Reconnection *
"Miwa-nee, if you say that again, I'll get angry at you. I swear." I said in between my shower of kisses that she was not really resisting. My arms hooked around her waist as I pulled her closer. She was right, we had so much to catch up on, but it seemed like my body was already making its own demands. "This wasn't a scolding, mind you. I'm just expressing my bitterness that you think like that."
Miwa-nee's eyes closed as she melted into the kiss. Her body relaxed and her hand slipped up to the back of my neck, pulling me in deeper.
"... But I'm only telling the truth, Ruki."
"That's not how I see it."
I lightly bit on her lower lip in response to how she's still trying to justify it. Then slowly, I pushed her down on the sofa, my body following suit. The tea we were drinking earlier was left forgotten on the coffee table. We could still drink that later anyway.
