Chapter 8: Flame Crystal

Lu Yin watched the scene unfold, randomly ordered two dishes; in times like these, being able to operate a restaurant meant having substantial backing. No one dared to cause trouble here. The prison camp soldiers patrolled every two minutes, clearly given special treatment.

"Your dishes, please enjoy," the waiter placed three plates in front of Lu Yin and left without looking back.

Lu Yin took a bite, furrowing his brow. It wasn't delicious, but compared to rat meat and mutant dog meat, it was much better. He took out the map and examined it while eating.

After a short while, a dozen figures entered the restaurant. The restaurant owner's eyes lit up when he saw them, "Young Master Kang, please come in. It's pouring outside. What would you like to eat? We can deliver it for you."

The man addressed as Young Master Kang nodded, sat at a table not far from Lu Yin, glanced at Lu Yin, and paid no further attention. He knocked on the table, "Bring him over."

With a loud crash, a figure was thrown to the ground, breaking a stool and trembling as they looked at Young Master Kang, "I'm sorry, Young Master Kang. I didn't know it was yours. If I knew, even if you gave me ten times the courage, I wouldn't dare to steal it. Please spare me this once, Young Master Kang."

Young Master Kang sneered, "Spare you? How can I lead my subordinates then? Do you know that the thing I gave to my uncle is gone? You have two choices now: either thirty energy crystals, or death. Choose one."

The figure despaired, "Young Master Kang, I really didn't know it was yours. Please spare me. I'm willing to be your dog. Spare me, please."

Young Master Kang slammed the table, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at the figure's head, "No crystals? Then goodbye."

The figure's gaze contracted, desperate cries escaping him. Suddenly, he saw Lu Yin not far away, raised his hand, and pointed at him, "He, he's the one I gave it to."

Everyone turned to look at Lu Yin.

Lu Yin put down the water cup, not saying a word. Since he entered, he had seen that the battered figure was the evolved individual who sold him the map. At that time, he had received three crystals and even got a bonus erectile dysfunction pill. He found it strange at the time since those pills were expensive. Now, it seemed that this Young Master Kang had lost one of the crystals, and it was the one that the thief gave to Lu Yin.

Young Master Kang stared at Lu Yin for a moment, then kicked the evolved individual named Xu San, "Daring to deceive me? Trying to fool me with anyone you find?"

Xu San frantically shouted, "It's true! It's him! He bought a map from me. Look, the map on the table is the one I sold him. There's a mark in the lower right corner."

Young Master Kang and the others looked over.

Lu Yin glanced at the map; indeed, there was a mark.

Young Master Kang and the others surrounded Xu San, "Brother, you took what you shouldn't have taken. Shouldn't you spit it out?"

"Get lost," Lu Yin replied nonchalantly.

Young Master Kang's face changed, and a dozen evolved individuals around him became angry, "Such a big temper. Do you know what Young Master Kang represents in Jinling? You, a kid, dare to provoke him."

Saying that, someone immediately made a move and reached for Lu Yin.

Lu Yin casually shot out a chopstick, piercing through the arms of several evolved individuals, finally nailing it to the wall. The wall cracked, and at the same time, blood splattered on the tabletop, accompanied by miserable wails.

Young Master Kang's face paled, hurriedly retreated, and the surrounding evolved individuals also stepped back.

The restaurant owner was shocked and directly ran out.

Young Master Kang pointed his gun at Lu Yin, "My uncle is the Thousand-Man Commander of the prison camp. Don't mess around. Hand over the thing, and everything will be fine."

"Throw it away," Lu Yin said indifferently.

Young Master Kang was extremely angry, "Shut up, or you'll know what it means to be desperate."
