Chapter 29: Departure

August Fredrick and Johnathan stood solemnly at the gate, their expressions betraying the unease they felt. Arthur, Casia, and the rest of the party were about to embark on a journey that filled their hearts with trepidation. Nearby, Celina's laughter rang out as she played with Garudax, who had taken on his smaller, less intimidating form. His scales shimmered like polished gems in the morning light.

Johnathan turned to Arthur, his brow furrowed with concern. "Are you sure you want to take Celina with you? The journey ahead is fraught with dangers."

Arthur's gaze softened as he looked at his little sister, who was now trying to clamber onto Garudax's back. "Yes, I'm positive. I've missed her too much to leave her behind again. Besides, with Garudax and Casia by her side, she'll be safe."

Johnathan sighed, though the worry in his eyes didn't dissipate. "If that's what you want, then I won't argue."
