Soul Ring Swallowing?

Zaleck chuckled at Amaris's choice of name. "Pink Widow, huh? That's quite fitting for your new form," she remarked. Amaris grinned, feeling a surge of confidence. She knew she still had a long way to go, but this newfound power gave her hope.

With her new abilities, Amaris ventured into the dangerous world of demons. She started by hunting down low-ranking demons, using her Pink Widow form and Yellow Fog skill to her advantage. She quickly realized that her soul possession enhanced her physical strength and granted her heightened senses and agility.

Amaris encountered various demons as she continued her journey, each stronger than the last. With each battle, she pushed herself to the limit, honing her skills and discovering new abilities within her sole possession. She experimented with different techniques and spells, gradually becoming more adept at harnessing her powers.

The demons she encountered looked like hellspawns, with distorted bodies and hideous features. They possessed unique attributes and abilities that she had to learn how to counter. Over time, Amaris gained experience and knowledge, growing stronger with each encounter.

Zaleck, inside of Amaris' consciousness, turned to look out the girl's soul and chuckled lightly to herself. "Seems like the other dimension is truly foolish."

The black obsidian soul ring power was pouring into her soul, but if you looked closely, a bit of her soul was turning red. The black obsidian soul ring seems to infect her soul and turn it evil.

Zaleck looked at the girl's soul and smiled evilly. "You're truly a weak human. Even with my soul ring, I can corrupt your soul over time. Thinking that you could absorb a rank 34 demon essence even when they die to their counterpart is fucking hilarious."

Amaris didn't know anything about Zaleck's plan and continued killing demons, but one encounter will truly change her life forever.

Walking through the wastelands, the dust in the air fuming like thick smoke, Amaris was about to reach the Underground Bloodhole, but she found something in the distance before she could make it. As she walked closer, she could see a massive eight-legged spider. Its body was black and shimmered, almost like it had an oily shine. Amaris observed the demon, noticing its huge fangs and eight eyes, each filled with hatred and malice.

The sheer aura on the demon made the back of her neck sweat. It was strong. Way stronger than her, but she could also sense that it wasn't fully healthy. It would be the perfect target for her first real challenge.

"Hey Zaleck, what's up with the spider? Any info on it?" Amaris asked the demon.

Zaleck looked at the spider through her eyes and responded, "Well, the spider is a mammoth spider. They are extremely vicious, and they normally impale their prey and eat it on the spot. This one should be ranked 17 as it's roughly 17 metres tall."

Amaris listened carefully and formulated a plan, Zaleck chiming in every so often to add a helpful piece of information. The mammoth spider was a giant black spider with eight legs and two mandibles that protruded from its mouth. Its body was covered in a hard exoskeleton and large hairs with venom on the tips. Amaris observed, searching for any weak points on the spider's body.

Zaleck pointed it out in her consciousness, "See those weak spots? That's the joints of its legs. Attack those, and it will be embolized."

Amaris memorised those weak spots and transformed into Pink Widow. She summoned her Yellow Fog skill and surrounded the spider with fog. The demon shrieked and attacked the fog, trying to find its target. Amaris ran around, reached out her arm, and stretched open her palm, and a small black star appeared in her hand.

The star started to spin rapidly, and Amaris turned her eyes to the weak point of the spider and chucked the star with all of her might at it.

"Shooting Black Star! Burst!" Amaris shouted with all of her might. The spinning black starburst out black and yellow coloured mana.

A giant explosion appeared on the spider's joint of the leg, and Amaris used the opportunity to chop it off with a dagger she brought with her.

The mammoth spider shrieked in pain and tried to attack Amaris, but she was too agile. She danced around its body, dodging attacks and cutting off its limbs. The demon was enraged and spat venom at her, but she managed to avoid it by a hair's breadth. Amaris gritted her teeth and attacked the weak points of the mammoth spider's body, finally cutting off its last limb.

Zaleck laughed loudly in her consciousness, her voice ringing in her head. Amaris ignored the demon and prepared to deliver the finishing blow. She launched her Shooting Black Star skill and destroyed its head.

The mammoth spider's body went limp and fell to the ground with a thud. Amaris breathed a sigh of relief, and a few moments later, a blue soul ring appeared from the mammoth spider's body.

Amaris was startled and looked at the ring with big eyes.

"Hey, it dropped a soul ring." She said with her mouth open.

Zaleck laughed disdainfully and said, "Idiot, you're only ranked 13 right now. You can't do anything with it."

Amaris's eyes twinkled, and she ignored Zaleck's words. For some reason, she could feel something calling to her. It was like an instinct to consume the demon's essence.

Zaleck, in her consciousness, started to panic and screamed, "Human, don't you dare absorb its essence. That'll only end up killing you."

Amaris walked towards the blue soul ring, ignoring her pleas. Her instincts told her that it was the right thing to do. The blue soul ring began to shake uncontrollably, releasing a wave of energy that blasted Amaris back. The soul ring shot into the sky and split into a thousand pieces, then flew towards Amaris and entered her consciousness.

Zaleck was stunned watching this and watched as the blue soul ring rushed into Amaris soul and some into her soul ring, turning it from black with a little blue streak. Zaleck could also see parts of Amaris soul turning back into a pure white colour.

"Soul ring swallowing? Fuck, this human swallowed the fucking soul ring?" Zaleck exclaimed, watching what was happening.

Amaris consciousness was filled with the blue soul ring's essence, causing her soul to tremble. She could feel her power increasing rapidly, and her soul ring also started to absorb the blue soul ring's essence.

Zaleck panicked slightly, her fist clenched as her crazy eyes stared at Amaris' soul. "So everything I just did was useless? " Zaleck thought, her mind running wild.

Amaris' soul completely swallowed the blue soul ring's essence, and her rank increased to rank 15; her Pink Widow soul possession also evolved. She now had venomous blood, allowing her to poison her enemies with her blood. Her Yellow fog skill also evolved and can now turn people into bone if they touch the fog, though it depends on the power of her and the opponent.

Her attribute for poison has increased, making all poison moves stronger while making her more resilient to it as well.

Amaris opened her eyes, looking down at her pink skin. Zaleck watched Amaris' soul and sighed deeply, her plan completely failing, but her eye's turning slightly.
