Love Happens

He fixed his necktie and heaved a deep breath. The words that Markus said to him leave a hollow feeling in his chest. 

He knew that he was keeping a special feeling for his wife. Things were different because of the situation but he knew deep inside that his feelings for his wife did not just grow recently. He married to get what he wanted from his father but he did not tell his father that he agreed to marry the woman he had chosen for him because it was Lilly Rose. 

He still remembered the childish things that he did to his wife before. He wanted to see her, thus, he made the stupid deal of Lilly Rose personally picking up her allowance in his office. And he looked forward to every Monday that Lilly Rose would drop by at his office. He looked forward to annoying her and he looked forward to how she would always hold her ground and would not let him win.
