Chapter 3

*Ding!

[ Task: Fight You Weakling - Complete

Task Description: A very bad kid disrespected you, show him who the boss is.

Task Reward: Abilities of Ezio.]

"Ezio? You mean the one from Assassins Creed? Damn!" Hans was very surprised inside, he couldn't help but get elated from his new ability, he really wanted to jump away immediately and try those cool parkour he had seen in the game, maybe the leap of faith too.

…..

It didn't take long for Hans to arrive in the registration and become an official ranker, but before that, he must do some tests, many people were paying attention to him due to the show he gave earlier.

"Please put your hands in the ball," the worker said.

Hans followed and put his hands on the ball, it started to glow and spin.

In this world, the quantity and quality of mana is everything to a ranker, they use a special machine to know how high your mana is and will determine your ranking, and a few moments later, the ball in Hanss hands had dimmed.

"Y-you have no magic, Congratulations on being a ranker, here is your badge, bronze III, which indicates you are in the herald rank," the worker handed him a bronze badge with a cold tone.

In this world the ranking goes like this.

Herald – Bronze Badge I, II, III (Lowest Rank) (No Privileges)

Guardian – Iron Badge I, II, III, IV (Lower Rank) (Small Privileges)

Crusader – Silver Badge I, II, III, IV, V (Low rank) (Small Privileges)

Archon – Gold Badge I, II, III, IV, V (Middle Rank) (Normal Privileges)

Legend – Platinum Badge I, II, III, IV, V (Middle Rank – can be considered a veteran) (Normal Privileges)

Ancient – Diamond Badge I, II, III, IV, V (High Rank – More privileges)

Divine –Obsidian Badge I, II, III (Highest Rank – Absolute Privileges)

Hans was kind of dumbfounded when he saw he was at the lowest rank, but he found it reasonable because he didn't find MP or Mana points on his status, that meant Hans is a pure warrior or an assassin since he has Enzio abilities, you get it?

Hans didn't take it too much as he could rise his rank in later stages, after paying the registration fee which was 50 Aerth coins, Hans looked for an empty seat in the place and found one, he sat on it and started thinking.

For now, he doesn't know a shit about Enzio's ability, he didn't receive any information about it nor did he feel his body getting stronger, 'Is it passive?' he thought, anyways just in case he checked his system again. 'oh, there is an activation system?' he saw that it was sitting on his skill list and not active.

So just like any otaku will do, he activated the skill, he then felt memories entering his head, and it was very clear, it was like he was the one who was doing each of those things, from stealth into assassinating, he even got the blueprint in creating hidden weapons.

Hans closed his eyes to not miss any details, this lasted for 5 minutes before he reopened his eyes again, he looked up and saw a group mockingly smiling at him, "Hey Herald boy, we will take this seat, leave," the guy in front said.

He had a silver badge with 2 sticks in it hanging on his chest, Crusader rank, anyways, Hans really doesn't care as he was about to leave, but for them to mock him? That won't do, he stood up from his seat and passed by them, he then directly went outside.

The group laughed at him one last time before sitting.

"Did you see that? Such a coward, this is why Herald's are pathetic, just scare them and they will leave," a man laughed.

"You said it Tom, such weaklings shouldn't exist in the first place," said another.

"Hey, let's drink! We had a good haul today!" said another.

"Yeah!" Tom who was the leader yelled, he then grabbed his coin pouch which hung on his waist to only grab nothing; he immediately stood up and looked around his body.

"What is the problem Tom?" one asked.

"I can't find my pouch," he said as he looked at all of his sides.

Maybe you forgot it or something?" said another.

"Huh, I can't find mine too!" yelled another.

"Huh? Mine too," Soon every one of them realized that their pouches are missing, they started frantically looking around the place.

Hans was casually walking on the streets as he played with the pouch on his hand, "As expected of an assassin, swift and silent," he said with a smile on his face, he was able to easily steal the pouches from those Crusader rankers without them even noticing it.

Anyways, for now, he doesn't have any plans, maybe creating the hidden weapons first then, he still has to earn funds for spreading the culture, another way he deeply cares for his little brother, anyways, for now, he spent too much time in the Registration Hall and became hungry.

He decided to eat first then plan later, after all, there are plenty of dungeons he could go to later, he walked back to his house which took him 2 hours because he bought some food and something that a ranker would need.

Arriving at his house, he noticed that something was strange, the picture frame was a little bit off, he had a tendency to be a perfectionist sometimes, so after fixing it up, he proceeded inside.

*Creak!

The sound of the wooden floor creaking entered his ears, he frowned, there was nothing like this ever since he lived in this house, he immediately put down all of the things he had bought and only carried a dagger in his hands.

He then took a step forward and the creaking sound was gone, this was a light step that assassins have, well, assassins need to be stealthy so yeah.

He opened the doors one by one slowly, he continued doing this until he arrived at the basement door, he could feel something dangerous from the other side of the door, so he raised his dagger and slowly opened the door.

*Creak
