ROWOON clicked his tongue after the ghoul that he caught earlier disintegrated after getting burned by his spiritual energy. He was a little annoyed because he only got little information after interrogating it. "The ghouls aren't from this mountain."
"That seems to be the case," Danbi said, sighing. "It seems like someone purposely brought the evil ghouls to this mountain."
They didn't need to guess about the purpose of whoever did that.
"Whoever is behind this scheme is after Moon Yujin," Rowoon said, shaking his head. "But there are a lot of people who want her dead, so I can't think of anyone in particular at the moment."
"It doesn't matter right now," Danbi said. "We can't find Yujin in this vast mountain, and it's already getting dark. Moreover, we don't know if our schoolmates are harmed by the fog or not. We must get a hold of Yujin first, then get out of this mountain."
He knew that his friend was right.
