Chapter Sixty Brad and Sydney

While in my wolf form, everything feels different. The way Alpha Brad declares a challenge to me sounds like a thrill that my feet get so excited about running the forest of the Langston lands. His wolf is big and tall, the shiny coat on his neck and thick fur all over his body made me feel inferior. My wolf may be spotless white and pretty but I am small and I need to get ahead of him to win the game. So, before he could jump off the veranda I managed to run through the gates and then into the woods.
I could hear him howling behind me, alerting the other wolves of my presence running in the forest. There are other wolves around, I could smell them even if I didn't see them around. They must be the warriors protecting the borders and the Palace.
"I'm coming for you Sydney!"
His voice and the rustling of the leaves behind me indicate that he is closed and that his wolf is enjoying this kind of game.
