Sith Temple ?? Part 1

One of the Quests that showed up lead to A Sith Temple on the planet. A really old one that had ties to something old. Something that Alex needed to meet with. It also had to do with the Hutt. I had been a few days to get to here. The others were given the other to hunt down the bounty hunters and slave traders. Their orders were to kill them and bring the bodies to Alex. They did that easily and returned with the spoils in two days.

The slavers were sending the bodies off-planet. Providing them for some people that were up to know good. Someone practicing Sith Alchemy on a whole new level than Alex ever read or heard about. One of the reasons his forces came back, was due to the intel. The possessed were heading back to the temple.

"Are you sure about this?" XoXann asked. "The chances of you getting influenced is high."

"Yes. Anakin needs your help controlling his urges. I need to take care of something. As for everyone else, I want you all to make sure this threat is taken care of now. Help set up a perimeter and take any stragglers that may show up." Alex was listening to the whispers of the temple. "Possessed people... ugh."

"I think it best we apprehend them." Mace Windhu said.

"I can not stop you from trying. My people are not taking that chance. Kill those who try to kill you. That simple." Alex told them. They nodded agreeing easily. Mace and Obi-Wan could not agree to that. But Alex's group was not part of the Jedi Order or an extension of it. "I cannot wait anymore. Inferna the speeder controls are yours to handle."

"Bbbll bpptl!" The little Hutt bounced around his back. Rolo seemed to be tired from the ordeal over the last few days..

"You are coming with me you little brat." Alex said over his shoulder. "Mary and Balfour, do your best to stabilize your mind. This is the first time you have been around something like this." Mala left his shadow to fight with the others as needed.

"I can assist them if you like?" Qi-Gon said. "Or would it be best if I help the others?"

"Help the others. That seems better till you recover yourself."

"Vrooom!" The speeder shot off. Inferna drove it with ease. Alex was behind her trying to keep his focus.

Dooku drove the other speeder as they went. His sister Jenza was not happy about staying behind. Dooku smiled as they rode. It had been a while since someone generally showed concern for him. The knowledge Qui-Gon was alive made him even more cheerful.

Alex kept note of it, he did not have the heart to tell the man without the interference of himself and others, he originally kills her.

"So much going on." Alex mumbled.

"What was that oh foolish one?" Inferna asked. She turned her head completely around to notice him. Alex forgot she was a droid at times.

"I forget you a Droid at times. You better not crash this thing." Alex said. He kept his eyes forward and was happy nothing was in the way. "Your speech and movements are to convincing. You are not a spirit trapped inside by chance?"

This would be an absurd question back on earth. But in Star Wars, where people can get possessed and all types of dark technology out, she very well could be.

"No, I am not some spirit "trapped" in a body." The way she said it made Alex want to question her. He never got the chance to. "The sun is getting to you. I think we need to speed up to our destination."

"Vroom!" She opened the engines up wider to speed up. Alex gripped her tighter to keep from flying off. The little Hutt was having the time of its life. Dooku kept pace but did not stay to close. In case Alex spun out, he rather not crash.

-Temple Grounds-

"I really do not want what happened last time to happen again." Thinking about the Rakghouls, he gave a silent prayer. "No Rakatta, no Rakghouls, no traitor Jedi."

"I am sure those are not inside." Dooku said. He was not to sure himself. Shaking his head, he waited to see how they would get in there. "You sure we should not have brought the others?"

"Oh, I defintely think we should have. But can only take so many. Inferna is a must for technical aspects. The little Hutt had to come since he found the damn place. At least I think. You are the most sound mind and last but not least, it is my task." Alex said plainly.

Walking over to the door he placed his hand on the outside pedestal.

"Dark Core detected. Opening." A Ghastly voice said from within. Dooku's eyes went wide but he hid it well under his cowl. Inferna opened up her canister and replaced the fuel on her flamethrower. She turned on her rear lights and front lights

"Yup.. we are going to so run into something bad." Alex turned his chest light on his armor, for safe measure he turned on his lightsaber. "I do not want to fail at this. So let's go in confidently."

The Temple was old and very weird. The old stone looked more metallic than rock. But the dust from his hand along the side made it true it was actually stone. Up ahead an echoed could be heard. A type of slithering sometimes. And on others a type of scratching.

Inferna recorded everything as they moved. Rolo fell asleep as soon as they entered. That just left Alex and Dooku to talk about things. Namely what happened to them during the search of the slaver compound.

-A few hours later-

"I think something is coming." Dooku said. His lightsaber ignited ready for battle. "I think this might have been a bad idea.."

"Ugh." Alex felt a buzzing in his head. "Yeah, it is. But necessary." Alex charged forward lightsaber ignited. Inferna behind him ready to provide support. "We have to go forward, unfortunately."

"Kaaaa!" A hissing came out from the darkness.

"Pew!" Inferna fired a precise shot out into the darkness. The blaster fire lit the way revealing a large creature. Metallic and the metal was segmented. The force revealed the info to Alex. The creature was Raen sovra, or the electrocution worm. Living flexible metal that fed on electricity and metal. The shot stunned it for a second.

"Placed as jailers or just trapped here?" Alex as he jumped forward. Using Force push, he stalled it as the tendrils came at him. His lightsaber cutting it into pieces as he moved to the bloated metallic body. "Inferna keep your distance at all times."

"Understood." Inferna opened fire on the next source she detected pass Alex. She felt his tone was serious, so she did not joke at the time.

"More are coming from above." Dooku said. He was about to use Force Lighting but stooped himself. Instead he set the area on fire. "Hot enough fire can melt these things. Something else to teach you Alex."

"Fwooosh!" As he fired a flamethrower from his palm, Dooku burned the entire top half. He charged forward with Alex to get through the next area.

"Vrrmm!" Alex cut the Raen sovra with three cuts to the center. Once it was dead it was stored in inventory. The next two were met with Dooku and Alex cutting at the same time. The path they cut was quick and brutal.

"Pew!" Inferna fired at the exposed area. "Pew Pew!" The next two shots caught one blocking a door way.

"Vrrrmm vrrrm!" Alex threw his lightsaber clearing the ones coming from the side. "Scrrrch!" Taking control of the spinning lightsaber. He moved around as a ranged attack cutting the place apart. Dooku pulled the down Raen sovra into the air before they could recover fully. "Pew Pew Pew Pew!"

Each of them recived one blast shot at the center.

"Hold them clustered!" Inferna empties the canister as she poured a concentrated burst of flame above them. As the bodies burned, the group moved into the door.

"Haa that was fun." Alex sighed. the door closed behind them instantly. "This, however, is not..." inside the room the door showed several distorted drawings. Scratched out images of a woman and what looked to be children. But the children were larger than her. "What kind of cocka maney b.s. is this?"

"I do not know." Dooku answered. He starts looking around the room and stopped at some writing. "The language here is to old. Way to old."

"Hmmm here... lies... sealed... .... ... for..." Alex read it over slowly. "I can not read this last part. Something about her power blah blah blah."

"That is not helpful." Inferna answered. She scanned everything in the room archiving it away. She turned to see Alex at a door that showed a chained woman. Her attention did not see the stalking Raen sovra coming to life from her passing by. "Is that the next place to go?"

"Yeah it is." Alex felt the disturbance and shot threw his lightsaber like a javelin. "Get down!" Inferna rotated and opened fire will bending backward.

"Pew!" Her blaster firing making a small hole. The lightsaber going right into the new hole. "Schk!" With a pull, Alex jerked his lightsaber around cutting the creature apart.

"Crrrckk!" The door behind Alex opened. Dooku shot forward striking at another Raen sovra. "Sching!" He cut right through in one strike. However, something weird happen.

"Pak!" Raen sovra behind that one stabbed Dooku in the side. It masked its presence with its ally.

"Humpf!" Dooku snorted and used the last of his strength to push forward with a burst of fire. "Sniving creatures!"

"Fwwwoooshh!" The fire burned through the hallway. Turning them into molten slag.

"Chink!" Up top something released.

"Shit!" Alex cursed as he moved forward grabbing Dooku. Inferna following behind. "Try not to breathe for a bit. Some type of gas."

Alex activated Force Apex to get through the place faster. As Dooku healed himself, he took care of any Raen sovra that showed up. It was a bad strategy but he needed to get furthur through. Inferna was already on her last charge pack as they moved.

"Up ahead to the left." Inferna said after a quick scan. "Alex I believe it is an exit of sorts." Reaching the small area, Alex felt a twitch from furthur to the side. A slight whisper alerting him.

"Alright." Alex stopped and saw that Dooku was alright. However, he could see the black lines of the Dark Side taking over. "No freaking way. What happened?"

"I errored a little. I lost my temper when it stabbed me. Then I could feel the Dark Side pull at me. It was stronger than anything I felt before." Dooku said sadly. "I have never felt anything like it. Even when dealing with Darth Sidious."

"Head through here. I think it will help you get out." Alex said. But it was more of an order. "I should have thought about this more. This is my mistake. Hmmm." Turning he could see some movement down the passage. "Go now!"

"I will help hold them off." Dooku shook his head. " No way I leave you two to deal with this."

"Pew Pew Pew Pew Pew!" Inferna fired full-auto in the distance. Alex could feel the change in Dooku from the side. Then he smelt something in the air.

"Go now. Their is a gas in this place. I am fine somehow. But not you." Alex wrapped the stubborn man in the force and sent him through the opening. It caused Alex a good bit of his strength, however. "Can not treat him like the regular Dooku. His emotions are all over the place with what is going on."

"Alex!" Inferna called. Alex turned to see a very large Raen sovra moving. Resembled more of a bloated slug than anything. Inferna opened her chest plate and opened fire. "Rockets away!"

"Fwoosh!" The rockets smashed into the slug. But did not detonated fast enough. The blast was swallowed whole before it gained any real momentum.

"Raaah!" Alex swung with all his might. He felt a sense of dread wash over him. The slug had turned to Inferna with renewed interest. "She is not food!" Alex tried to return Inferna to his inventory but failed. She resisted him. "Go back."

"No. I will not let you fight this thing alone." Inferna overclocked her processors. She pulled a piece of the wall and threw it at the slug. "Remember what I said before, oh foolish one."

"Scrreee!" Raen sovra slug let out a screech from the stone smashing into it.

"Fine!" Alex grumbled. Cutting across the slug's mid section proved good in a way. The entire stomach contents opened up. A few corpses dropped out. "Those are human bones... that makes no sense. Unless something .."

"Fwip!" The slug smashed Alex across the chest. "Scrrch!" Alex slid back a little. Hitting the wall, he pushed off and slashed out three times. Each cut taking a piece off and sending it to the side.

"Pew!" Inferna fired her last shot. It went pass the slug and down the corridor.

"You missed?" Alex asked. He jumped back from another strike. His knees giving out slightly. Force Apex had run out. He was weakened even furthur. "Ha.. ha.. that was not good."

"I did not miss." Inferna said. "More are coming down the hall." Her arms refitted for melee combat. "Get ready for trouble." Turning she saw Alex's labored breathing and the Hutt sleeping soundly. Protocols activating immediately.

"Right." Alex pushed the last of his energy to his legs and arms to fight. "Ha!" Striking out again with his lightsaber he misjudged the amount of energy he had.

"Scccrrch!" The lightsaber cut down the Raen sovra. Alex felt forward into the remains. The metallic bones from one of the people cut him across the chest.

"Ughh." Alex got up fast enough and placed the remains in his inventory. "Huh?" Inferna picked him up and threw him into the door behind. "Woah! What are you doing?"

"My job." Inferna smashed the mechanisms by the door. "Bye oh, foolish one."

"Bzzt!" The door closed shut as Alex watched several Raen sovra come down the hall.

"Damn it." Alex cursed. He got up to try the get the opened. "Wake up you little Hutt."

"Go to bed Alex. Nothing to be done." Rolo said sleepily. "Doku is fine. He has made it to the exit. You need to focus on what is going on with you."

"What do you mean?" Alex asked as he searched the chamber. "I do not have time for this." A quest had popped up.

(Mission: Survive the trial. Rewards: Vary)

Alex looked up to see a force spirit had formed. It stared at Alex hungrily. It looked to be a twilek male at one point. But slightly deranged.

"You loose, and your body is mine." The force spirit said.

"Uh huh... you have really picked a bad time Rolo." Alex felt the dark core inside stir. It was hungry. "I do not have time for this. If you think my body is that easy, go ahead and try me." Alex sat down and started to meditate. His dark core went dormant as the light side one came to life more.

"Die!" The force spirit charged at Alex.

"There is no peace.." Alex hand moved in a waving motion. He then turned his hand upside down in an offering gesture. The room churned with force energy. The spirit jumped on Alex and entered his body. It was instantly ripped apart and almost turned into nothing. "..only the trial of life.."

"Ahhh!" More force spirits appeared. This time two jumped at Alex. He kept his concentration and continued to commune with the light side of the force. Rolo trilling happily at his choice. He thought Alex would consume them to grow stronger.

"..trough the force, I gain victory and faith.." Alex's body shined in a blue white light. His light core growing bigger.

As the minutes passed, more and more appeared. Alex sent them each on their way. However, the process was painful for the spirits. They went through pain from succumbing to the dark side. But it allowed them to return to the light before becoming one with the force again.

After the spirits were all released, the door opened and Alex walked through in a daze. Rolo on his back already falling asleep.

- Welcome

Alex woke up dazed and confused. He had know idea what was going on but he rembered sending a bunch of spirits on their way. He was not alone. Not counting Rolo, a woman was in front of him.

"Umm floating lady with a nice mouth.." Alex started to say. He stopped when he saw the hands. "Great tentacle hands. I was not expecting tentacle rape to happen in here. Not at all. Nice eyes by the way."

"You are not disgusted by me?"

"Lady I have seen weirder shit in porn and more horror movies than what is natural." Alex said smiling. He was trying to remember who she was, but did not or could not figure it out. To many people and different things in the world. "The amount of stuff that turns me on sickens even me. So you here to kill me?"

"No." She floated around and looked him over. Seeing his focus mostly spent in containing his wound she smiled. "I can heal that right now for you."

"The price is what?"

"Umm the Hutt on your back."

"Can't. I am his.. babysitter slash master. So no. I can probably get you a sand baby. Actually a few. I just dealt with an attack by them and some other things. Gather them all up and bring them here to this.. what kind of place is this?"

"That is not important." She shook her head and stared at him. Alex felt the mind probe, he didnt resist. The wounds were more important. "You were chosen by "them" how nice." Her eyes were slightly longing for a moment. Then a flash of craziness pass by. Her eyes darted around.

"So.. why are you here? It does not look like a tomb. More like a cage maybe. Great another crazed something or another. I do not want to do another trial." Alex surveyed the walls and could see a lot of fighting had gone on. Not recently. 'I swear this looks just off.. Stupid quests.'

"Loneliness makes one crazy!" She turned to yell at him. Instantly force energy formed around her maw of a mouth.

"Boom!" The force wave was so strong it made a sonic boom. "Chhish!" Alex blocked with his lightsaber as best he could. His other hand, held on to the stone floor to keep him from flying back. She was way more powerful then he could deal with. Even if he used Force Apex and was fully healed.

"Calm the fuck down! Crazy lady!" Alex yelled back. He was suprised the Hutt was still asleep. "You trying to kill us!?"

"No!" She stopped her outburst. Looking down like a scolded child, her tentacle hands smacked the ground. "If you die I am by myself again. I do not want that. Do not want to be alone. It is dark sometimes. To dark."

"Ha...ha..ha.. that.. is good." Alex shuffled over trying to catch his breath. He gave up and just layed on his stomach. "Sleep."
