Chapter 7: PRAISE THE SUN!!!

Artreus reverted back to his Human form before making his way to the Prodigal Son of Dark Souls himself.

He went down the stairs after grabbing the Lizard and Soul drop located there. He came face to face with the locked door that required the Basement Key to open, he turned right into a stone plaza like area similar to Dark Souls 3 PVP hotspot area past the Pontiff Boss Fight.

He makes his way to the most beloved Sun Bro in all of Dark Souls.

He descended the stairs and made his way to good old Solaire.

Artreus: "Hello there, friend. What would you be doing here? Admiring the view?"

The person with a bucket helmet, that definitely doesn't look like a Former Assassin, turned his head to the side to look at Artreus.

Solaire: "Oh, my apologies. I must have not noticed your approach. I was so captivated by the sight of the Glorious Sun in the sky."

Artreus: "I take that as a yes to my question?"

Solaire: "Haha, yes my friend, indeed it is. However, I thought I might have frightened you away with myself. I have come to this land to seek my own Sun. What would your objective be?"

Artreus: "To ring the Bells of Awakening. Should your path also lead to the Bells...then maybe we could join together in doing some..."

Solaire: "...Jolly Co-Operation?!"

Artreus: "Yes! Indeed my Friend!" Let us Praise The Sun together!"

They both stood side by side as they faced the direction of the Sun. They then proceeded to outstretch their hands and form the iconic gesture while saying in unison...

Artreus: "PRAISE THE SUN!"

Solaire: "PRAISE THE SUN!"

Artreus had always wanted to do this. Cringe it may be...but at least he did something that noone else back on Earth would have dreamed possible of achieving.

He had done the Praise The Sun gesture with the very person that started it all.

He did however, have ulterior motives for this. He wanted to be on friendly relations with Solaire.

He actually can't join the Sun Covenant since he is not a believer in a lesser God from a fictional universe. He only worships One God, and it sure isn't Gwen, Nito, The Witch of Izalith, The Furtive Pygmy, Lloyd, Blacksmith God or any of the other Gods of the Dark Souls Universe.

Solaire: HAHAHA! It is great to have a fellow Brother-in-arms to fight alongside with. Here! Take this! It is a White Soapstone. It will allow you to Summon aid from me or others. Simply write the name of the person upon the ground and a phantom of that person from the past will appear to assist you."

Artreus: 'Hmm, I know that what he said is true based on the game's lore of the Soapstone and of the fact that Time is Convoluted. Hey Luna, can I Summon a real version of Solaire and other people like Teleportation?"

Luna: "Not at the moment no. But you can either by upgrading the White Soapstone that you already possess or by having the original creator of the White Soapstones tell you of how it was created."

Artreus: 'The GOD that created it must be from either before Gwyn linked the Fire a thousand years ago or when the Gods abandoned Anor Londo approximately 500 years ago. *sigh* Finding them will be impossible now. I will have to deal with searching for them in the future...or the past."

That is when an idea had struck him like a bolt of lighting from Gwyn himself!

Artreus: 'Luna! Can you alter the Brken Pendent's signature so that Manus will be confused to think that the modified Broken Pendent is actually in the distant past?!'

Luna: "Yes....?!?!?! Artreus! That can actually work!"

Artreus: 'I know I'm amazing and all....(*whispers* Praise me more).'

Luna: "No thanks. Go back to your new water bucket."

Artreus had finally ended his conversation with Luna. His plan for the White Soapstone and to meet living Myths and Legendary beings were now in motion.

He had talked to Solaire for a while more. He knew that out of everyone in this world, Solaire is the few that won't betray him and kick him down into a treasure filled pit.

That's why he revealed his abilities to Solaire, but not his intentions to let The First Flame be snuffed out.

Solaire was obviously surprised by by the powers Artreus possessed.

They had then proceed to the bridge of Hollows. Soon after a Red Drake reappeared and breathed fire on all the beings of the bridge.

Solaire and Artreus reached the safety of the staircase towards the shortcut if the Bonfire of the Undead Berg.

The two of them made a plan to kill the Red Drake since Artreus wanted a certain collectable to make a "FINE ADDITION TO MY COLLECTION!".

The two reappeared before the Red Drake. At some point it landed down on the bridge, when it grew tired of failing to burn them with its fire breath.

Solaire throw his Lighting Bolt miracles whole Artreus turned into a Direwolf and ran to its rear, from between its legs. Once behind the distracted Drake, he transforms into Fauna and began to bite and tear of the tail of the Drake.

It turned around to breath fire on Artreus but couldn't, as Solaire had stabbed it it the chest while it diverted its attention to scorch Artreus. The Drake roared in pain as it was being impaled in the chest by a sword and having a large wolf like beast clawing and bitting into its back and primarily the tail.

Artreus used his Fauna forms ability, of generating lightning based attacks, to smite the Drake with 'Heavenly Judgment'.

The Drake could not take any more of the damage it was receiving and went limp and fell.

Solaire the stabbed it through the skull, while Artreus used his jaw and tore it's head off fir good measure.

The body did not disappear as it would in the game.

Artreus had harvested the tail, along with many scales and organs of the creature such as it's blood, hide, underneath layer if skin, muscles, flesh, bones, claws, teeth, eyes, heart and stomach acid.

He could use many of this for his Alchemy creations as he had all the Alchemist knowledge of Nirn.

He could also use it as a Mutagen to put in himself thanks to his Witcher Mutations.

After a long time of harvesting the Dragon, and the Drake Sword, which was actually inside the tail attached to its tail none. They finally moved on and opened the gate by the bonfire. Solaire prayed at the broken alter of the Nameless King, also known as the War God Faraam to the Lionmen people.

Artreus made his way up the tower and did a running drop kick, just like Nero Sparda, on the Black Knight from behind it.

The Black Knight fell, had broken its neck and died instantly.

Artreus collected its gear for his own.

Upon entering the area with the boar, Artreus turned into a Cheetah and killed the Hollows in the rear while Solaire blocked the Boar's charge at himself with the shield.

After killing the Hollows that could have closed the gate, he tuened Human and picked up some spears off the dead Hollows.

He threw it at the Archers up top that were pressuring Solaire.

Once that was dealt with, he became Fauna once more to assist Solaire, who was pinned against the wall, Blocking against the Boar who tried to impale the Sun Bro through the abdomen.

Artreus channeled his electrical power through his teeth. He bot the Boar, hard enough to break the Armour plates of its body, along with it's spine.

After the thanks from Solaire, they made their way into the Church, after collecting the Basement Key of course.
