"I don't know what game you're trying to play but I'm not going to fall for it," I said, taking a seat on the table and watching Brian do the same.
A few minutes ago, I was this close to kissing him but almost like a miracle, I was able to snap out of it and stop myself just in time. When I observed the look on his face, I realized that he knew exactly what I wanted to do and he was egging me on on purpose for whatever reason.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, sweetie," he replied, pretending to be clueless and earning an eye roll from me.
