Tell him truth!

"Yes, of course. But then you will have to give me in writing that you will not kill her and will not throw her out until she has learnt sufficiently.`` The old man was shrewd enough to ask me not to touch the girl. It was equal to tying my hands yet I nodded.

The will to get that land was so strong that if he would have asked for everything I had, even then I would have said yes.

He clapped his hands happily, not even trying to hide the delight he was feeling while the girl just continued to sit there and observe all of us.

"Since the matter is already solved. Let us have dinner together." said the man and I shook my head.

"Since the matter is solved, I would request his majesty to allow me to leave. I have certain tasks to do." The man looked at me, raising a brow, but I continued to sit there calmly under his intense pressure.

"My son was looking forward to having dinner with you. He will be very disappointed that you have brought a company but still it is better than abandoning him alone, isn't it?" there was mirth in his eyes that i could not let go of. So, this was not the end! He still wanted a show!?

"You can always call lady Eliana to give company to his highness, after all she is the one who is serving him these days. Am I right, his majesty?" I asked , tilting my head as I took a sip of the drink I had snatched from his hands. While he continued to look at my drink.

"You have not taken even a sip of your drink, your majesty. If i did not know about your age and health issues i would have thought there is poison in it.'' I smiled brightly as I looked at him and then turned to the boy.

"You should not let the grace of his majesty go. Didn't he ask you to serve him a drink? Why don't you serve him the drink from the wine we have brought for him?" he looked at me confused as i moved my hand being me and took out a bottle.

"This is the wine i brought specially for you, your majesty. It has been brewed for more than a hundred years in my own wine cellar.`` I passed the bottle to the boy who looked stunned and took the bottle with hesitation. Taking the new glass from the cabin, he poured the drink and served it to him.

"Shouldn't the wine be kept for some special moment?" he asked, hesitating and I smiled.

"Isn't the moment special your majesty. I have finally got my property back and you have fulfilled the promise to the girl." there was nothing mixed in the drink, yet the fear and hesitation he had in his eyes were filling my heart with joy.

The man, the owner of this empire was nothing but a scumbag and power hungry monster in my eyes who was trying to kill me and my family since long, so that he could have the right over the richest estate.,

"Your grace." I have never felt the itch when the girl called me in her lusty voice. The way she was looking at me and her clothes, if i did not know any better i would have thought that she was trying to seduce me. Shouldn't a girl like her be kept for men!?

"As you said, the age and health of your majesty is not appropriate to drink so much. Let me have this drink on his behalf," she replied and before I could nod, her hands moved and took the glass from Evans. Her hands stilled on glass for more than needed as she continued to rub his hands in front of all of us.

Evans hesitated and moved his hands away as if his hands burnt. The girl smirked and drank the contents in one gulp and then looked back at me as if challenging me.

"I shall take my leave then.'' The man finally nodded, realizing that the situation was going out of hand and I stood up and walked to the door. Evans followed me like an obedient pet.

"Your grace, I have a request." called the woman again and followed us.

I tuned only to see that the thin strap of her dress was falling. She walked sultry towards us, showing all her assets appropriately.

"If a sire could come to take me to the palace. I am afraid I would not be able to come to your grace's place alone." she replied in a pitiful voice.

"I will send my most trusted knights to escort you. But I am afraid my partner is not a servant to escort people like you." her eyes widened as she looked at me and then tears welled into her eyes as she looked at Evans.

"I didn't mean to offend you, your grace." the man squirmed behind me and my eyes narrowed. If he could feel for these crocodile tears that was worth all the efforts I was doing to save him.

"We shall leave now." I reminded him and he nodded his head as he ran behind me as if demons were chasing him.

"Your grace." he called me as we sat in the carriage.

"Yes!" my sharp eyes made him hesitate as he gulped. Yet he clenched his fingers and asked

"Why did you call me your partner in front of his majesty?" should i tell him that i could feel the presence of strong magic around us and i was afraid that the apprentice that was searching him would find him and kill him.

Should I tell him that I was trying to protect him?

"Evans, there is something I need to tell you!"
