Chapter 389 "Christmas Gift"

Looking at the ring on the platform, Sean fell into deep thought. However, he didn't linger in place but put away the ring.

He still needs to deal with Grindelwald's time travel incident. The things in the ring are just like what his future self wrote on the note. Look at it when everything is finished.

Otherwise, if he does it now, more unexplainable things in the world would happen again.

Out of the cracks in the rocks, Nessie was obediently staying by the side. Seeing Sean come out, it moved happily over and rubbed its head against him.

However, Sean now also knows why there is a Loch Ness Monster here. This one was hatched from Future Sean's ring.

His future self should have gotten a Loch Ness Monster egg, encountered a series of accidents before he could hatch it himself, and finally, the ring followed Grindelwald to the current timeline.

This reminded Sean that there should be nothing in his future ring that needs to be guarded against, or Nessie would have no chance to slip out of the ring.

"You have to bring your egg too." Sean held the egg that was on the verge of hatching in his arms and swam out of the cave.

In the process of going up, the Inferius wanted to attack Nessie, but Sean took the lead, and the Inferius did not dare to surround them. The water splashed, Sean and Nessie rushed out of the lake in no time.

"I got it." Sean shouted towards the space where Grindelwald was.

He opened his ring, and the passageway continued to expand and finally turned into a huge hole. In order to make it easier for the Basilisk to stare at people, Sean expanded the hole. Allowing Nessie to get in as well.

Sean went in first to talk to the other animals in the ring and turned to Nessie.

"There are a few guys inside, and they're all easy to get along with. Remember not to cause any trouble, you can go the lake when you enter it." He instructed.

Nessie nodded obediently, took its egg in its mouth, and moved into the ring. There was a lot of movement in the ring, and there were various animal sounds. Seeing that the animals inside were getting along pretty well, Sean put away the ring and looked at the open space in the center.

"Should I go now?"

"Yeah." Grindelwald replied.

Sean glanced at his watch and pulled out a beautifully wrapped gift box. Under his wand, the gift box floated above the space where Grindelwald was.

Sean smiled, "Professor, Merry Christmas."

Grindelwald laughed aloud, "Well, I owe you a gift now."

Sean waved his hand, "Then I'll be going now."

Halfway through, he turned around again, with a curious expression on his face, "Professor, I have a question that has troubled me for a long time, but I don't know if you can answer it."

Grindelwald's voice was relaxed, "Well, just ask."

"Since you are trapped under the invisibility cloak, how do you suffice your own daily needs?"

Grindelwald was silent for a moment.

"Just get out of here."

"Okay, okay, I'm leaving." After a series of laughter, Sean turned into black smoke and fled directly from the island.

Not long after Sean left, Grindelwald's laughter and cursing echoed on the empty island.

"Clever bastard..."

"Well, Merry Christmas."

The weather was good this Christmas. Capone was carrying a big basket and walking in one direction on the road. During this period of time, he has been sending things left by Sean to that old woman's house every day.

Capone was flustered and didn't even open the gift directly to express his gratitude. He awkwardly grabbed the box with one hand and said, "It's really good; I like it very much."

Melanie saw his movements, and a trace of disappointment flashed in her eyes, but it was quickly covered up again.

She smiled, "It's good that you like it, then I'll take my leave."

"Okay," Capone held back for a long time, "Be careful on the way there."

Melanie gave him a laugh, waved her hands, and walked away.

In the middle of the walk, she stopped, clapped her hands, and said to herself, "Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. I have to go to Mrs. Lace, she said that she taught me to braid my hair. "Sean? When did you come..." Capone was a bit surprised.

Sean replied, "I just arrived here."

"No, I mean. I was about to deliver something to Ms. Bathilda, and you came just in time..." Capone pretended to be calm.

Sean turned around leisurely, motioning for Capone to follow.

Sean cut him off, "What do you understand?"

Sean turned his head, glanced at him, and said strangely, "Wizard is way more superior than normal people? Is that it?"

Hearing this, Capone immediately stretched his neck and quickly replied, "I never thought about that!"

"What do you understand then?" Sean gave a funny look, "Trading Christmas gifts does not mean you two are in a relationship. How old are you two? Don't tell me that you don't understand the role of Wizards and Muggles in the future."

"I..." Capone lowered his head, "I just don't know what to do..."

Sean said leisurely, "The wizarding world allows Muggles and wizards to make friends and even marry each other. I think a sincere friend is worth maintaining until the end."

He fell silent. Sean didn't say much, and the two walked to Ms. Bathilda's yard.

"Okay, leave it to me today. You can go back now." Sean took the basket and handed over a gift box.
