Death

A minute before.

Rama forced himself to stand up, despite his entire body throbbing in pain and searing heat.

There was also something else he felt on his body. The wounds emitted something like dark purple smoke. It worried him because these wounds were caused by an attack from a Necromancer whose powers he didn't yet understand.

Maybe there were other effects from this attack. Rama could feel it within himself, something trying to enter his soul and slowly gnaw at it.

But there was nothing he could do right now while the Necromancer woman was still alive. Rama glanced up and saw Alysia chasing after the woman.

She was indeed formidable and fast. Perhaps even faster than him with his Agility at 104. As expected of a member of the Larkspur family.

But, even though Alysia was good, the Necromancer was better. She kept her distance while launching her attacks.
