Chapter 43 - Battle Against Barbarians - Part 2

He leans forward in his chair, looking intently at his subordinate. "I want you to find out everything you can about Adrian and his operations in the Land of Adenlia. I want to know his strengths, weaknesses, and any potential threats he may pose to the Hope Kingdom."

The subordinate nods, scribbling notes furiously. "Yes, sir. I'll get right on it."

Eldan leans back in his chair, lost in thought. "This could be a game-changer," he murmurs to himself. "If Adrian is as powerful as they say, he could be a valuable ally... or a dangerous enemy."

Adrian stood in front of Alpha and Vex, the leaders of his wood wolf pack and one of the leaders of the Wood Humanoids, respectively. He looked at them sternly as he gave his orders.

"Alpha, Vex," he began, "I need you to start the mission of destroying the Knife Hand Organization." "They've been causing problems for too long, and I want them gone."

"The details are imparted in your heads; do what you need to do and clear out the camp."

Alpha and Vex exchanged a quick glance before nodding their heads in agreement. They both knew that Adrian was not one to be trifled with, and they had complete faith in his abilities.

"We will do our best, Lord Adrian," Alpha said, his voice strong and unwavering.

Vex nodded in agreement. "We will not disappoint you," he said.

Adrian smiled, pleased with their response. "I have faith in you both," he said. "30 wood wolves and 50 humanoid puppet soldiers should be able to take on this mission."

With that, Alpha and Vex gathered their respective packs and set off towards the Knife Hand Organization's outpost. Adrian watched them go, a feeling of pride and determination swelling within him. He knew that with his loyal followers by his side, he could accomplish anything he set his mind to.

As the sun started to set, Alpha and Vex led the group of wood wolves and wood humanoids through the dense forest. The creatures moved swiftly and silently, their wooden bodies making no sound as they stepped over fallen branches and leaves.

Alpha and Vex communicated with each other through a series of growls and barks, discussing their strategy for taking down the Knife Hand Organization. They knew that the group was heavily armed and dangerous, but they were confident in their abilities and the strength of their numbers.

The clash of steel on wood echoed through the forest as the two sides fought for dominance. The wood humanoids proved to be formidable fighters, their wooden bodies absorbing blows that would have felled a flesh-and-blood opponent.
