The forty-year-old mother sat in all her smugness in the luxurious chair in front of Ivy. Ivy wasn't sure what her mother was thinking, but at least it was the same thing her father was thinking. She knew so well. Through the look in her eyes, Ivy could sense that her mother was disgusted with what she had done.
"Ivy…!" the father snapped at Ivy.
The commander of The Guardians who was around thirty years old stood calmly to Ivy's father's left side.
"I did what was supposed to be done."
"Have you lost your mind, huh?"
"I have not, Dad."
"Then, why are you doing such an embarrassing thing?" the mother also snapped at Ivy.
"I didn't do anything embarrassing," Ivy replied, looking at her mother. "Not at all."
"How dare you!" said the father.
Slap!
Ivy was forced to turn her head to the right, the hard slap from her father left a red mark on Ivy's left cheek.
