Dungeon Tings

Rocks were sent flying our way, but I swatted them away as we saw who caused the explosion. From the smoke 7 figures could be seen. Dong-suk looked at us surprised for a moment before the guys next to him spoke.

"They're still alive?"

"What happened to the boss?"

"Did they kill it alone?"

Dong-suk and his group didn't move as both sides looked at each other. He stayed silent as he looked at us with a serious expression.

"Yoo Jin-Ho! I searched you up because your equipment was flashy and you turned out to actually be the son of someone great. Yoo Jin architectures chairman Yoo Myeong-Han." Dong-suk said with a shitty grin.

"S-so what!?" Jin-Ho yelled back.

"I want to talk about something with your father. We'll give you a chance if you…kill hunters Sung Jinwoo and Sung Mingyoo." He said with a smile.

"Kill them and join our group. It's the only way to survive." He added as the rest if his group smiled maliciously.

Jin-Ho looked at the both of us and took out his sword and shield before pointing it at the other group.

"I see." Dong-suk said. The guy with long hair shot a burst of light magic at Jinwoo that sent him flying into a wall. His hand the turned towards me as he shot a light bullet at me.

I side stepped it and ran towards him as I was taking my sword out if my inventory. Once I was close enough I swung the sword and it cut his body in half effortlessly.

Blood gushed out of his body and his organs were all visible. Suddenly a surge bloodlust rushed over us as I stopped to look at Jinwoo standing up with purple lightning coming off of his body.

It wasn't anything like the werewolf's bloodlust, so I wasn't really affected. Without saying a word Jinwoo shot forward and cut the head off one of Dong-suk party members.

The number was now down to five and he wasn't able to be the only one taking care of these guys. I dashed to the left and put my sword up before spin kicking one in the stomach.

Coughing up fountains of blood he was sent flying through the dungeon wall. I went to another one that tried to slash at me, but I grabbed his wrist, broke his arm and cut his body in half with my sword after taking it out of my inventory.

Jinwoo had already killed the other two and had just smashed Dong-suk's head into the ground.

"Leader Hwang Dong-suk, you're strong but there's one thing you don't know. I'm always leveling up ceaselessly." He said in a cold voice as he stood over Dong-suk.

'So he has a system as well?' I thought as I leaned on the cave walls.

"Wait, spare me. I'll give you money. You can have all the mana and magic crystals here!!" He said desperately.

"After trying to kill me you beg for forgiveness?" Jinwoo asked.

"Do you think you could get away with something like this?!"

"Didn't you say nobody knows what happens in a dungeon?"

"M-MY LITTLE BROTHER WOULD TEAR YOU APART IF YOU EVEN LAID A FINGER ON ME!!" He yelled.

"Honestly you're pathetic." I commented. After that Jinwoo swung his dagger across his neck and his head flew off his head.

"I guess that's that huh?" I said as I picked up and axe and started hacking away at the mana crystals. I might be in another world with money, but I still got that broke boy mentality.

If I can get money I'll get it.

….

After harvesting what we could of the mana and magic crystals we left the dungeon since it was closing. We parted ways after turning in the crystals for money onto our account.

We shared it evenly and all got around 3 million won. After getting a ways away from them I used [Cloud Movement] and my body started fading into a cloud that seemed to be carried by the wind.

It cost 100 MP and had a cool down of 30 minutes. Originally it was an 1 hour and 30 minutes, but I leveled it up a lot while in the first ID. I appeared in front of my appeared in front of my apartment complex.

I walked in and went to my apartment were I didn't wait to throw my clothes into a garbage bag and hop in the shower. While in there I noticed I grew a bit more. Me and Sung Jinwoo are around the same height with the same age looks.

Well we look more like adults, but I'm only 15. I looked over my body and saw that it was well developed. The stat points don't play about perfection. My abs and muscles are perfectly proportional, so my 6 pack doesn't look disgusting.

I decided that I had done enough flexing and being narcissistic as I left my bathroom in a towel and went to my dresser to get some clothes. Afterwards I made something for me to eat and watched TV.

—Hunters Association—

"Manager Yoo Jin-cheul. A moment please." Said a man in a tuxedo. He was average looking with messy black hair and holding papers.

The man he was talking to also wore a tuxedo, but had sharp eyes. His orange hair was slick back with only a strand hanging out and he had black eyes.

"What is it." He asked.

"In this C-rank dungeon raid 8 people were killed. The survivors were 1 D-rank and two E-ranks." He said as he handed him the papers.

"So they ran away. Isn't that a common occurrence?" Jin-cheul asked.

"No, the dungeon was cleared by them." The guy said. Yoo Jin-cheul looked at him seriously as he nodded his head.

"The D-rank hunter was Yoo Jin-Ho. He had some unique equipment so it was possible that the boss was defeated by him. The boss Giant Arachnid Buryura shouldn't have been too much of a threat to organized parties, so it's strange 8 people died."

"One of the E-rank hunters Sung Ming-yoo was a recently awakened person and has only been an adventurer for a few weeks. From the looks of it, this has been his first dungeon raid."

"If there's something strange just get to the point." Jin-cheul said.

"Well the other E-rank hunter was Sung Jin-woo."

"Well let's let it go for now. We already made sure that hunter Sung Jin-woo wasn't a reawakened person, so we'll just have to mark it as them KIA." Jun-cheul said.

"I was thinking the same thing, but one of the bodies was the body of Hwang Dong-suk."

"You mean Hwang Dong-su's older brother?"

"Yes."

"In that case I can't just ignore this." He said with a serious expression on his face. Dong-su was a S-rank hunter in America. Who knows what he'll do if he found out his brother died.

….

—A few hours later—

(First POV)

"I need more quests or dungeons. Sitting around here all day is a bit boring. Should I just start bomb rushing dungeons? I need other people to get in though." I leaned back and sighed.

"So how do I do this? I want to do this for myself though without people constantly looking at me. Going into a dungeon without the proper amount of people would be going against the hunter Associations rules."

'Fuck it. I can live with breaking some rules, but I have to get in and out of the dungeon. Although I do want to know how they know if I'm going in alone. Do I have to register or something?' I just got up and went to bed.

If I take a good thirty minutes in the dungeon I can get anywhere with [Cloud Movement] so I should be fine.

….

—Next Day—

Again I woke up and put on some joggers and a sweat shirt along with some running shoes as I got a bottle of cold water from my refrigerator and left my apartment to go to the park.

Once I got there I decided to go ahead and finish my daily quest for the status points and distribute them later. I got down and started to do the pushups, but just 100 wasn't rly doing anything anymore, so I decided to just go till I get tired or the system tells me to stop.

In the end most of my workouts had a limit of 400. I stood up straight after doing my squats and drank some water. After that I took off in a light sprint.

'So how an I supposed to unlock the next dungeon anyway? Is there some hint or something? The last dungeon, just opened because I reached a certain level, so am I not a high enough level to unlock it?' I thought as I ran to the side of someone walking their dog.

As I was running I felt a familiar presence and looked to my right. I had just passed Hunter Sung Jin-woo with a girl nice looking girl.

She had a slender body, gray eyes, and brownish-black hair that was styled into a ponytail. She was wearing a jacket with the zipper down over a white shirt and track shorts with tights under them.

'Sister maybe? They seem to be around the same age with Jin-woo looking more mature.' I thought. Sung Jin-woo wore a blue jacket over a gray shirt with black joggers. We made eye contact as I was running by and I nodded at him before continuing my run.

….

The max on my running is 40km. After that I went back home and to take a shower and eat some food. Afterwards I sat down to distribute my 10 stat points.

After adjusting my stat points I saw my Rank go from C+ to B. Then a system message appeared.

[D-Rank dungeon unlocked

Difficulty:

Easy

Moderate

Hard]

After clearing the E rank dungeon the first time a set of difficulties were shown for me to choose. I of course did them all, but even at hard, I didn't get much of anything.

The only reason I can think of having these options now are because I might be too strong. Did it not expect me to grind out the dungeon for levels?

'Probably not.' I thought as I tapped on Moderate. If I tapped easy it most likely would just be on the same difficulty as a normal D rank dungeon.

I saw the letter change from D to C- and I tapped the accept option. Once again my body was covered in a bright light and I appeared somewhere else.
