chapter 1

The whistling wind, the chirping of the birds could be heard inside the room with the windows left open.

A thin girl with fair complexion laid on the bed thinking as she would always do imagining things that may never happen, from waking up with super powers or finding a handsome guy who would be head over hills for her, or being a top scientist even smarter than Einstein, to being a big ceo with lots of workers under her, well this she knew she will strive to make it happen in her life.

Lost in her imagination she could hear someone calling her, but she was too deep into her thoughts to notice that her mum was already inside her room staring at her smiling foolishly while being lost in thoughts.

With a slap on her cheek sophia jolted up and looked at her mum giving her an angry glare, she couldn't help but hold her cheek and ask her mum when she got into her room, her mum was already pissed off and shouted at her.

sophia so you're here day dreaming when I asked you to go to mr Wilson's store to deliver this pastries, you didn't even notice me i've being in here for over five minutes what were you thinking about, Mrs Sonia stared at daughter with amazement, she was always lost in her thoughts, we wondered what she could be thinking about. she knew her daughter was very different from a lot of girls around their neighbourhood, she liked reading a lot of novels and manga, loved watching a lot of k-dramas, loved reading a lot of complicated science books, she loved being at home more than being outside, when's she was free she'd watch animes, her daughter was a bit weird but she was happy because in this current generation it's kind of hard to find a young girl who liked this kind of stuff and was good.

Mrs Sonia is a christian in her early fifties she has a fair complexion, she's not really tall and she's a little plump, she is a beautiful african woman, her husband was dark in complexion, tall and well built

Sophia remembered that she was supposed to deliver some stuff for her mum, and she wanted to pick her phone which was upstairs before going when she went upstairs she saw a post that her favorite novel was updated and she could read the latest chapter. which read with speed as she was a fast reader, the chapters were short so she couldn't help but imagine what the next chapter will be like and completely forgot that she had something to do, remembering this now she smiled sheepishly at her mum and couldn't help but coax her, by wrapping her arms around her and telling her, how cute and hard working she was, when she saw her mum's furrowed brows gradually straighten up a bit she knew she had succeded.

but she was no where close to her brother who was a phd holder in coaxing their mum, whenever he knows that his mum is angry at him, he would hold her and start lamenting how she suffered by carrying him for nine months and then giving birth to him wasn't easy.

he would tell how he love her and will never forget her good deeds with fake tears and it won't even reach minutes before her mum completely falls for the trick, it worked everytime as long as it wasn't something fatal she wondered how her mum would be so gullible, like can't she see it's all a trick, well she was used to it already and would just roll her eyes when it happened.
