Chapter 17: Ciri

Artreus: "WHAT THE HELL IS CIRI DOING HERE?!?!?!?!"

The girl he saw was non other then Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, descendent of Lara Doren who was the first bearer of the Elder Blood Gene.

Artreus was surprised to see Ciri there, but quickly realised she must have used her Elder Blood ability to walk between Space, Time and Universes. Hence she was here. The Elder Blood was essentially its own Multiverse traveling System.

By the looks of Ciri, she is wearing her original white shirt outfit. She was currently using her sword Zireael to Slash the throat of a Capra Demon. Although her blade was made of a weak metal and could not cut the Capra Demon's neck.

The blade made sparks and she teleporyed away from an incoming attack from its Large Machetes.

She tried cutting the heels and joints of its legs but failed yet again and made more sparks.

She vannished again in a Turquoise flash and moved away to avoid the second and hard Capra Demons swings.

Her blade was not made of Titanite and this couldn't harm the Capra Demon. If she could deal the same Strength that a horses kick could deal, then she might be able to deal some damage or snap its neck.

However, she is just an ordinary person with sword training and the Elder Blood. She does not possess the physical enhancements that The Witcher Trials/Mutations give or the Levelung up through the acquisition of Souls.

Artreus remembered that she had been travelling to escape the Wild Hunt and she had been to many worlds to throw of their trail.

She said she lived in an underwater kingdom for a while, been to a modern/futuristic world and ran with Unicorns at the World's End.

The first is Atlantis, obviously.

The second is not Cyberpunk 2077. The developers even said she doesn't go there but fans just assumed it. She probably went to Star Wars and was talking about the Septetist Droids. Or she could have gone to Star Treck or anything else for all he knows. Only if he asks her will he know which future world she had went to.

The last is weird. It could have been exaggeration on her part when explaining it to Geralt. But there may be a chance she was mentioning the Ringed City of Dark Souls 3 final DLC. As fir the Unicorns...the only thing that could come to his mind was himself. He could have bought the Unicorn Form for himself. But she said "Unicorns" with an "S". That means more then one...she could also mean Angel. After all, Artreus now gave Angel the same physiology that he has which is Fushi's body from To Your Eternity. Angel and Artreus could have used their Unicorn Forms to go run with Ciri at the "World's End".

After a few seconds of pondering, he decides to help her out, since he is planning on going to The Witcher Universe at some point to stay in it for a while.

He has Luna read his mind to create a note instantly for him. He teleports to Solaire and drops a letter at his feet. He was currently playing the game he taught him.

Liar's Dice, his favourite game.

Artreus: "Read this. And Engyi...he has four 3s under his cup."

He teleports out of there but the did here the last words of the two of them.

Solaire: "NOOOOO!!!"

Eingyi: "I was right. Your a Liar!!! Now give me your Medals!"

Solaire: "Noo! Not my Sunlight Medals! By Gwyn's Wrath! Release your hands of my Medals!"

Artreus decided to make a good impression on Ciri. Afterall, he is going to go to The Witcher Universe at some point. He might as well make some friends. The best way to do that is to make Ciri think that he comes from The Witcher world as well and has Elder Blood like her.

He equips his Ezio Armour and his two Swords on his back. Anuril and Glamdring, two legendary and infamous weapons of he Lord of the Rings/Middle Earth.

He had gotten a Duplication of Anduril and Glamdring from Middle Earth when he teleported there. He had actually felt his power weaken when he was there and assumed it was Arda and him being within the boundaries and confines of Eä. His power had returned when he teleported out of Lord if the Rings Universe and back to Lordran.

He had naturally gone to Andre to upgrade his gear. Andre did it instantly thanks to the Pocket Dimension Time Dialation effect, but even still, he had nit finished his Wish Weapon yet. Andre had said he had something to strive for and a true challenge.

The ABSOLUTE LIVING LEGEND spent more than 68,000 YEARS trying to Perfect his Wish Weapon! Andre had said that the weapon could be improved infinitely and he had kept on using the Ember and all his materials over and over again.

He had even folded it countless times that he had forgotten. He ran out of oil to quench it in so he ended up using his blood to use as a substitute.

Artreus asked Andre for Souls and he can purchase all the materials he wanted. Andre had given him more than 68,000,000 Souls!

Artreus had wondered why and how he had this much, but he just said that it was nothing compared to what the Lords and Gods have.

Quelaag was not lying that she originally had many souls. She actually possessed a total of about 4,500,000,000 Souls during her life. But Artreus would never know that.

Andre had then received all major of different tools and Weapons and Armours for him to reference back to. Artreus naturally decided to make his space bigger with the Skelton Key and made it so that he won't run out of Materials and decided to Duplicate everything he might use for forging. He will not run out of materials for at least 1.3 Billion years. At least he had hoped so...

Andre had then spent a few thousand years upgrading Anduril, his Ezio Armour and Glamdring to as far as he could with all the metals Artreus gave to him.

Returning to the present day...

Artreus teleported to Ciri's location and used Anduril to Slash the head of a Capra Demon.

Ciri looked stunned that he could decapitate the creature she had struggled to even cut this entire time.

Ciri: "Watch out!"

Artreus just did an backwards Slash, doing a reverse cartwheel spin with his blade, this caused the balde if the Capra Demon behind him to be parried and stabbed in the head from the chin up.

The third and final one had come at him from the side. Artreus duel wielded Anduril and Glamdring in his hands, he did a Perfect Dodge on the third Demon in the immediate vicinity and slashed its side.

Alot of pulled poured out. It was enraged and tried swing its blades down like they were hammers. He just dropped his weapons and grabbed the hands of the Demon, stopping its swing in the process.

He then jumped up to stand on the Demon and repeatedly bashed his head into its skull.

The Demon fell back onto the ground from the disorientation it received. Artreus kept headbutting the Demon again and again, all while mouth agape Ciri watched on the side.

Artreus could feel his skull cracking from the impact. He stopped otherwise he might die and who knows how long it will take to revive. Then Ciri might leave thinking he had killed himself and the Demon. That would be embarrassing.

He got both his hands and twisted its head, snapping it in the process and killing it.

He stood up and turned to Ciri who pointed her sword Zireael at him.

Ciri: "Who are you?!"

Artreus: "Easy there, I'm your ally."

Ciri: "That remains to be seen. I don't even know who you are."

Artreus: "How rude of me...I am Artreus Akaniir of Skyrim. I am a Witcher of the School of the Dragon."

Ciri was shocked by his words of being a Witcher. She had been travelling to different worlds all this time, did she really return to her original world?

She looked at his gear and noticed that he had a pair of Silver eyes but mainly they were Cat slitted eyes that all Witchers have die to the Mutations they undergo. She also saw both of his swords and assumed he was telling the truth.

Ciri: "What is this place? Where are we? And what were those monsters?"

Artreus: "Hey, slow down there. You still haven't introduced yourself."

Ciri: "That's non of your concern."

Artreus: "Is that anyway to treat the person who saved your life?"

Ciri: "You didn't save me. I would have been fine."

Artreus: "Really? You sword needs to made of a material called Titanite to be able to even cut a most monsters in this world. You clearly aren't from this world...Child of the Elder Blood."

Ciri had wide eyes that threatened to burst our of their sockets.

Ciri: "How do you know of me?!"

Artreus: "Calm down! I know because I'm like you. I have the Elder Blood too."

Ciri was doubtful of his words. Avallac'h had always told her that she was the only descendent of the Elder Blood that remained capable of using the power.

Artreus saw she would nit believe him, so he had used his Elder Blood teleportation to reach her and grab the sword and her hand. This way if she teleports to another world, so too will he along with her.

Ciri kept getting one surprise after another.

She tried to resist his grip and was ready to teleport but he spoke quickly.

Artreus: "The Hunt can't track me, but they can you! The Wild Hunt would come after me as well since we are the same. If you trust me, I can help you to not be tracked by them for a time. If I had wanted you captured or dead, I would have been just knocked you out or slit your throat a while ago instead of helping you."

She pondered over his words for a minute. She could definitely use some rest. She had been running a long time and hadn't eaten or slept in days. Ciri eased up and let her body slump.

Ciri: "Okay. But if you lie to me then I'll-"

Artreus: "Yeah, yeah. Now then. You teleport us first to a few random worlds to trick the Hunt into thinking your not in this world. Then I will teleport us back here, since the Wold Hunt can't track me using my powers."

Ciri wanted to question him, but that an be for later. She did as he said and went to many different worlds. One of fire, another of ice, next was filled with endless insects, after that was a world of many dungeons and dragon.

Once they stopped there, Artreus then teleported them back to Lordran. But this time to the area of Quelaag's Domain, her Boss Room, since she wasn't there at this moment so as to avoid a misunderstanding between the two of them.

Ciri: "I guess you were telling the truth. But how can you have the Ekder Blood too. I thought I was the only one!"

Ciri was still wary of him, bit finally happy to both meet another Human after having to fight against many Demons alone, and that she was mit alone. That there was someone else with the Elder Blood like her and could help her to control her power.

Artreus: "Well it is a bit complicated. But the short version is, I came to this world a long time ago. In this world, all Humans are Immortal. They..."

Artreus then explained the world of Dark Souls, its countries, history, Gods, races, factions, lore, the Curse of Hollows, the Dark Sogn, Gwyn Lighting the First Flame. And also a lie about how he has the Elder Blood. He can't just say he was reincarnated and has a System he can use, or the fact he was a Mosquito and took blood from her parents to obtain the Elder Blood Gene.

After a long explanation, he introduced her as a friend who is not an Undead and this could die, to the others. Quelaag chose to remain in her half Spider form, unlike Quelaan who chose to be in her Human Form once again. Quelaag's form had surprised uri slightly.

Ciri had approached Artreus to thank him for saving his life. After that she had gone to eat some amazing earth food that Artreus bought from the System and given her. She had eaten like a starved beast and went to sleep like a peaceful kitten, completely opposite from the Lion who devoured the food earlier.

After a few more days, she had finally recovered from her fatigue of sleep and food deprivation. Not only that, but Angel had shown signs of waking up.

He removed the Angel Orb from his Storage and placed her on the ground. Soon after the Orb broke apart and turned into white threads and stings, they ahd all them slithered and came together, multiplying and duplicating each other until there were millions of threads.

They all came together and formed a small female body of an 12 year old child. Soon after the featureless White figure had changed until it gained the color of Human skin. The appearance and body of a sleeping Angel appeared curled up on the ground before him. She opened her eyes groggily and looked around until she saw him.

Angel: "Daddy?"

Artreus had then suffered a Heart Attack and Died...
