Space.. and the Force

"Take deep breaths and try to sense everything in the room Mary." Alex said softly. It was only the two in the room. Well, his "shadow" as well of course. Mary was not performing as well as she should. Her meditation was plagued by night terrors. "You are in a safe place, I assure you."

"Ughh, I am trying master. But, I keep seeing that creature." Mary had broken out into a deep sweat the moment you dived deep enough. "She will consume you. I just know it!"

"If she does, she does. No need to worry about it." Alex walked behind and placed his hands on her shoulders. "What you refer to as creature, is another Force entity at this point. She has done and had a lot done to her. But you can not judge her so easily. Not without understanding. There is much to understand."

"But she cannot just eat you!" Mary opened her eyes angry. She turned to look at Alex who had a peaceful expression on his face. "Your so calm!" She pouted. It looked adorable on a grown woman. Even Mary who was always so serious and in control.

"No, you are just excited. Where is all the strength and confidence you had as a Rakghoul? Is it gone already?" He is eyes searched hers closely. He could see the fear growing stronger in her. A small door way to allow the Dark side to consume had been opened. It was not closing shut any time soon. "You fear the unknown that is smart. But do not become consumed by it."

Mary suprised Alex next. She grabbed his hands intimately. Her feelings washed out through the Force Bond. The fear had been building for a while. Way before Abeloth arrived. Or Dienerin as they knew her. It was not Alex's place to tell her identity. That is the name she chose so he will honor it.

"I do not want to die by your hands. I do not what to die by the hands of someone from the Pack." Mary visibly shook. "Can you promise me that?" Tears welled up in her eyes. "I do not care about someone on the battlefield ending me. That is to be expected. I just do ot want one of ours..."

"I promise. I will make sure you live. But you have to be careful. Saving your life that way will change in ways you can not comprehend currently. A scar on your soul that may drive you mad. Still want that?" Mary nodded griping his hands tighter. "Alright then. You were warned."

Alex touched a spot on his wrist to bring the ship to a full stop. It was time for them to leave Hyperspace for a bit anyway. The crew was to run several drills while doing so. An orbit was designed to make sure the ship didn't drift to much.

"Babump! Babump!" The two hearts aligned as they entered a deep meditation. As their connection grew in the Force, a Force Gate open. Both were taken inside. Well all three. For his shadow did not leave.

-Deep Space ??-

.

"Where are we?" Mala asked exiting his shadow.

"The Force I guess you could say. Shit is really hard to understand at times." Alex had grin on his face. The two stared at him slightly perturbed. "With a little focus you can sense the ship and the crew. But that is not why we are here. That is." Alex pointed to a derelict ship drifting.

A large Monstosity of a thing. Even disrupted and broken down it still had a bearing influence. From their location, Mala and Mary could feel the Dark Side it emitted. The ship was alive in a way.

"I do not like this thing!" Mala hissed. She moved closer to Alex since it was safer. Mary was transfixed. "Stupid Pack leader will get herself killed." Mary strated float towards it. Alex did not stop here at all.

"If she wants death so badly. Let her." Was all he mumbled.

"Eh!" Mary floated back quickly. "You were just going to go let me die!?"

"Who the hell told you to float off before I told you what it was. Dumbass." Alex chastised the woman. "That is a Star Forge. It is what Christian was wanting Moon to tell him about. What he didnt know, was that Marc knew the whereabouts of them all. Well in this sector anyway."

"Something like this should have been destroyed. But it looks to be repairing itself." Mala said after looking closely. To the side, a force spirit manifested by Mary. It started talking to her before entering her.

Alex was to distracted to notice. With mary not struggling, he couldnt feel anything untoward happening. If she did resist, that would have been a different story.

"Correct. it has the ability to do that." Alex nodded at her observation. "Seperated, scattered about and drifting in the Force and natural space has taken its toll. But it still lives. Only way to end it, would be to disable its power source. That is difficult since the damn thing eats stars and whatnot."

"How do we end something like this!?" Mary asked alarmed. Seeing Alex shake his head, she could scarcely believe what he wanted to do. "You want to use it, are you mad?!"

"Trying to end a war and prepare for another war. While having to deal with several opposing parties. While also making sure you all live." Alex scoffed at her. "Now your ready to back out, pathetic." His tone was harsh but it needed to be. After everything she said and he felt from her, she should be happy about something like this. "If you cant deal with it, don't worry. I will do it myself only."

Alex reached into his inventory pulling out the last good item he had. A Polarity Shifter. It could turn one object from the dark side to the light side based off the User. Or vice versa. Since Alex had a much larger Dark Side, he was desginated as a member of the Dark Side.

"Ping!" A large wave of energy shot from his hands ad the device. All across his arms, burn marks appeared to his shoulders. The Star Forge was hit and slowly collapsed in on itself.

"Well.. shit. That was not supposed to happen." Alex grumbled. All the debris sucked in as well as force energy. It expanded back out. No bigger than a shuttle. "Tch! Of all the blasted waste of an item."

"Vrrr!" The shuttle vibrated and disappeared into Alex. He could feel it nudge against something inside of him.

Deep inside Alex the shuttle floated across from the Pyramid. The blue and white lines from the temple shot towards the Star Forge shuttle. As well as a little green force energy.

(It does not like your attention Alex.) The Force Deity thought to him. In moments he appeared in front of the three. His robes looked to be brighter. As well as his presence. It gave off a more peaceful disposition. "You may have mean well, but that does not always matter."

"Master, who is he?" Mala asked defensively. Something about the obvious man left her unnerved. As if she met him before in a very bad place.

"One of my bosses.. you could say." Alex shrugged. "Defintely seems to have my best interest in mind when he feels like it of course."

"I am hurt Alex." The force deity actually looked pained. But hard to tell with the cowl obscuring most of his face. "Business first. You must be careful on Naboo. A war there will cause problems .."

"Do not care." Alex cut him off. "I am gonna go there and try to save a few people. If it doesn't work, getting ghosted. See the small group I have? How the hell do you expect me to win a war with it? Let alone the big ones coming. Gonna go there, try to broker a little peace. Tell the Separtisit to back-off. If they dont, gonna start killing. If that doesn't work, leaving. Let Naboo burn for all I care."

Alex's eyes shine golden as the Dark Side played at his mind. It caused him to say what he felt. But no other control was present. With a flex of his will the Dark Side was wrapped around his control. The force Deity was greatly troubled by that. Alex was leaning to the Dark Side again. Exactly what he didn't want.

"Haa that is troubling news. But Kamino has an army for you." A female voice came from the surroundings. A woman dressed in black robes identical to the man's appeared. Alex felt his body come to life. As if the woman was a long lost friend of his. Despite her darker nature, he was more inclind to trust her than the other. "Greetings, it good to meet after all the trouble he caused." She turned to the other as if to declare his triumph.

"We should go Alex." Mary said. She did not like the feel of the woman. She was just a tad bit lower than the woman from her nightmares. But unlike the other from said nightmares, she could feel this woman wanted Alex to embrace something. Something more natural that fit him. "I am sure the others need us back."

"I agree with mary for once Master." Mala said shaking. She was greatly against the woman more than the man. "In fact, I believe Inferna calling you right now." She grabbed Alex, hand pointing to his communicator. "See beep beep."

"Ahahaha ok. we will. Leave. Another time then." Alex laughed towards the two deities. Seeing Mala try a joke was to funny to him. her serious look coupled with the red eyes was to much. "Later poozers."

"Bwooom!" The Force Gate pulled the three back.

"See... he belongs with us." The woman said. "When are you going to realize it?"

"Never. His emotions were just charged is all." The man shook his head in dismay. Agitation towards Mary for faltering passed in his mind. But Mala was still there to help keep Alex grounded. "The boy Balfour.." He stopped realizing it would be to much to soon for him. ".. no. He is still to young." Feeling his counterpart grab hold of him, he calmed instantly. "They are very important to our survival. I do not want you to die or me dying."

"If we die, we die. I am more interested in what will happen to him in the future. Especially if she dies again. I rather not see it. But I really want to see it." Her lips curled in a smile. "The Dark Side that would awaken in him, would be beautiful."

"Haaa, true but the pain afterward would be to much." The man sighed. His breath causing his counterpart to look him the eyes. Seeing the Dark Side veins receding, she was suprised. "What is it?"

"You are turning more to yourself. How can that be?"

"Alex must be ok then. Or... someone near him has dived deeper into the light side." The man rubbed his face knocking his cowl off. If Alex saw this he would be very alarmed. Even more alarmed at the woman's natural face.

-Ship Quarters-

.

Time went slowly in the Force in this area. When they returned, half a day had already passed. Several messages were waiting for Alex. Supringsly had a message from Inferna. She was quite upset. As he responded to each of them, Mala and Mary had settled back into meditation.

"Huh?" Alex turned to Mary who was glowing Golden. The pure light side energy caused Alex to stumble. "Another one?" Mala was glowing as well. But hers was that of the typical glow. A bluish white force energy wrapped around her. 'I should leave them to it.'

"Doop!" The door mechnism locked.

"What the hell?!" Alex called over the comms next. "Hey, do we have a malfunction on this deck?"

"Nope. Everything is running smoothly. The sensors detected a large build up of Force Energy where you are. This ship is amazing Alex!" Balfour was very excitied. "The numbers are rising. What are you doing?"

"I am not doing jack. It is Mary and Mala. Why can't I get the door unlocked?" Alex tapped the controls frustrated. he was really tempted to cut it open with his light saber. But that would be stupid.

"You can not leave Master." Mary said cooly. Her bright shining eyes blinding Alex. Mala joined suit. The wrapped him with Force energy trying to expel the darkness. But nothing happened.

"I told you nothing would happen. He is not controlled by the Dark Side." Mala smiled.

"Sorry I doubted you." Mary had a self-deprecating smile. She was ashamed for not believing in Alex. "The Force Spirit I talked with, said he showed the signs."

"What force spirit!?" Alex demanded. He was slightly irked at the actions of the two. They would receive a lecture later. Slowly a woman appeared in front of Mary. "Oh you bitch!" Alex cursed.
