Easier than I thought!

Scarlet pov

"Name everyone who is behind this and issue an order of death punishment for all of them." was the only thing I wanted to do now.

"My lady, the punishment is announced by your husband!" said the knight shivering and I laughed maniacally.

"He is nothing but a beggar I brought from the streets. I was right, humans do not deserve trust. They do not deserve love and care. Whenever I have tried to show kindness to them they have cut me. I am taking this body with me. You go and bring his family straight to me, safely. If another incident happened, i will kill you with my own hands.'' I said in a cold voice and the man gulped but nodded.

"Hold the body and lay it in the carriage gently.'' I said to the other three knights who followed my carriage and stood in the corner dumbfounded as if they were still looking at ghosts, not humans.

"What a piece of dumb kids!" I shook my head and shouted. "Either you pick up the body or there will be more dead bodies to be picked up soon." this time they all moved and ran to hold the body, soon it was in the carriage and i entered behind it.

"My lady, there is a dead body in this marriage. Why don't you take another carriage." said the head of the knights and I smirked.

"I have more affinity with dead bodies than living ones. You do not need to worry about it. Start the carriage so that we can collect more dead bodies." I replied as I entered the carriage.

When the door closed and the carriage started, my expressions finally changed.

"I am sorry for being late, Murid. I will not be able to repent but i promise i will take care of your family for my lifetime.'' I said as I touched the cheek of the young man who had treated me with kindness and then closed my eyes. My eyes filled with anger once again and I did not need to see that my eyes had turned red with anger.

When the carriage reached the palace, it was still crowded but no one stopped the carriage like before. The crowd was standing on the left side while I thought that they would have left.

I walked out of the carriage, straight to the hall where they had taken my portrait in the middle of the room and all the nobles had gathered to mourn over my death.

Many were looking shocked to see me, but not much. They must have heard that I was there an hour ago.

"My lady.. you.. You are alive?!" I heard the man saying with such relief on his face. If i did not know any better, i would have thought that he was worried about me, or he was dying from the pain of my death!

"Why, you have already planned to transfer everything in your name after my death?" I asked , tilting my head as I walked towards him with slow steps.

"What are you talking about, my lady? I was completely broken when I heard that your carriage fell from the cliff. I was so furious that I even announced the death penalty to the coachman. How could he be so careless. It must have been his trap.."

"You chose wrong words for your explanation.'' I looked straight into his eyes with clear bloodlust.

"Pardon!" he said in confusion.

"I have thought to give you an easy death and let the matter end right there. But you reminded me what you did to my loyal servant. Now I will make sure that you will get tortured until you ask for death, yet you will not get it.`` I caressed his cheeks as I said that. That was the man I have chosen to marry!

He was nothing but a poor farmer who was sold to a slave establishment since he was not able to return the debt. I felt pity on him and bought him. I taught him manners, etiquettes, and how to stand in the upper society. And then when he said that he loved me, I accepted his proposal.

I accepted him, not because I was in love with him, but I thought he would not betray me because he loved me. Ha! What a fool I was! Like everyone, he was blinded by the power, money and status I had! He could have had it as my partner, but he was greedy enough to want to get rid of me, so that he could have it all for himself. Yet he has the audacity to stand in front of me now and act like he was all innocent.

"I did not know what you were talking about, I was so devastated by your death. That's why I took that action. I couldn't bear to see the sight of the man who was responsible for your death. I didn't know that he was loyal. I apologize for my impulsiveness. But I could not bear to lose you." tears flew from his eyes, as he moved closer and hugged me.

But I held a tagger pointed on his chest between us. His face was looking so vulnerable as if he was shattered.

"You are one of the best actors I have ever met. But trust me I have met so many that I can see through easily. I knew you were greedy from the start, yet I let it pass because everyone is greedy here. But you were a fool too. Yet I give you another chance. Tell me whose idea was this and i will spare your life.'' I said looking into his eyes. I could see the fear taking place in them and I knew that I was closer to the truth.

His pupils moved and looked at the sidelines with fear in his expression and a smirk formed on my lips. It was easier than I had thought.
