(7.) Undercover (Melody’s POV)

I am walking down the hallway with Ash and Ava, while walking past Mason's room we see him lying on the floor...again, so well I saw this coming, Astrid walked into his room, s without him noticing and kicked him bent down in his ear and said "get up teal boy! we have a meeting with Cap'n Crunchies in the main room, were gonna find out our assignments, you have the brains so come help us figure it out!" Mason still looking up at the ceiling he said "guess Ash is back to her old self and yes I have the brains hmm come to think of it, Cap'n Cuttlefish is the super old sensei or whatever you call it, Ava is the basket case and the strong link to the group were up against, Ellie is the but makes a great assistant and is a link to the group were up against, Astrid is the devil-may-care fighter and can see through schemes kind of girl, Melody is the positive support and a dangerously cool musician, oh wait and never give Astrid a inkolin (violin in case you couldn't figure it out) she will use it like a bow...I can still see the stick to play the inkolin in my sleep...ok I'm coming!" Ava left earlier then us, when we all finally left Masons room, which I bet Ava was already there, so we continued walking to the main room.

We now are in the main room Ava and cap we're already waiting for us. I saw Astrid trying to slowly sneak away, so I said 'innocently' with a smile "hey Astrid can I come with you to the simulation room" everyone then noticed Astrid, well everyone execpt Averlyn didn't notice her before, she gave her the stink eye and Astrid Stuck her tongue "Astrid Maria Squidish get back here and sit down" cap'n Cuttlefish said with no emotion in his voice, obviously used to it, I giggled and sat down beside Ava, till she got up to talk.

(Mason's POV)

I hope we can make this meeting any quicker! I need mah pancakes Ava!

(Ellie's POV)

I wonder why do we have tentacles when we squid but we have feet when we squid in on our ink don't? I'm in deep thought over this...I already know what's Ava is going to say anyways....so pay deep attention to your mind question Ellie...

(Melody's POV)

Wow so cool! I wonder who cap'n Cuttlefish is going to recruit...

(Astrid's POV)

It's official I'm dying, we obviously...well I don't know about the others but...I am gonna have to teach the other kids, expect my sis, how to fight and make plans/schemes to be one step ahead of whoever were fighting, then Mason is the hacker and brains whatever, Melody...well I have to teach her to fight also how to be a step ahead, Ellie I don't even think that girl has brains but she the link to the bad guys...so assistant but i'm pretty sure Averlyn has gotten more information being their than she has. but if she qualified to work with Ava shes smarter then we think. Ava...ok yeah she's the nut case grifter 's ' probably

(Ava's POV)

"focus inklings, Part one of their plan is starting tomorrow. Me and Ellie along with the rest of their army is gonna help them invade inkopolis to keep our cover, Astrid and Melody your job will be to lead everyone to safety on the island, Astrid anybody that attacks break them, just outside the harbor. Mason you along with Max are going to help code the doors to open when everyone starts arriving."

I guess no-one but me noticed he was there cause everyone started looking around for him when they found him sitting across the table, he was playing with some inkgos, weird he's the same age as Mason. "Anyway, as I was saying we can't keep them here there's to many people there's a secret lair underneath the island that was made by our parents. In there I have prepared a whole speech of every detail that has happened in the world, Melody will be reading and explaining this to everyone once in the lair," with that I held my hand out to Ellie and she past me the keychains. "Here is your communication systems we will be able to here everything I say and every Squid and Octoling around me, you can talk directly to me but I will not talk to you to keep my cover." "Is everyone clear on there assignments?" asked Ellie as she passed out all the communication systems and documents that we would need, and with that I told them to go practice and be at the simulation area at 1:00 pm for training with me and Astrid, then I dismissed them and told them that other meetings will take place to discuss other parts of there and our plans.
