As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. "You don't need to tell me the location now. When we've confirmed you're safe, you can tell me then," Korede said. "I just want to know if you know the location."`
"I do," Gabriela confirmed.
"That's good then," Korede nodded. "As for the call, that was the CIA agent I mentioned. He confirmed someone placed a hit on you. Now, most of the crooks and gangs in the city are looking for you."
Gabriela didn't seem surprised by this.
Anyone who could order a hit against her had to be influential. It makes sense such a person can get the gangs to come after her.
While the gang might be afraid of the Garcia cartel and won't act against her directly. The gangs can, at least, provide eyes for the person.
