14.) The Dragon and the battle

Once morning came Raven was up and getting ready for the day since this would be when they go to the mountain and the dragon so with a sigh she walks out and looks around while she was listening to what was going on as Frerin was told he would be staying back with Oin and Kili which ended with FIli staying behind, as they went off she notice that they where missing Bufir as well but she could hear him with the ones who were told to stay behind as they were heading for the mountain. After some time they finally got to the mountain and start to look for a way up the side of the mountain till they finally found some stairs which Bilbo pointed out then they went up and finally found the hidden door area, she licks her lips and had a bad feeling about them being in this place and she wasn't sure why but as time passed she could see the change in Thorin which start to worry Raven while they start to get the dragon to the forges where he lights up the forges then they move to the hall of the kings, till Smaug headed for Lake Town where he was killed and she could see something was wrong will Thorin.

As the days passed Raven could see as he was falling more and more so went off on her own and start to meditate till she had gotten into contact with her ancestors and try to figure out ways to help which sadly took longer than needed, once she woke up Thorin already had the company build a wall so she headed out and got some stuff then light it and letting the stuff start to purifies the mountain and the company from whatever dark magic was filling the mountain, so with a sigh she stood in the shadows and slowly blew some dust in Thorin face hoping it helps him break free. then she licks her lips and headed to bed while she was trying to come up with ways to help then she woke when morning came and she went out and listen to what was going on above her and frown hearing what Bilbo did then him going over the bridge as she could hear Thorin breaking through as a battle happen outside so she sneaks out, and made her way to where the pale orc was because of a dream she had last night so as she made her way through the battle her massive wolf form destroy any orcs and wargs she came across till she got to Ravenhill where she howled right as she heard the wall being broken as a bell went through it. Raven kept going till she finally found the pale orc and a fight broke out between the two since she was brought here to save the drain line and the biggest threat was the pale orc so with a howl she ripped his head off and threw it over the waterfall along with his body and start to hear a second army along with Thorin and them so she headed to where she was hearing the group, then she jumps over a bolder and growled as she attacks the orcs as eagles came along with Beorn and the other skin changes that she saves bit though was dead, who were a sabertooth, a tiger, an alligator, and some others which made more orcs and that try to run but of course they didn't get too far so they, of course, won the battle and made their way down with Thorin on her back since his goat was kille

Once they got back to the mountain Raven shifted back and meet Thorin cousin Dain while they start to collect their dead and burn the trolls and orcs, when it start to get dark they headed inside to get some rest and as Raven slept she meant with the Vala and figure out about her reward which gives her the ability to go back and forth from middle earth to her home word, which shock her and made her very happy so once she woke up she went to Thorin and explain her dream and how she could take the company if they where up for it so they could see where she was born and meet her family, " we can ask them at Breakfast" Thorin said seeing the joy in his ones eyes made him feel guilty since he never though about how there was a chance she couldnt return to the, so they went down to the private dining room where the others where waiting so they all start to eat then she brought up her dreams and what she could do now, then she smiled calmly when the all though it would be fun to go see what her world would be like so they all talk about going after they get things balance and running smoothly enough for them to go, of course Raven was going to help so now they where heading down to the front where they saw Beorn and the others who got welcome by Thorin. Raven went over to speak with them while Thorin was explaining things to Dain with Balin and Dawlin on his sides so she didn't listen in, of course, she was glad Beorn had more of his kin which he seems to be much happier about seeing them which anyone would be if they where in his place. Raven smile as they turn into their animal forms and start to help clear stuff out of the way and help hold stuff up and into place which was a lot of help so, after some time they were under ways in repairs the mountain and Dale, Raven look around as she listens to what was going on after all the rubble was taken care and clear out so the repairing could be started
