Alliance of Four Guilds

After Makarov sends Natsu to get Porlyusica to treat everyone that was badly injured.

She rushed over with Natsu only to find almost everyone alright except for Laxus and the Thunder God Tribe and asks, "Natsu told me that everyone was badly injured. But now I see that it was only those four. Did the boy lie to me?"

"He didn't it's just that one of my newest members can use healing magic it seems," says Makarov self-surprised by Jack's many talents as he continues, "He just doesn't want to help those four."

Porlyusica walks over and they go to the back room where all the beds are and lay all for on the beds in there. She treats them and says, "They were hit by a lightning bolt. They can call themselves lucky to be alive."

"A lightning bolt are you sure it wasn't lightning magic?" asks Makarov curiously.

"I'm pretty sure since lightning magic wouldn't be this effective against Laxus and today somehow a nice day turned cloudy and Lightning was hitting over the city exactly four times. I think someone was manipulating Nature itself to make that feat," says Porlyusica after treating them.

"So he can manipulate nature good to know," says Makarov as he confuses Porlyusica, who gives him a stare that is saying "Don't keep it to yourself."

"I mean the newcomer that healed the others. He dragged all of them back without a single scratch on him," says Makarov trying to explain to Porlyusica what he meant.

"So you don't think he was sent by someone to control Fairy Tail?" asks Porlyusica seriously.

"Don't think so he just sits in a corner and reads his book and even evades the brawls that happen until the end," says Makarov as he sits beside Laxus's bed.

"I will leave you alone then," says Porlyusica as she leaves the room.

Makarov stayed for a while in the room and exiled Laxus and the Thunder God Tribe from the guild as he returns to the hall and says, "We have no time to waste. We need to prepare for the Parade."

Everyone worked together to make the Fantasia Parade a success. Everything was ready for the parade and it all worked out. They were parading around the city while Jack was watching from the sideline when Porlyusica says, "You are not joining them."

"No, I'm not made to be in the light like them. I might look like a hero but that doesn't mean I am," says Jack as he sees the parade.

"So you healed the others but not the other four, why?" asks Porlyusica frankly.

"Because I'm not a hero and they dared to attack someone that is similar to my brother. I won't say much more," says Jack as he leaves for the Guild Hall as the parade was going on outside.

'I don't have time for this,' thinks Jack as he touches his chest and feels some pain and says, "He really nerfed my powers. Thanks for the Healing Magic I'm still in one piece."

Jack heals his internal burns while looking through the book arriving on some Magic that he recognized as the one Natsu utilizes. He begins to read in this type of magic but stopped to have an interest when he read that he could turn to an actual dragon because of the magic. Just imagining himself the Monkey King becoming a Dragon. That would be a big mutation of his body.

He skipped this section and arrived at God Slaying Magic and Devil Slayer Magic and he reads through them before turning back to the Dragon Slayer Magic and thinks, 'All this magic sound strong but compared to my actual powers it's quite weak. Elemental Magic was quite fast and easy to learn the same with Healing Magic as all follow the same pattern. Focus, Point and Shoot.'

The book turned to one of the first pages and he sees the Summoning Magic. 'I might give it a try.' Then Jack enters the back room and lies in one of the bed and looks over to the side where the other four should be only to find vacant beds. 'They must have left the moment everyone went to the parade.'

Jack closes his eyes and begins to sleep.

The days pass and Jack was training in summoning magic as he found it quite easy as if he had an affinity to it. He summoned some a cute furball he named Fenrir. In the book, it says that it is a Carbuncle. It was quite slim since it could sit on anyone's shoulder.

The girls were always after it while the guys saw him as a little thief since he always stole their food and ran to get protected to the girls. Jack still didn't graduate from the Guild Hall still sleeping in the backroom since he slowly began to save the jewels he earned as a male model to buy some land and build a house on it to bring his family over when they want to go on a vacation.

Then Makarov summons him, Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Gray and Erza and says, "Okay, I want you six to form a team for this mission."

"Why do I have to go too?" asks Jack confused.

"There is big money in this for you," whispers Makarov to Jack, who only nods and doesn't says anything.

"You all will form a team like said. Your assignment is to destroy a major part of the Balam Alliance. For that you will meet with the other Guilds that will send their representatives for the mission," says Makarov as he explains how important this mission is.

Then he turns to Jack and whispers, "I know you are strong Jack so keep an eye out for them and the others. I trust that you will bring them safely back."

"Fine, I'm getting paid after all," whispers Jack back as the group was staring holes into Jack.

They were on the train and Natsu wasn't feeling well as Fenrir sits on Jack's shoulder eating some dried meat and Erza asks, "What were you and the Master talking about?"

"We were talking about my pay in keeping you safe," says Jack frankly.

"Really?" says Lucy surprised.

"Yes, after all, we are going after the Balam Alliance that means trouble and I'm normally the one that makes trouble disappear if I'm not a poster boy," says Jack is he was keeping Mirajane safe every time the gangster returned giving them an Ultimatum last time that he would kill them if they return.

"So who are our allies?" asks Lucy curiously.

"I don't know," says Jack as he really didn't know.

"It's the Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, and Cait Shelter. They will be our allies in this battle," says Erza as they arrive at the station they needed to leave the train to keep going on foot.

They arrive at the meeting place when the group of men from Blue Pegasus welcomed them. They greeted first the girls leaving Natsu and Gray out when they noticed Jack and they stop and one of them says, "The Cold King."

"The Cold King?" asks Gray confused.

"That's my stage name in the wizard magazine," says Jack as he ignores them when the next group arrives.

It was the group from Lamia Scale. A little fight broke out that stopped when the last member of the Lamia Scale appeared and stopped them.

After everyone calmed down the last group arrived it was only a girl and her cat. Jack was feeling like the last guild was shiting on them and send only one person and a speaking cat.

They were beginning to form a plan under the leadership of Lamia Scales Team Leader Jura.

"So we go in defeat the people and put them in prison?" asks Jack, who didn't like the plan even one bit.

"Do you have a better plan?" asks Jura seriously.

"How about we kill them instead of taking them in. So we can be sure they won't return after serving their time," says Jack making many people open their eyes wide in shock that he would kill without a reason. The poor girl from Cait Shelter wasn't feeling good.

"You sure you don't belong to a Dark Guild," says Jura seriously staring at Jack angrily.

"I'm just no fool. If I pull the weed out then I pull it completely so it doesn't grow back. But we are going with your plan. My job is to follow it and keep my team safe," says Jack as he backs off.

"I'm sorry about Jack, he doesn't mean what he said," says Erza trying to apologize for Jack's behavior.

They prepare to leave the meeting place towards where the Balam Alliance when Fenrir sits on the little girl's head and lies down to sleep.

"Someone help," says the little girl nervous since she saw that Fenrir belongs to Jack and she feared him.

"Don't worry girl. I won't do anything just because Fenrir likes you. I will let him stay with you to keep you safe while we are fighting the enemy. Aren't I right, Fenrir," says Jack as Fenrir opens one of his eyes and saluting with his tail looking like he was agreeing to it.

"See. Just don't try the impossible alright," says Jack as he puts a hand on the little girl's shoulder then he asks, "What's your name?"

"Wendy Marvell and this is Carla," says Wendy as she felt nervous around Jack.

"I will try to keep you safe if I can also try not to protect Fenrir he might look cute and small but he can be quite the ferocious beast if he needs to be it," says Jack as Fenrir opens both eyes and protests about what Jack now told making Wendy calm down.

Jack leaves her side and joined the other when Carla says, "Maybe he isn't as scary as we think he is."

"Maybe," says Wendy when Fenrir hits her forehead lightly making it look like a cute protest to defend his master.

They leave as they enter a wide area that looked like it wasn't touched by civilization. Jura was in front while Jack was in the rear making sure nothing attacks them from behind.

Arriving at where they are supposed to intercept the people of the Balam Alliance Jack feels that something is definitely wrong.

"Magic is sleeping around here," says Jack as Erza turns around.

"What do you mean?" asks Erza confused.

"It feels like something of magical nature is sleeping around here," says Jack as he tries to pinpoint the location when he feels people approaching and says, "I think we just walked into a trap."

"Are we surrounded?" asks Erza as she looks around.

"No, but I can feel six people approaching us and they are quite strong," says Jack as Erza walks up to inform Jura about the situation.

"If what he says is true then we should fight them head-on and get it over with so we can focus on why they lured us here," says Jura when the six people suddenly appeared in front of them.
