CHAPTER ONE: VALEDICTORIAN

ELENA

….

" Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming our valedictorian, Elena Volkov," The university President announced.

The moment I have been waiting and working so hard for has finally come to pass. I have always dreamt of being the Valedictorian of an Ivy League school.

The Crowd went wild as my name was mentioned.

Well I'm very popular. So I expected nothing less.

"Lena,Lena,Lena,Lena,ohhhhhhh Lena, Lena i ohhhh '' could be heard as the students rowdily chanted my name as I made my way to the stage. 

"Hmm" I cleared my throat as I tapped on the microphone to silence everyone." Ohhhhhhhhhh. What are we?"

"Oh oh, Ah,Ah, We are lions, we are proud, we are the class of 022, Ahhhhhhhhhuhhhh" All the students chanted loudly mostly in bass tone while tapping their hands and feets in the same rhythm.

The crowd went mad again as all the parents stood up to cheer their children.

"I am very honoured to receive this, I give thanks to God, my family-"I continued as I scanned the hall in search of anyone I knew. My wonderful family was in the corner. My dad had this look like he was going to cry. Well who wouldn't when they have a lawyer who is a Valedictorian of her class as a daughter. My best friend, Chloe, who had been screaming at the top of her voice when I was called was smiling broadly at me as I continued with my speech.

"Fuck it, we're outta here" I end my speech screaming at the top of my voice as I threw my graduation cap up in the air, so did all the students.

The graduation ceremony is finally over and everyone is out taking pictures.

"Here's my girl,"My mum said happily as she ran to give me a hug." I'm so proud of you baby"

"Yes mama," I reply, giving into her soft hug.

"Oh my, my daughter is Valedictorian" my dad says wiping off tears from his eyes.

"Here we go again" Yelena,my younger sister whispered into my ears

"Stop dad!! You're embarrassing me" I reply quickly,punching him softly on his arms but finally giving into his hug. "I love you dad"

"Love you too honey" he says while placing a kiss on my forehead. " I'm so proud of you" 

"Well it's time you come work for the family. We would use a professional lawyer and a CEO as well" he says looking straight into my eyes with pleading yet stern eyes" 

"Come on honey not here" Mum said, breaking off our stares, knowing the conversation wouldn't end well and especially not on this good day. 

"Yes dad!! Not now" I said quickly, trying to change the topic." So what do y'all have planned" 

"Uhh nothing, that's why I'm following you wherever you are going today" Yelena said, batting her long lashes at my parents, making a cute pout with her mouth while wrapping her arms around mine.

She is just so cute!!

"No young lady!!" Mum said yanking her off me " if you want to be like sister, you have start now"

Yelena's face dropped cutely which was hilarious to watch.

"Well, I gotta then" I said, giving each of them a kiss on their cheeks.

"Alright hun be back early"

"Byee!! Love y'all" I said running off to go find Chloe.

"Hey,we gon dance till we drop '' boomed loudly out of the speakers covering up the whole night club. The lights all dimly lit in different colours with smoke coming out of it gave the club a whole different kind of vibe. Alcohol filled the air, sweats and all the bodies jamming together as everyone danced to the rhythm of the music gave my austesterion an authentic rise. 

"Shots, shots,shots,shots" Chloe and I banged the counter loudly as the bartender brought our drinks to us.

In one second, we gulped down the strong alcohol and demanded more.

"Shots,shots, shots, shots"The handsome bartender smiled at us charmingly while filling out cups.

"Hey handsome" I tried flirting with him as I caressed his built up strong,sexy arms." You free tonight?" I said winking at him.

His smile simply aroused whatever was going on in me. The Alcohol is already kicking in.

"Come on Lena, let's go dance," Chloe said, dragging me onto the dance floor.

"Today is the best day of my life! !!" I streamed loudly while jumping up and down to the rhythm of the song.

My vision was becoming blurry and my head started spinning, but I didn't care as I whined my waist on anyone that stood behind me. I loved the feeling and didn't want it to stop.

I think I made out with someone but I can't really recall. 

"I am going to the bathroom" I whisper into Chloe's ears before staggering off to find the bathroom. 

I'm done with my business, pour some water on my face, and go back out to find Chloe to find Chloe but I couldn't find her.

I spot that handsome bartender again and go to him. 

"Hey handsome" I say sexily amidst my drunk self."Have you seen my friend?"

He nodded no and flashed that charming smile again at me.

The Alcohol is definitely doing something to me right cuz all I wanted right was to tear his clothes off his sexy body and devour him. 

Surprisingly he squeezed a note into my hand and it read "I'll be done here soon, I want just as you want me" .Ouhhh…All the nasty thoughts flashed through my head in a second as my eyes caught his sexy yet firm backside before returning back to his face, which was plastered with the most sexy, yet devilish I had seen that evening.

Definitely I'm getting really reeled tonight, so I decide to stay back since my best friend left me probably for some random dude. Classic Chloe. 

I watch this handsome dude do his job for some minutes before I'm engulfed in a strangely yet satisfying sleep.

"Get this whore into the car" An unfamiliar hoarse male voice wakes me up as I'm pulled roughly into the back of a black vehicle.

"Who are you?" I ask softly as a ping of pain string through my head, making me hold my head in pain.

I look around amidst the pain trying to grasp what is going on, when I notice that I am in the middle of two hefty,scary looking men with hideous scars on their faces. 

"Who are you?, w..what is going on here?" I asked loudly, while shaking with fear but no one responded as they simply glared at me. 

"Let me go, who are you?Help, let me go" I yelled fearfully,while trying to reach the door only to notice that my hands and feets had been tied tightly and it was only now the pain started registering in my head.

"Shut up bitch" One of them said harshly while landing a sounding slap across my face, making me scream out for help.

"Please I'm begging you, don't kill me" I tried pleading with them. 

"Keep that fucking bitch quiet" the one at the front driving shouted harshly while still focusing on the road.

"Please let me go please-" I'm cut off as I feel a syringe pierce painfully into my skin. I turn around in pain to see the other one emptying the content of the syringe into me with a growl on his face.

  I tried resisting but my body betrayed me and everything went dark in a matter of seconds.
