Two-years had passed since the battle against the Remnant Government, the pilots had managed to chip away at the new land that'd covered the W.P.S.B, by the lasers. In the two years since ODTA went quiet, most of the pilots spent their time at Bertas' an old bar that the Ghost and Busch Hunter frequented during their time before the nuclear fire ended the world for the first time.
Other pilots attempted to rebuild and clean up, trying to make something of their former homes, others had just given up, awaiting death. The Ghost hadn't lost hope yet, he spent his days chipping away at the rock, trying to gain even a sliver of the W.P.S.B's steel doors.
The Ghost had made progress, chipping away feet of land, trying to get to the doors. Finally his shovel created sparks. The pilots all rush over to The Ghost, finally seeing the scored words, "ODTA's W.P.S.B" uncovered after two years. The Pilots cheered and grabbed any tool able to move dirt. As they dug, the more and more they got excited, everyone ready to see their friends and family once again.
After a few hours of digging, the entrance was clear, and with the help of the Bulldozer they, been using to keep the tarmac clear, the pull open the doors, eager for their reunions.
