Shallow
There’s no such thing as the erasure of guilt. One could accept and live with it while putting the guilt at the back of one’s mind. Forgetting was also not an option. One could try and forget it. However, when faced with the source of that guilt or something or someone connected to it, it would rise to the surface.
Between those two possibilities, the first one could torment the person every day depending on how buried that guilt was while the second one could torment and break a person when he or she remembered it after enough time passed.
In Coach Ayu’s case and because of my interference, she came to accept it.
Sometime later, I brought Sena inside the room, making it a three-way talk on what was going to happen to us next.
Because it looked like her guilt was about to overwhelm her again, Sena sat down at Coach Ayu’s side, assuring her that she was going to support her whatever decision she came up with.
