After a decent night's sleep Lin Feng made his way to Hunter Alliance building in Bo City in disguise and registered himself as a Basic Light Mage with no experience on the first day of the Summer vacation, of course he knew that the chances of him being hired right now and him becoming a Forbidden Mage instantly was the same, afterall what force was lacking Light Mages, possibly only Ancient Capital.

Even after he came third in the Elite Class, no force invited him, the directors and teachers simply congratulated his willpower and dedication and even Tang Yue was only interested for few minutes before letting him leave.

All he wanted to do was pickup some experience and a reputation in the next year so that he would either he hired directly or given an intern position below the main squad.

After Bo City more 2000 mages in the government, Magic association, clans and military. He had do something to stand out from these people.

The City itself had four Hunter squads one with the strongest Basic mages and the rest were Intermediate mages, in a place like Bo where there were only two Advanced mages this squad was among the best and he had no chance or intention or joining them.

The other three squads were his target, as they were entirely made of basic mages, even Mo Fan joined one of these squads and they even had salaries.

But he underestimated the market, there were about 50 Hunter squads in Bo and about 500 Hunters, City Hunters hired the best of the best and he didn't ruffle any feathers as a Tier 1 Basic Light mage

with no experience and moreover contrary to his expectations his hunter ranking was Trainee Hunter and not Novice Hunter.

Apparantly Mo Fan's lightning element allowed him to skip a level thanks to Xu Dahuang.

Lin Feng went back that evening disappointed but he would pop up in the office from time to time to build connections. EQ was quite important as well.
