Arriving on the roof of the building opposite to the FBH Headquarters, Perseus checked the time on his watch.

7:45 p.m.

According to the scouting he did for the past few days this was the most opportune time to take out all patrol guards.

There was a 15 minute window when the natural sunlight was at its lowest throughout the entire day and the lamps were still unlit , hence the overall visibility was at its lowest.

Using this short window, Perseus leapt down from the building and aimed his sword at the heart of the guard that looked to be the strongest.

Swish - kacha!

A white streamer, like a shooting star rising into the sky, flashed through the middle of the guard from bottom to top.

In the next second, the muscular man, close to 2 metres in height, was suddenly cut in two and his blood and intestines spilled out onto the floor.

One couldn't even see the change of expression on his face.

At this time, the person who split the person in two finally appeared. Just as the remaining 5 guards were about to call for alert the HQ, another 'swishing' sound could be heard, followed by 5 thudding noises.

Stepping on bits and pieces of the guard's brains, Perseus fished out a walkie-talkie from the guard captain's dead body.

Once he entered the FBH Headquarters, he altered his voice using mana and alerted HQ that there were S Rank intruders on the southern side of the building. Without waiting for a response, Perseus broke the walkie-talkie and tossed it away.

From start to finish, Perseus didn't take more than 2 minutes.

Phase 2 of the mission was also a success , no one in the guard of the royal vault was any wiser as nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Just then, he heard blaring sirens reverberating throughout the entire building. Smirking to himself, he knew his plan had worked and continued with the rest of his plans.

Perseus made his way to floor B23 , where gate items were kept. He started counting the vents until he found vent number 34.

He removed the vent to show a narrow secret passage underneath.

Perseus swiftly entered the passage, careful not to make the slightest noise. Thanks to the gruelling training he had since young, the 2km crawl was quickly finished, and he was left with 1 more kilometre before he finally reached Floor B24.

After an arduous half an hour he finally reached the end of the horizontal movement chamber and came to the vent on floor B24..

Catching his breath, Perseus was amused to find himself sweating and panting, he could tell that his vitality was deteriorating quickly and he wouldn't even make it to 25 at this rate.

Slowly and steadily, Perseus firmly planted his feet on the walls, and exerted pressure on the tiles to finally catch a glimpse of Kamish's Corpse. Perseus wanted nothing more than to just fling the vent grill away with all his strength; however he restrained his desire while slowly moving the vent grill towards the left, providing an opening.

When enough of the grill was slid , he placed his hands at the side and pushed it wide open , to finally climb into the vault.

Regulating his temperature and breathing, Perseus took a few breaths before slowly lowering himself into the vault.

Finally after much difficulty he had entered the vault where Kamish's Corpse was kept. He slowly walked towards Kamish's Corpse, only to find himself open-mouthed when he saw a Crimson-Gold Scale under Kamish's neck.

He pinched himself twice as he thought 'is this for real?'.
