AT THE LAKE

Samuru and Hinata arrived at the lake and they were by captured the clam water surface that was reflect the sun light. It was a very peaceful atmosphere.

"So beautiful and peaceful" said Hinata

Samuru nodded in agreement…. "Okay enough of that it is time to learn"

The duo walked closer to the lake shore until the water surface was just one step away.

Samuru then turned to Hinata and said, "with the Byakugan, the Hyūga clan are expects at charka manipulation so this should be and easy lesson. You are going to active you Byakugan and watch the movement of charka in my body to my feet and then replicate it."

Samuru took a step on the surface of water and began walking until he was a few meters from the shore.

"Now you try" he said.

Hinata took a step forward with her right leg. Which when she placed on the water didn't sink, this was followed by her left leg which also didn't sink.

She was now standing on the water.

Samuru clapped at her quick progress, "Well done. Now that was the easy part, next comes the challenge"

"Which is?" she asked

"Walking on water. So I want you to walk towards me" he said.

Hinata took a total of three steps before she sank in to the water.

Rising up from the water, she swam back to shore.

"See I told you it wasn't easy" said Samuru as her came and stood by her.

"What happened? I maintained a constant supply of charka to my feet but I still sank" asked a confused Hinata

"True, but water doesn't behave like solid ground, there will points on the water surface were you have to increase the chakra amount or reduce the amount."

"How will I know when to increase or reduce?"

"I have no idea…instinct"

"Well that was helpful" replied Hinata sarcastically.

She then turn back to the lake and walked towards the water to continue practicing and she made quick progress.

The amount of step she could take before sinking increased. At first it was three, then five, eight, twelve, eighteen, twenty five… before long, she could walk on the lake water no problem.

She even progressed to running and gliding across the water without any guidance from Samuru.

Hinata walked up on shore and headed towards Samuru laughing in joy, "I have done, I mastered the water walking technique"

Samuru didn't respond immediately, his mind had enter over drive because Hinata who kept falling in the water was dripping wet and her wet clothes were sticking to her highlighting her developing body.

"Damn, she is going to be fine when she matures. May be I should rethink being in to older woman only, may some of my age mates might become…"

"It's you…" came a voice that interrupted his thoughts.

Samuru turned the source and found Sasuke Uchiha standing Itachi Uchiha.

"I see you woke up, how was your morning nap?" he said as he stood up and put himself between the Uchiha brothers and Hinata. Samuru instincts where telling him a fight was about to breakout.

"You… that was a lucky hit. Next time you won't be so luck" shouted Sasuke as he walked to ward but was held back by Itachi.

Samuru laughed and with a sigh he said "Sasuke, Sasuke…with out an a woken Sharingan of three tomoe, it impossible to even begin to understand the difference between you and me."

"Why you…" he began to say but Itachi spoke up, "he is right Sasuke, you are no way near as powerful as him. Even I might not be able to fight him without having to use Sharingan."

Sasuke and Hinata were shocked at this statement. They both had knowledge about Itachi and knew he was one of the most power ninja in the village, how could an 8 year old boy be as powerful as him.

Samuru smiled as he looked at Itachi, "How about a friendly duel to test out our skills?" he asked.

Itachi narrowed his eyes as he looked at Samuru, "Don't get over confident because I gave you a compliment" he said.

"It's okay to be scared Itachi, even I wouldn't want to fight me" he said with a grin.

The cool Itachi final lost his cool, how could a kid think it's better than him, "fine, the lake will be the battle ground"

Both Samuru and Itachi walked on the lake to reach a point far enough from the shore.

They both took positions across from each other.

The lake went quiet as the world seen to hold its breathe in anticipation.

Suddenly, both Samuru and Itachi vanished which was followed by an explosive bang as water rose up to show Itachi guarding a fits attack from form Samuru.

Then both jumped away from each other with Itachi performing a series of hands seal, [fire style: giant fire ball jutsu]. A massive ball of fire appeared and began rotating before shooting towards Samuru.

Samuru also quick execute hands seals, [water style: water wall]

The fire ball hit the water wall and exploded in to mist and water vapour.

Samuru followed his defence with and attack, [water style: water dragon missile]. The water on the lake rose up and formed a dragon them launched itself at Itachi.

Itachi wasn't fazed and he to sent his own attack water dragon missile, the two concluded and cancel them selves out.

The exchange was saw fast Sasuke and Hinata would see the execution of the techniques, only the final result.

"I am impressed with your knowledge and execution of jutsu, It's at a Jōnin level" said Itachi.

"Thank you. Now it's time to force you to use your Sharingan"

"Oh and how are you going to do that because I can match you ever technique with easy" replied a confident Itachi.

"That's what you think" Samuru said with a smile as he vanished.

Samuru reappeared in the air above the lake and began to perform a series on hand seals. He had no idea where he learnt it from, all he knew was one day he woke up and the hand seals were engraved in his mind.

[Fire style: Great Fire Annihilation].

A sea of flames came out of Samuru's mouth and covered the entire area of the lake leaving on space to escape.

Itachi's eye iris turned red as his Sharingan appeared then it turn in to Mangekyō Sharingan [Susanoo] he called out as a purple rib cage appeared and covered him. The flames where so intense that Hinata and Sasuke on the shore had to run away from the lake.

When the flames finally died down and the steaming on lake finally cleared, it revealed Itachi deactivating his Susanoo and looking at laughing Samuru.

"I told you I would force you to use your Sharingan"

Itachi was shaken up, if he did awaken his Mangekyō and then his Susanoo about a month ago, he would be died.

"I am impressed, now I can stop holding back and go all out" he said

"Yes, let's go all out" replied Samuru with a crazed smile.

The duo were preparing for around two when the voice of a woman scream out, "SAMURU YOU ARE SKIPPING CLASS SO THAT YOU CAN COME OUT HERE TO FIGHT…."

Samuru's battle craze mind cleared when he saw his mother.

"Hey mum… I explain" he stammered

"No you won't, get your ass here, we are heading home to have a conversation you will not be liking" she said

Samuru sighed as he vanished from the lake and reappeared next to his mother.

She looked at him then turned and walked away.

Samuru turned to a shocked Sasuke and Hinata, smiled and waved then followed his mother.
