Tatoonie Part 3 Skywalker trouble..

"So... you are not going to like this." Mace walked over. "She is missing. But not recently so, a month or so ago. Raiders came and tore the place apart. Everyone was killed, even the children." He eyed Alex intently. Searching for any outburst or any strange behavior. 'Watching the way he works is still troubling. Is the council right about him? Is he a danger to the force?'

If Alex felt off-put, it did not show on his face. Or he did not care. To many other things were pressing at this time. Inferna had done another scan of the area and found nothing.

"But not her. That is troubling." Alex took a knee and placed his hands on the ground. A few whispers played in his ear about what to do next. The force Deity told him to trust in the Force, but man was it hard when it did not really speak. But it did whispers. Which was really unnerving at first. So he went with it. "Mary, Balfour, come join me. Place your hands on my shoulders. Link your minds with my own."

"Scrrch!" The sand shifted from his touch and swirled around him a little more. The more he let go, the more it responded.

"Try not to leave your mind to vulnerable." XoXann added. She did, however, poised herself closer and spread her senses out just in case. 'A higher-level technique, why do you not do anything small first?' She thought amused. But seeing him push himself and those he trained excitied her. 'So close but so far.'

Balfour swung his rifle over his shoulder and moved over. It still looked odd on the young teenager. Placing his hand on Alex, he felt a warmth run through his body. Mary did the same, but kept her pistol in her left hand. Old habits died hard.

Linking togethor with the force, Alex guided their spirits out across the sands. As they more or less force travelled mentally, he made sure to guard against any outside probing. XoXann was right to remind him.

"Whisshh!" The longer they connected, the more sand moved around them. The planet was large and they had to search in one direction at a time. Basically combing the desert. Soon they found what they were looking for. Shmi Skywalker was in a hut.

"Umu.. something is beneath the sands." Balfour murmured. Alex felt the boy's mind started to wander towards what was below. "It is calling me." The area shifted for the three and brought them way across the planet to a cavern.

'Mission and training. Oh boy.' Alex thought. Soon, he felt a prickle of someone watching them. It was innocent and full of curiosity. Untrained mind that needed to be protected he thought. 'Stop looking little one, this is dangerous.' Alex thought towards it.

'Pbbla!' Whatever it was, babbled back. It understood well enough however and broke away from the connection.

"Yeah.. that does not mean answer." Mary said. Somehow she mentally knocked the boy on the head. Instantly his focus was placed back on the task at hand. "We are not here for whatever that is."

A little more probing and the target was found.

Deep in the desert that was well guarded by droids. As well as Tuskan Raiders. The strangest thing occurred. A force-sensitive creature?? not to far away pulse out a warning. Not tied to the light specifically, but influenced greatly by it. A very small portion of the dark side was in him. A type of mind control.

"Found you." Alex said softly. Mary and Balfour slowly pulled back off of him. Opening his eyes, Alex looked at all the sand floating around them. "Well shoot." He was not expecting it go so high up. Or gather so much.

"That is an understatement." Mace Windhu said. Hunter just smiled. He thought it was kool. "Alex you are surprising me by the day. The way you guided them was something worth seeing. And this.." Pointing at the sand that resembled a floating assortment of planets. ".. this is amazing. One of these days, I am going to pick your brain closer. Your aggression does not match the things you do."

"Ok." Alex nodded not quite understanding. The sand fell down all at once. He didn't know why there were planets or what it meant. "Where are the others?"

"Chish!" Inferna and XoXann were buried under a mound of sand. "Boom!" A large sand cloud spread out. XoXann was quite upset at having to blast her way out. She was almost seething looking at him.

"Oh, foolish one.." Inferna said in a sing-song voice. "Who is going to clean the sand out of my exhaust port?"

"Ummm I guess me." Alex pointed at himself with a shrug. "In my defense... actually why were you standing so close?"

"Protecting you." XoXann said lividly. Covered in the sand still, she tried to shake it out of her clothing. Alex thought it was funny and smiled. "You owe me a new robe. Next time, check your surroundings. Understood my Padawan?!"

"Right." Alex answered tersely. He really did not like the word. It was really weird for some reason. He waved his hand and sent a small breeze. It took care of the sand, and made XoXann hair bow out. "Wow, good look." Inferna felt enough of the sand blow out. But she had several sand scratches.

"Very funny." XoXann fixed her hair back and looked at others. "What?"

"Your hair looks really pretty." Balfour said mouth opened. Mary nodded agreeing.

"We should move on. If we are going to save her." XoXann turned away. She started to mumble a little. "Do not get to close to them. Do not develop feelings."

"Alright? guess we go by foot the rest of the way. Speeders will give us away." Alex said. the others nodded agreeing. "Any camouflage you can do their Teach?"

"Yes. But it will leave me vulnerable. Gonna keep me safe if shots go out?"

"Of course." Alex answered easily.

"Woom!" XoXann let out a blanket of force energy. Instantly the sand rose into the air making a large sand fog. near them, however? visibility was fine.

"About a 1/4 of a mile wide." Alex nodded in approval. "This looks like a sandstorm to the naked eye from the outside." He watched as Alex picked XoXann up into a piggyback ride. "Shouldn't Inferna carry her?"

"Need her for gun support. Let's move." Alex shot off with the others following along.

Mace and Dooku carried the others in a makeshift blanket supported by the force. Mary kept pace next to Alex for training. Her Rakghoul instinct made the force enhanced running extremely easy. Balfour kept watch with Inferna.

-Bandit Camp-

Droids outside the perimeter of the village. But inside a group of Tuskan raiders laid in wait.

"Are you sure Kobak?" A very large Tuskan Raider asked. The smaller one joust nodded agreeing. "Then lock the place down. The buyer will be here in a few days. Losing our cargo now would be stupid. Make sure none escape this time."

"Of course Deshiek." Kobak bowed three times before backing away. Once he was a few feet from his leader? he sprinted like mad. 'Perfect time for me to leave. Need to use storm to cover my tracks. This tribe is done for. He is fooling no one.'

"Drroom!" The communication next to Deshiek went off. Turning it on? He watched the hooded figure appear on screen. The mouth only visible as he spoke.

"Esteemed buyer? How may I help you?" Deshiek voice was full of praise and bootlicking. "I have what you want. All safe and secure. Lost a lot of the tribe? But anything for you."

"Good, good. That is what I like to hear." The hooded figure said smiling. "I need him to arrive just in time to watch his mother get away from him. Your payment will be delivered after you complete this for me."

"Of course esteemed buyer. Of course." Deshiek wanted to ask for an advance, but left it alone. No reason to get involved with the psychopath anymore than needed. "You will also provide escape off-planet yes?"

"As long as you do what is needed!" The cloak figure said a little angrily. The communication then cut out. He had to deal with another meeting. 'Things have been hard since the death of Dooku. No matter, that spy I have will deal a heavy blow to the Republic soon enough.'

"High Chancellor Palpatine, it is time." An aide stepped into the room. A few minutes earlier and she would have caught him in the act. Which was a blessing. A good way to get cut down was by seeing something you shouldn't. "The others are really nervous sir."

"Very well." Getting up, he made sure to turn off the communicator. No need to have a small mix up ruin things. "It is not like one lost planet, would be the end of the Republic."

-Nightfall-

"Ugh, that was a doozy." XoXann felt she was held by someone. Looking at Alex beneath her, she could even feel the heat radiating through his armor. 'So many side effects to the programming. Should I contact my contact on Kamino's about him to? No, my body failing is enough of a headache to deal with.'

"Your back with us. That was pretty awesome how the storm moved with us. You have to show me that trick one day." Alex didn't really move from his spot. He didnt know how long it would take her to have control fully again. "The sand storm is still raging. A side effect of the time you focused on it?"

"Yes. It should last another hour or so. Then the force energy will dissipate on its own by then." XoXann said. She was feeling the backlash. Alex noticed it, and grabbed her by the arm. "What are you doing?"

"Checking something." Transfer a little force energy through her, he found something off. A small type of "poison" inside her. "Force Cleanse." In an instant like a knot coming undone, she felt relief. "Much better now right?"

"Yes. Your learning quickly. That ability is something else." XoXann smiled happily. "It will come back though. It always does."

"When you feel it is ok.." Alex stood up and whispered in her ear. "..tell me what is going on. Ok Mistress XoXann?" She gave a slight nod and meditated to center herself. Addressing the others, he told them the updated timeline. A small discussion before they move out.

"Jedi must only ignite his lightsaber when he must take a life." Mace said. "I always thought that rule was silly. But this will work well enough. Do not tell anyone." He spoke to both Alex and Hunter. "Try to disable them first."

"Of course Master Mace." Hunter said. He had a broad smile on his face. In his hand was a holdout blaster. The other held a whip? of sorts.

"Right... disable.. with a shot to the chest? And a slash with my lightsaber? Defintely disable them. Of the permanent type." Alex rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Gonna try knockout techniques. Or.. sleeper holds. Hear to that."

"Alex, when this over, we need to go over the more subtle skills in the force." Dooku said from the side. He had nothing in his hands and a new mask covering his face. His sister, Jenza had a rifle and the same mask on. "Delicate touch."

"Right.. delicate. I suck at that." Alex lamented. Eyes lighting up in the force, he spotted the Tuskan Raiders inside and the droids electric field amongst the sand and night. "Get Shmi and the others out of there. The distraction is up to me."

"You can not go alone." Inferna stated.

"I have to. Something "special" is up. Keep Mary covered as well as Balfour." Alex channeled the force and cleared his mind. Slowly whispers fed him new guidance as the darkness wrapped around him. "You have your orders. Now go."

"Fwip!" Just like that, Alex was gone from sight. He wanted to travel with his team, but a quest came up.

(Move way from the others: Travel independent under the cover of night. Special Condition: Force Invisibility temporarily available)

'No rewards or penalty. This cannot be good.' Alex felt a strange presence outside the area. It was watching him. Defintely made him pissed off. 'Ugh, just save Shmi and change Anakin's fate. Defintely will disrupt the entire galaxies' future. Unless someone else takes his place.' Thinking it over, Alex wanted to scream. 'I need to find the others soon.'
