Chapter 11: IT’s DUMBO!!!

He could have easily done it with the Skeleton Key, bit wanted to do it the original way. The nostalgia and feeling of this world being real was getting to him. Despite this world being Dark, Evil and Chaotic...it was still reality

Solaire descended down the ladder, but he didn't. He had a more fun way. He could take a bird form and fly down, but that still required effort to flap the wings. Going gown a huge ladder is boring AF. He just jumped down and plummeted downwards to the bottom.

Solaire saw this but said nothing since his friend and ally had already explained he would do crazy stuff like this.

Artreus had gone splat on the floor. His ribs punctured his insides, his limbs twisted, bones broken. When Solaire reached the bottom he saw he wasn't healing fast enough and poured an Estus Flask on him rather than waiting a day.

Why did Artreus do this? He did it since he knew he can avoid the 4 day revival process if he doesn't die instantly. As long as that happened, he can do anything else and get healed by Estus Flasks. He did this at any opportunity he can get so that he can strengthen and make his regeneration abilities faster and faster with everytime he injuries himself.

His body immediately repaired itself and he was as good as new. Currently he wasn't wearing any Armour and just his Tunic clothing that could repair alongside his body.

When he has enough souls to freely spend, he will buy some good expensive clothes. That way, if the clothes get damaged, he can just use his duplication power and make a brand new one in perfect condition.

They travelled and opened up the shortcut to the Undead Burg Bonfire with he Skeleton Key.

Making their way to the Dogs, Artreus took the form of a Lion and tore them apart.

He swung his paw at one of the dogs that jumped at him, sending them flying into the burning pyres that were in the area. Solaire had finished it off.

The next dog tried to bite him when he was distracted, but had failed since he turned his head around to bite it, it struggled in his jaws.

The third one tried to help its brother, Artreus just swung the dog that was in his mouth and used it as a flail to swing it around in a 360 turn and slmmed both of them together.

Artreus then pouched on them and dig his claws into the throat of one dog while he bit and tore of the haed of the other.

He saw the place where Griggs was trapped. He decided to get him out once all the Hollows and enemies have been dealt with.

Artreus had looted the entire area as they cleared it of enemies. Solaire didn't require any of the equipment or loot they obtained as he was set on gear himself. All that was required was upgrades to his current panoply.

When theybreached the alley of Hollws and Dogs, Artreus just transformed into a large Rhino and charged sown the narrow hallow of death.

All the enemies were trampled beneath him and became a pile of crushed bones and flesh. Their weapons did piece his body since they were all made of Titanite, the Metal of the Gods.

He had an idea when he was at the Fog Wll. He decided to fly as a Bird high up into the sky and hover above the Capra Demon.

He then transformed into the one and only Dumbo, the Elephant!!! (Of course without the long ears.)

He then fell straight down due to Gravity on the unsuspecting Fake Boss.

Moments later, a loud crashing sound was made that shook the entire lower Undead Burg and the Upper Undead Burg.

The two dogs, he missed, were grabbed by his truck and crushed to death. Thus was the greatest one shot build and first ever Plunging Attack on a Boss from outside of a Fog Wall, was accomplished.

When he got his 6,000 Souls from the Capra Demon, he also got a announcement from the System.

Wasting no time, he asked for the specifics of what he obtained. He only asked about the Upgrade token since he knew the others

Luna: "The Upgrade Token will let you upgrade anything by a certain threshold. Each item or skill is effected differently. You can also use it to increase the overall capabilities of all your Forms except your Human Form. One effect of doing this will let you attune Elemental powers ir use abilities and apply them to a Form. This will allow you to use abilities in your other Forms as well."

Artreus pondered on what he should use it for. He wanted to upgrade his Light and Heavy Armour Skill levels to 100. And he wanted to do it quickly. But now hearing the advantages for his forms made him think hard about it.

Artreus: "Screw it! I cam always level up my skills on my own. This chance may never come again and its to damn good to pass up. Luna, use the Upgrade Token on my forms. Also use my Apparel Token to buy Ezio Assassin's Clothing from Assassin's Creed Revelations."

Artreus: "Nice. Time to go get Griggs."

After that the duo went to free Griggs from the house he was locked in. After talking to him and telling him to go to Firelink Shrine, the 2 sunbros went to the door to the Depths.

Artreus took the opportunity to experiment with his new forms. Be became an large Lighting Fauna Form. The whole body looked as if it was covered by Lighting Armour that covered his physical body.

He concentrated imagine himself becoming Lighting entirely.

He succeed since his entire being was made of energy. His body, blood, flesh, claws, veins, eyes, everything was completely made of lighting. As if the very element if nature had taken the shape of a large wolf.

They two Hollow Thieves that would slit the throat of many unsuspecting first time Dark Souls players had been turned to ashes when his paws connected with their body.

He turned back to his Human form and entered the Depths with the key. Now it was time for one of the two most disgusting places in Dark Souls to be cleared.

For this was a place without the Sun!

Will our Sunbros survive the darkness without the Sun, or will they persist in Despair...
