Consulting a teacher

It's been a few months in the Little Scholar Academy now and the days spent here were the most memorable days of his life. Ning Rongbing cautiously planned his days and did his fullest in his studies and his friendship.

In the morning as soon as he woke up he would practice swordsmanship as it has already became his lifetime habit. Afternoons and evenings were mostly accompanied by Xiao Li. They learned, played, cultivated, or hung out together. The night is reserved for cultivation.

Seeing his lifestyle being empty and vague Ning Rongbing was very grateful to Xiao Li who made his life a little more colorful. Even though he was grateful for his mother and loved her, having a friend really was a different feeling. He also learned that Xiao Li wasn't an easygoing person or a patient one, rather she didn't know how to explode.

These days Ning Rongbing wasn't the only person to see colors in his life but also Xiao Li. She has never felt like this before. A person to share the pain, a person to show some love, and a person to fight with all might.

She never knew such a person exist!

But...

Having a friend really wasn't a bad thing.

Xiao Li also followed Ning Rongbing's tracks. Including painting and swordsmanship, she learned many things from him. She who never was interested in cultivation felt a very strong urge to cultivate. She cultivated at night but she also felt her energy increasing in the daytime when she used to paint.

Since having a brush as a martial soul it wasn't a new thing but the difference was in the past she was always stressed and occupied. Her mental state wasn't stable but now she was alright and her mental state was extremely stable. Hence her cultivation soared up and she found out that if she was fully focused and not distracted just painting itself will increase her cultivation level.

She had awakened a martial soul _Ink Brush_ with a soul power of seven. Due to her mental illness, she was unable to cultivate or develop herself but after willfully cultivating her soul power started to increase and it increased to level 8 and in a few months, it became 9.

Even though Ning Rongbing was worried about his cultivation he wasn't jealous of her but truly happy about her change. Although his strength has grown it wasn't much.

When he joined the school his soul power was 1 and it has grown to level 4. Also, he felt there are different types of cultivation as well.

In the morning when he practices swordsmanship Ning Rongbing could feel the soul power in his body slowly entering into the tired and damaged tissues and reinforcing them. It was as if his muscles were filled with wine. His tiredness will slowly reduce and his sword practice became less tiring. To avoid that he had to increase the time he practiced swordsmanship or he had to do something more tiresome.

He also felt most of the soul power he store in his body at the night was sucked by his body tissues and muscles during his swordsmanship practice. Due to not having proof he stopped looking into it and did his best.

When he practices painting or when reads books with Xiao Li he felt his mind relaxed. In another sense, he felt it was growing constantly but once again he didn't have any idea of the growth of the mind or something.

At night when he cultivates the soul energy, he once again feels his soul energy absorbed into his body tissues and it cleans up all his tiredness and sourness. Even though he had no idea what was going on didn't have any understanding nor did the books in the library have anything about this.

Seeing things getting complicated Ning Rongbing decided to consult a teacher to comprehend this mystery.

In the late afternoon, Ning Rongbing along with Xiao Li showed up at the door of a teacher's room.

"Come in," a female voice permitted them to get in. The voice wasn't any old but in her twenties at most.

The inside of the room wasn't very spacious but neither was it very congested. Having dimensions of 8x16 feet the room was designed for at least ten students to fit freely. It had a table and a rack of books in an inverted 'L' shape when entering the room.

Behind the table was a young woman looking as if in her twenties with bright eyes and blue hair. Her fairly white glossy skin was fully covered in a long black coat. Having a cold-as-ice face she revealed a noble and lonely air but Ning Rongbing identified her. She was the teacher who led him to the classroom on her first day in school.

Seeing the duo a hint of surprise was evident on the teacher's face. Seeing them together wasn't shocking to anyone but seeing them in a teacher's office was the shocking thing. Since entering the school this was the first time Ning Rongbing was consulting a teacher. Despite entering a few months before him this was also the first time Xiao Li to come to a teacher's office so this was surely a shock to any teacher.

The teacher surely was an experienced person and hid her surprise almost in the next instant. Seeing this Ning Rongbing assessed her differently. 'This woman was from a noble family'. This can be said one of the inborn talents of a noble. To show nothing on their face but have vicious poison or honeycomb in their hearts.

"Teacher Gao, he is having a doubt so please help us solve our doubt." Xiao Li shouted cheerfully not minding if she was a teacher or an elder.

The teacher is named Gao Xinya. Seeing the cheerful little girl Gao Xinya was really shocked. She has seen this girl before but not like this but the opposite. A dreaded tone gave a half-dead sight and a lonely air but now she almost mistook her for a different person.

Ning Rongbing was also slightly embarrassed at dealing with this kind of thing as this was first Xiao Li's idea to consult a teacher. Not having much communication experience he let her handle things first.
