back home in the evening. And then, Mike called his girlfriend Jenny for remaking the clothes. Jenny was the designer and stylist who worked at the designer brand shop. She was learning to become a famous designer. After an hour, Mike's girlfriend arrives and they let her in. When she reached, she ask them about their new member. She already knew the size and styles of everyone. But she didn't meet a new member yet. At that time, Rain was in the kitchen. She tried to cook for herself because she can't eat the dishes prepared by them. The foods they ordered also don't match her. She was trying to make a simple cake with oatmeal and milk. Suddenly, someone got into the kitchen. So, she turned around and look. She saw Zac come up to her. She looked at him and said, "What else do you want here?". Zac said, "Our guest wants to see you". She said, "who?". Zac said, "You will see". She was leaving whatever she try to bake in the oven. And then, she followed him. When she stepped into the common room, she see the girl with brunette hair and a purple velvet coat and leather pant. She noticed that girl might be the designer or stylist. That girl saw her and walk towards them. Rain was stepping backward but that girl touch her hair by saying, "Marvelous, where do you find this beauty". They said, "What are you talking about?". After that, the strange girl was greeting to her. Rain said, "Your name is Jenny right". Jenny said, "Right, you can feel free to call me". Rain said, "Okay, why do you want to see me". Jenny said, "I am this group's designer so I must know your size and everything to create perfect for you". Rain said, "Thank you". Mike said, "Don't thank her because she can improve her skill by upgrading the old clothes for you". After having a conversation, Jenny did her job. And then, they went to the basement. Rain was taking out her oatmeal cake and smelled it. She didn't know Zac was around. When she tried to taste it, someone was shocking her. She was putting the cake back down on the table and looking at there. She saw Zac is standing there leaning on the wall. She said, "You scare me". Zac said, "What are you doing?". She said, "I am baking and it turn out perfectly". Zac said, "Can I taste it?". She said, "Sure". Then, he tried a bite of the cake with the fork. She was wondering about his answer. But he tried another piece. She said, "How is it going?". He said, "It's hard to explain but it tastes good". She said, "I know I can do that". Then, she cleared the plate with one bite. Zac was stunning to see her like this. She said, "What are you looking at?". He said, "Nothing, you eat little at a restaurant". She said, "I am not a small eater". He said, "Okay, let's go to the basement". She was following him and then she amazes by the scene down there again. They had the own studio for practicing music. They made it completely with the sound protective ceiling and etc. She didn't know about that much. While she stared upon those, V and Eve said, "Why are you standing there?". She said, "Nothing". Then, they started to practice the song which they choose to perform on stage tomorrow. They were spending the whole night.

In the morning, they woke up in the basement room. Rain was touching her head because it ache a lot inside. Zac was moving up to her by asking, "Aren't you feeling well". Rain said, "It feels like a woodpecker in my head". Eve said, "you should take enough rest after having breakfast". Rain said, "Can I?". Eve said, "THe lead vocalist's voice is the most important thing however we need to practice more to get perfect teamwork". V said, "We had time for that". Then, they gave the cracker and milk for her and let her go back to sleep. Rain was going upstairs full of worry. But she was falling asleep until the afternoon. When she woke up, they are still in the basement. Some of them sleep on the couches. They were worrying but they keep do for the best. They knew the new member had excellent skills but teamwork is the important thing to perform on stage. If they made mistake once, their fan and other rockers will say boo to them. However, they needed to make it happen by believing in her. She said, "Are you, believe me, Zac". Zac said, "I believe you more than myself". V looked at them and said, "Whatever she says you will trust her right?". Zac said, "We don't have a choice and you know that". Tim said, "This beautiful young lady will shine up bright like a meteorite star and you will see". V said, "Cut it out and let's take shower and have dinner before we go there". Eve said, "Don't lose your perfection Rain". Rain said, "Thank you, Eve". In that house, only Eve and Tim stay by her side. Zac was being her big fan because he highly believe and keep faith in her voice. Rain was feeling heavy to sing a song on stage because it isn't the same as she sang at the hospital among the patients. The patients there loved her song and lovely voice but the hospital staff tied her hands and legs. And then, they put her in a locked room. That locked room without a window and only white and unbreakable walls looked like a prison to her. So, she sang louder and louder to forget about what appeared in her mind. Even if she saw the white wall, she only saw the blood scattered all over the wall, ceiling, floor, and door. Now, those scenes appeared again so she thinks rock songs are the only way to cure her illness. She went upstairs and head to the storeroom which is the place she live. To reach her room, she was opening the storeroom door and stepped upstairs. There had tiny stairs in the room. Her room was existing at the end of the stairs. There had no door there. Only the shelves, closet, and the boxes. She was placing her stuff on those boxes and placing the cloth to cover them to create a better place to stay. But she still needed to clean the spider webs.

At Gogo club, every new rock band was entering to perform on Saturday night. The presenter and the host were practicing to announce the rock bands to the people who come up here to listen to the rock music. The new rock bands were writing down their band names and member names at the front place. The receptionist was recording all those records in the ledger book. The meteorite band arrived late but the receptionist and manager of Gogo club know them well. So, they let their band in. Their manager Wallace was talking with the Gogo club manager and then they headed to the dressing room. In the dressing room, many rock bands were wearing makeup and testing their guitars. When they went in there, the place was getting quiet. Zac noticed everyone's eyes on their new member Rain. Rain wasn't scaring them at all. She was being calmer than they think. So, they followed her to the corner of the room. There had a place left for settling down their guitars and wearing makeups. They all changed their clothes and remake them already. So, they didn't need to retouch it anymore. But Eve was focusing on every single thing on their coat, skirt and etc. They had the time to wait because they have to perform at the last of others. They watched the other bands leave the dressing room one by one. And then, they came back there and take their bags and leave. When the gothic band called Lacrymosa leaves, the leader Zac says, "Stay awake guys it's our time to perform the best". They were holding their hands and then they said, "Who we are, we are meteorites". And then, the stage manager came up to them. They said, "We are coming". This time was the first time Rain stood in front of the lights on the stage. Rain didn't have stage fear. When she saw the sea of people, she blackout once. At that time, the leader was holding her hand and said, "you can do it". Rain said, "Okay". Rain was holding the microphone and kicked the soundbox in front of her and start singing the rock song like she ever did. She was feeling like flames come out from her body and burning them down. She felt happiness at that time. She forgot everything at that time. when she stopped, everything including the flames disappear. But she heard the sounds of blowing whistles and clapping sounds from people. Zac said, "You did a great job". And then, they greeted the people and headed back down from the stage. At the door, someone was waiting for them. when they got closer, she see clearly that person's face. That person was being the band manager Wallace and he is smiling like a fool. She asked Zac, "Why is he turning out like this?". Zac said, "He was impressing to push you on stage Rain". She said, "Oh, I just follow my heart and release my stress". V said, "You are singing gratefully so everyone stun by your song". When they got near, Wallace run-up to her and almost hugged or hold her hand. Rain was stepping backward and hiding behind Zac. Zac said, "Don't be afraid, he just want to praise you". Wallace said, "What happen to you singing goddess". Rain said, "I just tire, Mr. Wallace". Zac said, "She may frighten to get the huge praise by the rock fans". Mr. Wallace said, "yes, yes and we get many sponsors now and the club owner wants you guys to sing here". Then, Mr. Wallace looked at her once again and said, "Thank you, goddess, for giving us the best advise". Rain said, "What are you talking about?". Mr. Wallace said, "We just shoot the video during the performance and upload it to the internet". V said, "Really". Mr. Wallace said, "Now, we need to wait for the viewers". Zac said, "So, we got a chance to notice by companies". Mr. Wallace said, "Yes, please take her back safely home". Zac said, "I will".
