AMIRA'S POV

"Why should I hire you? This is Smith's and I am strictly looking for an eligible employee that can work beyond my expectations"

"Because I am good in everything, I can do whatever you want me to do" diretsong sagot niya.

Pinagmasdan ko siya mula ulo hanggang paa kaya kumunot ang noo niya. I am currently picking MY employees inside my business. This is a bit tiring but I am just making sure about who we are entering in this company. Yeah. Sad to say I am currently handling this entire-- what we call that? Treasure?

"How can you say you are good in everything?"

"I will do anything you want miss and I need to earn money" I just took a sigh and gave her a fake smile.

"Then if you can do anything why you didn't write 'anything' in your resume, you should put something that anyone can't do, as you said you can to anything"

Doing whatever I want even that make him/her feel bad is a bit you know--- ayoko ng ganun. Doing things you didn't like will leads you to any trouble. Well, I am just sure for what I think is right. I am just picking someone who can prove me wrong and can shut my mouth.

"I am referring for something miss"

"If I will tell you jump in my building, will you do it?" baliw to! Anything daw eh! Hahahaha.

"If you wish miss"

"If you do that, you can no longer work in my company so this interview is just a waste, how can I gave you the money? Will your soul can hold my money? Besides you can no longer give a service if you're dead so how can you earn money in that way?"

"Ahmm"

"Before you speak think what will be the outcome of your words, starting today you should change your perspective. I will just call you" lumabas na siya kaya napatingin ako sa secretary ko na kanina pa naghihintay.

"Miss it's already 1:27 in the afternoon, what can I buy for your lunch?"

"Thanks for the concern ava but I can help myself just one more applicant and I will quickly leave this building" ngumiti lang siya at lumabas na ng opisina. Maya maya pa ay may pumasok na namang babae.

"G-good m-m-m-morning ma'am"

"Miss, call me miss amira" binuksan ko na yung resume niya at binasa ang konting detalye.

"I-I'm sorry maam-- M-miss a-amira" I just nod at her. Not bad but my standards are based on how they answer and talk to me that's why I chose this kind of set up. Sinabi ko ulit ang kanina ko pa pabalik balik na tanong.

"Why should I hire?"

"M-maam, I-I-I c-can work--" binaba ko ang resume niya at tumingin ng diretso sa kanya.

"Go on~ don't be nervous~" kalmadong sabi ko hahaha natakot ko ata sa tanong ko. Huminga siya ng malalim na parang doon nilabas ang nerbyos niya.

"I-I can work without any doubts" umayos siya ng tayo kaya ngumiti ako nang unti unti nang umayos ang pagsasalita niya "I know smith's is remarkably excellent when we are talking about clothing industry, I as a employee I will surely prove to you how deserving I am in this position"

"In what way? Impressing me?" umiling siya kaya napasandal ang siko ko sa mesa at sinuri siya ng mabuti.

"No, but as long as I am working under your name I will work and will never give up until my job done, I will maintain and follow what is inside of this"

"Say what I want to hear don't be too flowery"

"I may not a perfect employee but loyalty is the best I can offer for you miss" sumandal ako sa upuan ko at napataas ang kilay sa sagot niya.

"I heard that word before but still didn't worked. How can I assure that you're loyalty is factual? What if someday, someone will offer you for a bigger price than our's? What if you love that certain offer than here?"

"That's just 'if' and we'll see besides I came here for I love this job, they will regret for not hiring me in the first place" I smirked and put my chin under my palm.

"So you're saying you're that special for they will regret?" nagkibit balikat siya kaya itatabi ko na sana ang resume niya nang magsalita pa siya.

"They won't hire me personally if I wasn't that special, they knew that I already have my job then why would they hire me and ask me to leave my job where I love the most? Loyalty? I believe in that as you work and hired, as you give your employer your loyalty, trust will come out and so on and so forth, I am just an ordinary person and I can't offer anything but the values" napasandal ako sa upuan at napaisip ng maayos. Tama naman siya. May point siya. Binuksan ko ulit ang resume niya kaya nacurios ako sa pangalan niya. Olivia Stemar.

"Amazing" yun nalang ang nasabi ko. Ilalagay ko na sana sa mga folder na napili ko ang resume niya nang awtomatikong mapakunot ang noo ko sa narinig.

"If  you want love, you gon' have to go through the pain~ If you want love, you gon' have to learn how to change~ If you want trust, you gon' have to give some away~ If you want love, if you want love---" napahawak ako sa noo ko kaya tumigil siya ugghh what's with her??! I know that today is valentines but she shouldn't do that!!

"Do you want me to change my mind?" naiiling na tanong ko sa kanya.

"Whaaat?? So I'm hired miss??? Happy valentines!!" napatulala nalang ako ng bigla siyang tumakbo palabas. Since hindi ako bitter tatanggapin ko parin siya. Magcecelebrate din ako ng valentines nuh! HEHEHE guess who??-- yiiiieee maya na!

Bumukas ulit ang pinto at pumasok na si ace. Umayos na ako ng upo para iligpit ang mga gamit.

"Happy valentines my amir" nagpoker face ako sa kanya kaya natatawa lang siyang hinalikan ako sa pisngi. Tumayo na ako "You're free this afternoon?"

"Ahmm yeah, why?"

"I just want to ask a date with you" napatingin ako sa kanya at ngumiti "I'll take that as a yes"

*sigh* nang matapos na ako ay hinawakan na niya ang kamay ko at hinila na palabas.

"Where are we going today?"

"That's a surprise, you'll see" nagroll eye ako at napatingin sa ibang empleyado na nakatingin sa amin. Nah, they used to see us both since I and ace are officially together just last last year hahaha. By the way, 4 years had been passed and I am now officially fine and contented from what I have now. Without ace I cannot reach this kind of success. He taught me 'this' and 'that'.

"Siguraduhin mong makakalimutan ko ang pangalan ko sa pagdalhan mo sa akin hahaha" he started the engine and immediately drove the car. I just look at my phone and check the new york's time. 

Good feedbacks made me want to do more in this business. Honestly, I am loving this job and I didn't regret that I tried to do these things.

They were right--- nakakaproud kapag naririnig at nakikita mo ang pangalan mo kahit saang papel, internet, magazine at iba pa. Lahat ng pinaghirapan mo para lang tumaas pa to ay nababawi lahat kapag nakikita mo ang magandang resulta nito. Now I understand.
