"Ladies and gentlemen! Our most awaited guest is here. Welcome the Rogue Alpha Damien Vargulf." Ethan had received a call from the sentinel patrolling around the pack house. He could not wait to send Isabella away and find a truce with his enemies.

"Damien Vargulf? Isn't he our enemy? I have heard he is an aged man with a foul smell. Why did Alpha invite him?" The pack members mumbled among themselves. They were not pleased with the new guest.

"Of course, he will be surrounded by a foul smell. He is nothing but a rogue Alpha." One of the hunters present among the pack members sneered. He had heard of the various rumours surrounding this mysterious Rogue Alpha. It is said that he is very dangerous and sharp. He can destroy any pack without batting an eyelid if he sets on any pack. Never in history had he lost a single battle. That's why his nickname was "War God."

"Oh, God! Just the thought of him with a protruding belly makes me disgusted."

"Silence! He is our guest. As your Alpha, I command you all to show respect to this special guest." Ethan commanded in his authoritative voice. Not for once, he turned to look at the elders sitting in a far corner.

After Ethan's command, all the pack members in the banquet hall pursed their lips and stopped running their mouths.

Just as the banquet hall was silenced, a heavy gasp followed with heavy footsteps. Everyone turned to look at the person, and all the women couldn't help but blush. Male werewolves did not like the looks on their mates' faces. They scrunched their noses in disgust.

A tall, majestic figure entered the banquet hall, executing an air of ice. His broad shoulders gave a sense of protection and safety. He possessed an arresting charm with chiselled features that mirrored the strength of his werewolf self. His windswept, dark hair frames a face marked by sharp cheekbones and a well-defined jawline. The same icy-blue eyes hinted at mischieve and sharpness, though a veil of mystery remains. Dressed in classic and modern attire, he exudes a timeless elegance, accentuating his cold and distant allure while concealing the enigmatic layers beneath his polished exterior.

"It is a great pleasure to have Alpha Damien in our pack." Ethan smiled lightly and welcomed the cold-blooded Rouge Alpha.

"Is it? I don't think so." Damien's cold, magnetic voice made all the ladies' ears pregnant.

Ethan frowned to show his displeasure to the male werewolves present at the party.

"Alpha Damien is my special guest, and disrespecting him means disrespecting your Alpha," Ethan warned everyone. He did not want those stupid people to ruin his plan.

"Let me escort you to your seat, Alpha Damien." Ethan tried his best to act as humble as he could. Although Damien was a Rouge Alpha, he could not make an enemy out of him. Unlike other Rouges, he has a wooden fragrance surrounding him with a unique sense of attraction.

"There is no need, Alpha Ethan. I don't have time to waste on partying around. I want you to fulfil your end of the bargain, and then we can form a truce." Damien never liked to be in a crowd, especially in an enemy land. He was there to take what belonged to him years ago.

"If you say so. Let me introduce you to her parents." Ethan gestured for Isabella's parents to come forward.

They were all influential and talented people at the party, and they picked the reason for Ethan to invite a Rouge Alpha.

"He is going to regret his decision." One of the elders in the corner shook his head and murmured. They weren't happy with sending their pack's little girl with a Rouge.

"Damien Vargulf." Damien did not bother to introduce it further. He was well aware of what kind of parents the Rolf couple were.

"I am Advin Rolf and she is my wife Lora Rolf." Advin did not like the way Damien treated them. By Advin, Damien should be thankful because he was 'sending' his daughter with him.

"Alpha Ethan, I would like to meet my bride." Damien was losing his patience as the time tricked by. He had people under him waiting for his command to carry out orders. His every second was precious.

"I have ordered the guards. They will be here anytime." Ethan looked in the direction where a few guards were entering with Isabella. Her eyes look straight ahead without any emotions. They were empty and cold, mirroring the emptiness of her heart.

The surrounding people hushed down. They wanted to gossip but did not dare. Even Thea stood beside Ethan without uttering a word. She was afraid to mess things up at this crucial point, so she chose to stay silent.

"Here is your bride, Isabella Rolf." Ethan sighed and gently brought Isabella to Damien's side.

"Isabella, you might resent me, but this is for your good." Ethan patted her slender shoulders, hiding back his disgust.

"Isa, you are our precious daughter. But for the sake of your happiness and our pack, we have to take this step." Lora hugged Isabella, wiping her fake tears.

Isabella's amber eyes met Neil, who was clenching his fists. She shook her head, indicating him not to step in.

Isabella looked around the banquet hall and could feel their disgust, pity and mocking gazes. Her bloodless lips curled upwards as she threw her head back and laughed out loud. She looked like a crazy psychopath to the guests, forcing them to step back. Even her parents and Ethan couldn't help but form a distance. The only person standing beside her was Damien- a stranger.

"Advin and Lora Rolf, from this point on, I am not your daughter, and don't ever try to touch me with your sinful hands." Her sharp gaze turned to Ethan and Thea.

"Ethan Alvar and Thea Blaze, I curse you both to have a marriage without a single day of peace. Ethan, didn't you tell everyone here that I was your mate? Oh, and the fact that a lowly girl rejected you." Isabella intentionally raised her voice to make sure everyone could hear her.

"What the fuck is she saying?"

"Who does she think she is?"

"Her and rejecting Alpha Ethan? Impossible."

Different speculations formed around the pack members.

"Isabella, I have given you enough respect by not throwing you out. It would help if you were thankful that I am giving you to an Alpha, and yes, you indeed rejected me. Yes, it is true because I allowed you to do that. How could a wolfless girl like you can bear my rejection." Ethan wasn't a fool to deny this. He used this as his card to force Isabella.

"Pack!" A loud slap resonated in the hall, hushing all the summers.

"Insolent! Watch your words, Isabella. This is the Alpha you are talking about." It was Lora Rolf who slapped Isabella, causing her to stumble. Thanks to Damien, who caught her.

"You ingrate, girl. Knowing that you don't have a wolf and are a weakling, Alpha Ethan didn't banish you. Instead, he pitied you and found a mate for you." Advin's eyes turned fierce with anger. He raised his hand for another slap, but a force held his wrist, making it hard for him to move his hand.

"From this moment, she is Isabella Vargulf, my mate and the Luna of Rouge wolves. She won't bow down to another Alpha. Also, I won't let it slide if you raise your hand on my Luna again." Damien warned the Rolf couple. His eyes were cold yet commanding, unlike any other Rouge.

"Ha! Right. I am an ingrate and an insolent bitch. You sold me to a Rouge Alpha because you are afraid. I'll bear this in mind. One day, I will return for revenge on everyone who made me miserable. I will wreak havoc and destroy the peace you are eager to form." Isabella vowed and finally turned her head to look at Damien. For a second, her heart stopped beating. Those ocean-blue eyes were so familiar yet strange. Her heart thumped in her ribcage.

'What kind of pain this is.' Isabella tried to stand on her feet without falling.

"Isabella Vargulf, you don't need to see these people again." Damien held her by the waist and pinned her closer to his body. His voice was like a feather caressing her skin.

"Thank you." Isabella pushed back the pain and removed her gaze from Damien.

"The truce is formed. Goodbye, Alpha Ethan. I hope you never cross paths with me." Damien smirked as he gently guided Isabella out of the pack house.

"Wow! He was so cool."

"I never thought a Rough Alpha could be this commanding."

"If Rough Alphas are like him, I want to marry one too."

All the unmated girls had pink hearts in their eyes as they envied Isabella.

Thea was standing beside Ethan all this while, clenched her fists. Her long nails dug deeper into her flesh.

'How can that bitch marry a handsome man like Damien. I won't let you stay in peace, Isabella.' Thea promised in her heart.
