The Devouring Specter is a unique and powerful spirit that has mutated from the user's favorite game, Beast Evolution, from his previous world. This spirit embodies the game's mechanics, where the user must consume and evolve through the life force of dead beasts. Unlike other spirits, the Devouring Specter completely forbids traditional cultivation methods as a means to advance. The only way for the user to rank up is by hunting and devouring the spirits of ten different species.

Advancement Mechanism:

- Ten Kills Requirement: To rank up, the user must kill and devour the spirits of ten different species. Without this, the user cannot advance in cultivation, no matter how much he trains or meditates. This mirrors the Beast Evolution mechanics where evolution required absorbing the essence of various creatures.

- Random Abilities: With each beast devoured, the spirit grants the user a random ability unique to the species consumed. These abilities are temporary and serve as a preview of the power that awaits after ranking up.

- Ability Fusion: Upon ranking up, the ten temporary abilities fuse together, creating a unique and far more powerful ability. This new ability is greater than the sum of its parts, much like the evolved forms in the user's favorite game.

- Spirit Ring Strength: The ages of the devoured beasts also fuse together, forming a single, stronger spirit ring. This ring's power is directly proportional to the combined age and strength of the consumed beasts, resulting in increasingly potent abilities as the user progresses.

- Exclusive Advancement: The user cannot rank up through conventional cultivation or training methods. No amount of cultivating will raise the user's rank. The only path to growth lies in consuming beasts, staying true to the essence of Beast Evolution where power comes solely from evolution through devouring.
