Chapter 5

I said sorry to Mrs. Baker and I can't sense any fear from her, only worry.

"Where are you going, San?", I didn't say a word, I then grabbed to my pocket and gave her every gold I have and then walk away, good thing it was raining so the Orphanage didn't burnt out, "I Know that you have a long journey ahead and my journey is almost over, pleass do me a favor, i don't have much time left, Put me down beside the childrens and for one final time call me 'Mom' please" Mrs. Baker said as her life was going away little by little, San then quietly carried Mrs. Baker and put her down beside the burning childrens corpse, San then said "Rest well....Mom" after San said that, Mrs. Baker cried a little and died with a smile, San then looked down and cried and sobbed really hard as he is alone in this world, his family and place to stay are gone.

Sitrius arrived but only saw pools of blood, and a burning mountain of children corpses, the Demonic aura disappeared and she saw her student there standing crying, and then she remembered,"The only commoner that got into the Gun Yan Academy, i bet this is his home but what about the Demonic aura..?, If i recalled he placed last, It can't be him that emitted that immense Demonic Aura i think it's just my imagination" Sitrius sighed and then thought of what happened to the Immense Demonic Aura earlier, She then left and speculate that it was just a Random Spectrum that appears randomly and affects those that can use detection magic, and no damage influcted on the nearby buildig except a burning Orphanage, "Hmmm a burnt orphanage.... it's raining and the fire's already extinguished so it can't be a Demon Flame" Sitrius sighed as it is really just a Random Spectrum

Demon Flame is a purple flame that are emitted by high ranking demons, and usually can only be extinguished by holy magic, and water doesn't work on them, they burn everything and stop burning when the caster stopped transmitting mana to the flame.

Sitrius left with her teleportation magic back to her office and saw Claudius still there and awaits her return when she returned he said "Welcomr back Principal, how did it go?",Sitrius sighed and answered "Only a Random Spectrum, nothing to worry about" , Claudius sighed and said "That's a relieve, I haven't told my wife that I may be late for dinner", Sitrius then smiled towards Claudius, she wondered in her heart, when will she become a wife and waits for his husband to come home and welcomes him home, She then stared at the Sunset as the rainclouds were clearing away.

Back To San...

The Rain clears and then he went inside the Orphanage to see any items he can save, he only found a few things that survived but most of them are useless, his clothes were burnt and he only has the Uniform only and low on money, he then remembered that Mrs. Baker kept her precious thing inside a safe that is located behind the Dog Painting in her room, San then removed the Painting and found a safe yet he can't open it without a key, but the key was lost in the fire, he went into the Warehouse and found a Crowbar, the others were tools but San thought those are going to weight him down, he used the Crowbar to open the safe and found some money, about 200 Gold coins, he put it in his bag 100 coins, and leave the rest, he also found a little purse.

San thought that it was just a normal purse but he can felt a strong protective barrier around it, he took it and the moment his hand touches the Purse, the protective barrier deactivated, he then opened the purse and found 2 rings inside, one is a purple crimson ring that emits a strong aura, and the other is a White with golden stripes that seems to be an item bag, a high one at that.

San then wears the ring and suddenly Alfred showed up, not in his Subconscious but in front of him, covered in golden light.

Alfred then chuckles "I see you have found the last thing Me and your mother can give you, the White with golden stripes is an item storage, that can store infinite amount of items and I stored my favoritr weapon in there, wear it on your ring finger and tap it twice to activate it", So I did what I was told and suddenly it glows and I don't know what to do, Alfred then said again "The Code is Shadow Knife", So then Said "SHADOW KNIFE!!l" full of confidence and a strange Knife appeared on my hand, it got an interesting shaped in to it, it's a really thin knife with sharp edges yet the design looked like it was meant for stabbing, Alfred then explained "That is the Shadow Knife, it was gifted to me by your mother, it can create endless copy of itself and multiplied, as long as you held the original one, and you don't need to worry about losing it, it has it's own soul and recoginzes you as it's master, now concentrate and pour mana into the knife"

As soon as he said that, I poured mana to the knife and suddenly it emits a dark smoke and entangled my arm, as if it didn't want to let go, I tried to drop it but it won't work, I tried to swing it everywhere but it still won't come off,

Alfred seeing what I did explained more "It won't come off unless you stopped pouring mana to it, and when you pour mana into it, it remembers the taste of your mana, and it can return to your hand incase you forgot where it is, just relax and you will have a feeling of where it is, just think of it returns to your hand and it should be flying to your hand, using this, you can stab an enemy from behind the back, it works with the Weapon clones, so it is much easier for you to stab multiple targets, but remember!, angle it well because it can only returns to you, you can throw it yet you can't levitate it" Alfred closed his eyes and starts to think about something, and he opened his eyes and said "The moment you can only summon up to 10 Clones it will grow as your mana grows, which means as you are training, you unconsciously train it too, Well the moment you are still Human... well 66% human and 33% demon, you becoming a god is a long way to go and you need to improve your skills, now let's meet a friend of mine, and i suggest you contact the Headmaster that tomorrow you'll be absent and we will begin training for a year", Wait.... training for a year yet absent for one day?... how is that possible, well considering things that have been happening now, it's no longer weird to me right now, let me just follow him and learn, i have so much to learn, but then i said to him "at least let me enjoy first day of school, i need to get friends i can trust" while smiling i said that to him and expect him to disagree yet, "Fine, but i'm warning you, they see you nothing but a bug, and you're not that handsome even skinny, that black hair and crimson eyes looks like you just put on make up, but those are you mother's eyes and hair, i hope you become as strong as her, and i hope you don't get her appetite, it's truly horrible....." I then looked back to the mountain of corpse and Mrs. Baker and said "See you later... everyone.... and thanks for the last 16 years... really had a blast.... rest well Lily, Marc, Tina, Atin, Dennis...." i smiled and cried my tears off as i walk with Alfred well to be exact Alfred is floating and only San can see, I sighed and then Alfred suggested to go to and abandoned shack or warehouse, just on the outskirts of the slums, it is said to be haunted so nobody wanted to rent or buy it even destroy it doesn't come to mind, San slept there with his uniform, and he was staring at the ceiling, and it's only a small shack he doesn't care about Ghost or anything, he then rubbed his rings and fell asleep.
